Lord of the Truth-Chapter 1126: Visiting a beast king -1
Planet Gudah—The Space Portal in the Southern Hemisphere
Bzzzt
Robin took a slow step out of the spatial portal, his hands casually clasped behind his back, his posture relaxed yet commanding. His sharp eyes scanned his surroundings, absorbing every detail with calm precision.
"Hmm?"
The first thing that caught his attention was the ruined village sprawled within his field of vision. The devastation was evident—scattered remnants of arrays lay in disarray, shattered beyond repair. Faint traces of lingering energy flickered on the ground, whispering of the quick battle. Broken thermal barriers, once mighty and impenetrable, now stood frozen and lifeless among the wreckage. The entire scene bore silent testimony to the brutal events that had unfolded here.
Yet, something was off. There were no bodies, not even a drop of blood could be found on the ground. Leaving behind nothing but a ghost town suspended in an eternal moment of ruin.
Beyond this desolate expanse, an eerie emptiness stretched into the unknown. The sky churned with swirling dark clouds, twisting sluggishly in a slow, unending vortex. The air carried a dense, bone-chilling fog that thickened the atmosphere, obscuring the horizon like a curtain of shadows. He could see nothing beyond the city as if the world itself had ended at that point.
The ground beneath his feet was another enigma—a strange, semi-solid ice, neither fully frozen nor fully liquid, existing in a peculiar state in between.
"...."
After a long moment of silence, Robin knelt down, his fingers brushing against the strange ground. He scooped up a handful of what could only be called earth and slowly rubbed it between his fingertips, feeling its texture.
This was no ordinary ice.
It had been forged over countless millennia by the relentless onslaught of Permafrost Tempest Storms, compacting and condensing into this bizarrely structured soil.
This place reminded him of other exceptional planetary terrains he had encountered before—
Like the blood-soaked soil of Orphan's Blood Planet, steeped in the ominous laws of bloodthirst and chaos. It was now being excavated and repurposed to fortify the True Beginning Empire's city walls while yielding vast quantities of precious minerals.
Or the energy-saturated land of Nihari Planet, a world overflowing with pure, unrefined power. When Robin first stepped foot on that planet, he immediately understood its significance— the dirt there alone carried enough energy to rival the crude energy stones from Jura. In fact, calling those "energy stones" was an insult to the very concept of energy; they were barely more than scraps. The raw soil of Nihari, on the other hand, was potent enough to activate entire spatial portals!
And now, this place…
The frozen land of Gudah held its own secrets. A resource waiting to be unlocked. If the Research and Development Division were to conduct a proper study, they would undoubtedly uncover groundbreaking applications for this unique substance.
Amidst the eerie silence and the heavy, suffocating air, Robin closed his eyes for a moment. He took a deep breath, allowing the sensation of the environment to sink into his very core, then exhaled slowly.
Exactly as the reports described.
The Law of Frost ruled supreme here, binding every inch of this land in an eternal embrace of ice and stillness. And woven intricately within its fabric was another profound force—the Path of Time, flowing densely through the atmosphere like an unseen river.
This place…
This was a natural training ground for any cultivator seeking to attune themselves to these two formidable laws. Here, one could sharpen their affinity toward Frost and Time simply by existing.
But Robin's moment of contemplation was abruptly cut short.
Bam! Bam!
The sudden sound of footsteps crunching against the ice shattered the stillness.
Robin remained perfectly still as several figures encircled him in a loose formation, their presence aggressive and hostile. They were humanoid in shape, yet their heads bore distinct fox-like features, their eyes gleaming with suspicion and hostility.
In one fluid motion, their weapons were drawn, their tips aimed directly at his throat.
"Who are you?!" one of them barked, his voice sharp and demanding.
"Hmm?"

Robin finally opened his eyes, his gaze unwavering. His expression was unreadable—neither alarmed nor defensive, merely mildly interested.
"A human emerging from a spatial portal. Who else could I be?" His tone was casual, almost dismissive. "Obviously, I'm someone from the True Beginning Empire."
Then, as if something suddenly irritated him, a flicker of annoyance passed through his expression. "Is this how you treat envoys from the empire?" His voice turned sharper. "Is this how you uphold the sacred agreement your king himself swore to honor?"
His words made some of the warriors hesitate, but their leader—the one wielding a long, intricately designed spear—remained unfazed.
"Don't spew nonsense!" he snapped. "We explicitly warned the empire's merchants to avoid using this portal at all costs, lest we provoke the wrath of Devos The Transcendent any further!"
