"So the conclusion is that we will ask that Basilon what objective it got?"

"Yes, that would be our only course for now and we can ignore things related to this for the time being. I have talked with Ella before and the creature’s intelligence is very bad. It can be as intelligent as a 4-year-old human if we need to measure it like this."

"Alright, now I need another help, Uncle John."

"What is it?"

"I need you to contact all our trade connections. How many do we have?"

"32"

"Hm… good enough. Tell them all that we are now selling potions too. Ask for 2 gold coins for each of the small mana potion vials. 3 for the strength ones. We will be only selling these two in bulk for now."

"Finally got the opportunity huh, I will contact everyone right away."

"Thanks"

"Don’t come to the stairs, herbs coming up!"

Lucas waited for the person to come down and saw Haley bring a basket bigger than her with her downstair.

The basket was filled with herbs to the brim and at one glance, Lucas could tell that they were a bit rotten. So was the fate of these herbs that he excavated from the land a long time ago.

"Thank you, Haley." Lucas smiled and took the big basket from her which made her finally feel relief.

"No problem, I will go bring the bones and leather too."

Lucas didn’t ask her if this was all the herbs they had as the amount that it looked at was actually very numerous. They just didn’t look like it.

Lucas took the herbs with him to his workstation and closed the leather curtains for some privacy.

It was time for the brewing to begin. Lucas had set up two of the cauldrons with boiling water.

He moved his finger inside one of the cauldrons and kept it there for a second. It burned yet he had to take the temperature properly for the brewing to be very efficient.

’My knowledge has grown a lot since I reached halfway to level 6… Is it time to get those special herbs and trees?’ Lucas mused over the fact.

He had not tried to excavate them since the last time when his skill was only at level 2.

After the temperature was right, Lucas threw in many of the same types of herbs at once amounting to a few hundred. They filled the cauldron to the brim not getting soaked in the water at once.

Lucas took the wooden stick on the side to make them submerge in the boiling water surging with bubbles faster.

Just a few minutes later when he confirmed the changes, Lucas threw in a tinch of a powder at the side. It was from one of the very common plants that had led him to improve his mana potion to new heights.

He looked at the basket that was still filled and calculated as to how many times he had to repeat the process.

He called on randomly to one of the people up there and told them to bring him all the glass vials that Daryl had made for them in bulk before.

The glass vials looked crude yet they could hold the hottest of the potions without trouble. At the end of the day, it was just hot water filled with aroma, taste, and magical properties.

The vials were in hundreds and were transparent in color other than some crude dark burned marks and bumps of glass showing the crudeness of the technique used to make it.

After a few hours of continuous work, Lucas filled all the potion batches in line inside the vials.

"How is the quality this time?" Sean came into the curtains and looked at all the vials that Lucas was filling up one by one.

"I had to brew the Mana potion 5 times in total making over 100 liters of the potions in total. Out of which, only 40 liters are of the high-level uncommon grade and the others are low-level common quality."

"Hm? Oh, okay." Sean seemed to want to say something but Lucas only smiled as he knew what was going on in the guy’s brain.

"Don’t worry, my skills have not regressed. I deliberately made 60 liters of low-level potions for trade. The other 40 liters are for our group’s use."

"I see, I got scared for a second. But why would you not want to make everything high-level? It will sell for more of those gold coins." Sean asked in seriousness which was liked by Lucas a lot.

He was proud when the group had such questions about the betterment of the shelter which was now even extended to a territory.

"That will not do us any good. These guys still don’t know about the mana potions at all. And I am asking for gold coins that would be extremely useful in high quantity with time. They wouldn’t want to pay so much till we show them from scratch first. Remember, no one has a good supply of these coins right now." He stopped and looked at Sean who seemed to understand till now and continued.

"Giving them high-level ones will only make them see the lower-level ones as something not worth much. They would even try to get the price down seeing that we started directly with the high-level potions. We need the leverage in these deals."

"Hmmm…. Alright, if you say so." Sean scratched the back of his head and bid farewell.

Lucas filled all the vials and still, a lot of the potion was left in the cauldrons. He picked one of the vials and placed it in the center of his palm.

"50 ml for one vial… 20 for 1 liter… 1200 for 60 liters? How many do I have?"

Lucas had to count them as he hadn’t done it previously. After the counting had ended. He couldn’t help but feel pissed off.

"210 huh… selling one low-level potion for 2 gold coins, it would amount to 410 coins huh… a good deal."

’And 1200 would mean 2400 gold coins.’ He thought instinctively and couldn’t help but resist giggling.
