Level up is hard? I can Directly Purchase infinite Levels!-Chapter 87: City Massacre, Thunder Purgatory
"Is this... Thunderclan’s Thunder Colossus?"
A Heartwitch Succubus, charging forward, froze in shock, her pupils dilating in horror.
"I’ve seen a Thunderclan expert use this before!"
"It’s a Godform derived from Thunder Arbiter—how is this possible?"
Amidst the ruins, Raine staggered to his feet.
The pain from the deep wound in his forehead, the sharp agony from the missing bone, twisted his face in torment.
The intense suffering made him hiss in a curse.
"You damn filthy scum—!"
"Die, all of you!"
The gargoyle Master tried to retreat, but Thunder Colossus’ massive hand reached out and grabbed him along with his Godform!
With a powerful jerk, Thunder Colossus tore the stone wings off the gargoyle!
The wings were ripped off with a loud ripping sound, and shattered stone flew everywhere.
"Ahhh—!!!"
The gargoyle Master screamed in agony.
The other Masters seized the opportunity to activate their Godforms and attacked Thunder Colossus, resembling ancient giants engaged in a battle to the death.
"All of you... perish!"
Raine’s consciousness was fragmented, his scream bursting out.
The blow to his head had nearly shattered his sanity, leaving only the thought of destruction in his mind.
He drew out the Divine Relic Thunder Prison Blade!
The Thunder Prison expanded rapidly, and with Thunder Colossus in control, it furiously slashed, directly slicing the gargoyle Master into pieces!
The Godforms charging towards him were violently cut apart, and the Thunder Prison Blade spread endless thunder, crackling as it tore through the sky.
Each strike tore through space, and one Master after another, along with geniuses, was sent flying through the air, blood spurting like fountains.
"That kid’s consciousness has been shattered!"
The remaining Masters’ faces twisted in fury as they realized what had happened.
This was the perfect opportunity to kill him!
But they too had suffered heavy damage, and their repeated charges were blocked by the overwhelming power of the thunder. They could only roar in frustration, helpless and unable to do anything!
As the opportunity slipped away, they remained powerless!
Raine stumbled out of the ruins, slashing with his sword again and again, as the brilliant apocalyptic divine lightning plowed through Crimson City, turning buildings and Soul Devourers, Shadowclaw Beasts, and other alien races into dust!
[System Notification: Killed a large number of alien races, bloodstone +35890!]
"My leg!"
"This is it, is the Thunder God going to destroy our Soul Devourer clan?"
"Run, that human has gone mad!"
"Help..."
The city was filled with screams.
Another slash, and the ground in the city cracked open into a pitch-black abyss!
Raine threw all his skill scrolls without hesitation.
Void Thunder, Judgment Spear, Thousand Thunders, and other skills exploded across the city!
The violent thunder exploded in front of Zor, Nyx, and others, sending flesh and bone flying everywhere.
They watched the scene, frozen in horror.
"He’s too brutal... He’s not even human!"
"His head has been split open, and yet he’s still fighting, still unleashing such terrifying power... He’s a monster!"
"I can’t die here...!"
A frostborne clan genius turned and fled.
Zor and the others hesitated for a moment but then began to run for their lives.
They were all talented individuals in their clan with bright futures, and there was no need to die here.
The deep enmity was all from the Soul Devourer clan, and there was no need to stay and fight to the death.
"Dammit... Dammit!!"
"You die, now!"
Quet screamed angrily as he watched the geniuses flee.
This human warrior was more bloodthirsty and ruthless than an Abyssal Behemoth—he would still massacre the entire city even if he were insane!
"Run, everyone—get out of Crimson City!!"
Quet, pale and hoarse, yelled at the top of his lungs.
"This demon is too terrifying... save me...!"
"Run, staying here will get us killed!"
Several Expert-level Soul Devourers rushed forward to surround Raine, but more low-level alien races fled for their lives.
