Lord of The Karmic Armada-Chapter 30: Even if you die, Even after you Die
Chapter 30: Even if you die, Even after you Die
As Valtar thought to himself.
Was he ready for any of it?
No, he was not.
Did Valtar not feel pain?
He did, oh he felt the pain, so so strongly.
He felt it so much that he wished to die all over again.
But when memories of his past life came to mind, all his emotions disappeared. The only thing that remained in him was emptiness. The ones that truly mattered and the ones who truly mattered to him were already gone, and there was no way back.
So, what was there to fear, what was there to think?
To find my meaning in this life, to find my purpose.
As long as I am alive, I have to fight.
If I don't fight I'll die.
If I don't die, I'll fight.
Because the only choice is to move forward,
Even if you die,
Even after you die.
You have to keep moving forward.
As he made his final resolution, his face became expressionless and indifferent, but his eyes were filled with determination. Looking at the front, finally, the dark silhouette that was shrouded in the darkness was revealing himself.

The elven leader stopped in front of Valtar, the distance between them being only 10 meters,
He had an extremely calm and cold expression, his eyes were shining with strange patterns that one cannot look at for too long. His skin was shining a strange dark light that would immediately capture anyone's attention.
The crown on his head, filled with white shining jewels, only served to increase his authority as the sole ruler of Dark elves, the cloth he was wearing exposed his hands filled with compact power ready to kill their enemies in an instant.
Despite that, the cloth of his did not seem normal in any way and was covering his vital parts while not making him lose any mobility.
Hansel's entire demeanor screamed the tales of the ruthless and the deadliest killer he was.
His gaze was sharp enough to pierce through the entire being of his prey.
And now his prey was Valtar himself.
While Valtar was analyzing the powerful enemy in front of him, Hansel was doing the same.
Even though unconsciously his confidence was absolute. Being the man he was, if there is one thing he learned from the Fae folks in his entire life, dedicated to destroying them, is to never underestimate your enemies, no matter how weak or insignificant they seem to be.
As Hansel looked into the eyes of the human, the first thing he noticed was a glimpse of absolute determination in them, soon replaced by an indifferent gaze, and his face was just as expressionless.
The human was wearing the usual attire of the second-stage dark elves within his tribe.
Hansel understood how he got it and why he was wearing it as well. Also, he does not seem to be possessing any special weapon or artifact.
But another emotion threatened to burst forth out of him, an absolute and boundless rage. However, the spark of that emotion vanished as soon as it appeared.
Hansel then proceeded to say, "How did you kill Zhao?"
Hearing that deep and dark voice, filled with authority, made Valtar even more unsettled,
But hearing what he said, Valtar's cold expression was almost about to crack as he internally thought, 'Disgusting bastard, he doesn't even show the slightest bit of anger towards me despite knowing I killed Elmyra, his daughter, and the first thing he asks me is about that bastard Zhao?'
But his expression outwardly did not change in the slightest as he sneered in a slightly mocking tone, "You already know how."
Then he added with a smile that was not a smile, "They naturally helped me."
Valtar noticed that after hearing the last part of his statement the Elf leader's lips barely moved as if amused. If not for the fact that Valtar was focused on him in every way to not get ambushed by a sudden attack by his enemy, he would not have even noticed that slight change in him.
"What's your name, human?" said the Elven leader this time with a more calm tone.
He hesitated for a moment but eventually said, "Valtar."
"And may I have the honor of knowing your name, Tribe leader?" Valtar's voice was still filled with defiance and mockery.
This time the slight expression of amusement abruptly vanished from his face and his expression returned to being as emotionless as the darkness itself, as he stated in a firm and steady tone, "You do not have the qualifications to know, Human."
The very moment these words hung in the air, the entire world became frozen for a moment as Valtar's heartbeat quickened, his pupils conscripted, understanding the severity of the moment.
Boundless killing intent like no other pressured down on him, it was so heavy and suffocating like no other, Valtar felt like he was being choked. As a response to this move, he also activated his killing intent in full fury.
Unfortunately for Valtar, there was a world of difference between the quality of their killing intent. If Valtar's killing intent was like gas then The Tribe leader's killing intent was very much liquid.
So, there was only a single thought left in his mind,
KILL OR BE KILLED.
He immersed his entire being into his senses and absorbed every input of information those senses provided. Valtar could see the feet of the Elven leader disappearing or melting into the darkness.
He immediately turned his body to the right, using every single agility stat that he had. Then swung his sword with his full strength in a horizontal motion and.......SWOOSH!
The speed of his sword was great enough for him to feel like cutting through the air as if cutting through butter with a kitchen knife.
***The moment their swords met, and as if a metallic explosion sounded in the atmosphere.
KA-CRASH! BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!
It was so powerful that the darkness itself almost dispersed in a 30-meter radius area centering the exact clash point of two swords of the two powerful Pathwalkers.
Because of the strong recoil of their clash, both parties were slightly pushed back.
And it was obvious from the result who had the upper hand by a big margin.
Both parties remained expressionless even afterward. Valtar's right arm felt numb from the strong recoil. He almost lost his grip on the sword because his hand was trembling badly.
Even his sword seems to have received some minuscule damage from the clash, gladly the sword he was using now was taken from the Third-elder, which was made from a better material than the weapons used by the second-stage elves.
So, the sword won't break in the middle of a fight at least. Valtar's cold gaze met directly with the gaze of the tribe leader, while the Tribe leader remained expressionless and only took 2 steps back after the clash.
Valtar himself had to take 5 steps backward even then, it felt difficult for him, his indifferent face now had traces a of frown plastered on it involuntarily.
Things were truly worse than Valtar expected. The angle of the Tribe leader's attack with the sword, the power behind it, even when dealing with the recoil, Hansel had an uncanny grace and elegance to his every single movement from every part of his body, effectively making his entire body a deadly weapon. And then....
The Elven tribe leader vanished again, this time the attack came from behind him.