"You damned monster... I’ll die with you!!"
A surviving Soul Devourer Master, his face twisted, burned all his Nex energy and transformed into a destructive storm, charging at Raine!
The Thunder Prison Blade struck to meet him!
Boom—!!
The explosion of destruction sent shockwaves as the Thunder Prison Blade was knocked back, and Thunder Colossus shattered.
Raine’s body cracked apart, blood gushing from every wound.
The Soul Devourer Master was torn apart by the destructive energy.
"We can’t let him live, we’ve lost too many of our kin!"
The remaining two Soul Devourer Masters rushed forward in succession, self-destructing to release their devastating power.
Boom! Boom!
Two massive explosions erupted, and the annihilation storms swept through the area, crushing the city’s ruins once again.
Crimson City fell into dead silence!
Even the heavy city walls were blasted into pieces, scattering across the distant plains.
Thunder Colossus finally collapsed after taking a massive amount of punishment. The Infernal Griffin, Unicorn, and Thunder Lion phantoms shattered.
Raine’s body was nearly torn apart, and his consciousness was completely in chaos!
But the violent thunder, like chains, wrapped around him, and the Obsidian Golem Codex desperately kept his body from falling apart.
Instinctively, he once again summoned Thunder Colossus, disregarding the Thunder Prison Blade, and charged toward the other side of Crimson City.
Boom!
Above the heavens, pieces of stars wrapped in thick smoke fell to the plains and city, creating massive craters!
Hegros and the others watched as two dismembered corpses fell to the plains.
It was the Grandmaster who had come with the gargoyle clan’s Grandmaster Ballo, along with a Heartwitch Succubus.
Their bodies were covered in poison marks, already beginning to decay.
Ballo, holding Aetherlight, tore through the void and fled into the distance without hesitation.
Sydell abandoned his weapon and fled with half his life.
Hegros, dragging his heavily wounded body, returned to Crimson City’s sky, his massive blood energy dripping down in drops.
Borm also returned, looking equally disheveled, though still radiating immense strength.
The two Grandmasters had been slain by him!
They scanned the city’s ruins, their pupils shrinking, then turned to the figure still pursuing the alien races in the city.
Hegros took a step and then leaped forward.
With powerful momentum, Thunder Colossus suddenly turned, gathering blinding thunder and launching it at Hegros!
Hegros dodged and shouted.
"Raine—!"
But Thunder Colossus didn’t stop, and endless thunder continued to strike at him.
Each strike was like thunder, with arcs of electricity tearing apart the sky in front of Hegros.
"What’s happening?!"
Hegros didn’t fight back; he just kept dodging, his eyes locked on Raine, hidden behind the Godform.
His body was covered in bloody marks, blood pouring from every wound, even his head dripping with blood.
But despite this, he kept attacking.
Hegros, already heavily injured, dared not get too close. He was pursued for nearly ten minutes.
Borm watched for a while before speaking in a hoarse voice.
"His head is heavily injured... his consciousness is in chaos."
Hegros immediately understood but grew anxious.
"What do we do now?"
"He’s so badly hurt, and we can’t get close. If this continues..."
Borm hesitated before activating his mind power, piercing through Thunder Colossus, and a low voice rang in Raine’s mind.
"Wake up!"
The fog in Raine’s consciousness began to clear slightly.
He spat out a mouthful of blood, and Thunder Colossus lost its support, disintegrating into Thunder Light that vanished between heaven and earth.
His rank dropped back to Elite-level, and all the injuries and pain weighed down on him like a mountain!
His body trembled violently, unable to stand steady.
Raine grabbed a spear stuck nearby and barely managed to stand.
He took out a few precious potions from his ring and hastily drank them.
Hegros hurried down to support him.
Borm took a step forward but stopped suddenly, watching from a distance.
"Am I... still alive?"
As Raine recovered from his injuries, he mumbled weakly.