The name sent a ripple of unease through the surrounding warriors.
"If your people wish to enter our territory, you were instructed to come through the Great Serpent Empire's portal in the northern hemisphere, not here!"
He took a step closer, the tip of his spear hovering dangerously close to Robin's neck. "So tell me, outsider—why have you come through here? Are you not one of them? Or are you deliberately provoking Devos The Transcendent just to drag us all into another disaster?!"
"Oh?" The slight irritation in Robin's eyes suddenly shifted—twisting into something else.
Mockery.
A slow, knowing smirk curled at the edge of his lips.
"I see. So it's my fault, then?"
His response was so casually condescending that it immediately infuriated the warriors around him, "You bastard—!"
"WAIT!!"
A sharp, commanding voice cut through the tension, halting the imminent confrontation.
A female warrior emerged from the crowd, her gaze locked onto Robin with widened eyes.
"You fools—do you even know who this is?!" she snapped, her voice laced with urgency.
The spear-wielding warrior scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Who could he possibly be?" he muttered, still glaring at Robin. "He's just a Saint at Level 23!"
Whoever he is, the spear-wielding warrior wouldn't let him go today with out a suitable punishment!
They were lucky —very lucky— that Devos The Transcendent had chosen to spare them, allowing them to flee rather than be utterly obliterated.
To provoke him again?
That was nothing short of suicide.
"Back off!"
Without hesitation, the fox-eared girl grabbed the armored guard by his breastplate and flung him backward like a sack of garbage.
"S- Sandria! I'm your uncle! What do you think you're—?!"
The guard was utterly baffled. To be thrown aside so effortlessly—for the sake of an outsider—was unthinkable! But his outrage never found voice.
His words caught in his throat when—
BAA!
She dropped to one knee.
Then, with a resounding voice that cut through the freezing air, she declared: "Sandria pays her respects to His Excellency, the Supreme Victor, the Conquest Emperor— Robin Burton!"
BAA! BAA!
The remaining guards immediately threw down their weapons and followed suit, falling to their knees in submission. Even the uncle, still dazed from being tossed aside, scrambled upright and took the proper kneeling posture, his mouth slightly agape, eyes wide with disbelief.
Technically speaking, they were not vassals of the True Beginning Empire. There was no obligation to kneel before anyone.
But this man…
This was the same man who had utterly annihilated the Great Serpent Empire— An invincible existence.
Kneeling before him felt like the only correct choice.
Robin regarded Sandria for a moment, his gaze unreadable. Then, he reached out and lightly patted her head.
"Good girl."
His tone was neither condescending nor overly affectionate—simply acknowledging her perceptiveness.
Then, as if none of this mattered, he casually turned away.
"I'm going to have a chat with Devos for a bit. You all may stand down."
"M-My Lord! I don't think that's a good idea!!"
Sandria kept her voice low, but the strain in her tone was undeniable.
Devos The Transcendent was not someone to be provoked lightly!
Robin, however, simply waved a dismissive hand.
"Oh, relax. Will he be more troublesome than Crexus the Purifier? Or Durger the Devourer?"
He let out a deep chuckle, full of quiet confidence, and began walking toward the depths of the frozen wasteland.
A single cold sweat droplet slid down Sandria's forehead.
In this freezing land, she actually felt herself break into a sweat!
The moment Robin disappeared beyond the swirling fog, one of the warriors finally found the courage to whisper:
"T-That's him? That's Robin Burton?"
"Hah! Not as terrifying as the stories make him out to be."
"You idiot—was his conquest of the Great Serpent Empire also just a story, then?"
The discussion was cut short when another guard turned sharply toward Sandria.
"Sandria! What you did was reckless! No one is allowed into the Den except for you! What do you think Deivos will—"
"Shhh!!"
Sandria slapped her palm against his mouth, silencing him at once.
Did these fools even understand who they were talking about?!
Many of them had never set foot on Jura or Greenland. They had never heard the full stories about that man.
It was said that Crexus the Purifier had sworn allegiance to him and fought under his command during the Poison Rock Planet Conquest.
It was rumored that he had subdued Durger the Devourer with only a few words.
And both of those beings were supposedly on the same level as Devos the Transcendent!
"...."
After a tense moment, Sandria finally exhaled and stood up.
"Let's go. We need to move away from this area."
She then took off, flying northward without another word.
The rest of the warriors exchanged uneasy glances before quickly following her lead.
It didn't matter if the rumors were exaggerated.
What mattered was this simple truth:
Robin was a Planetary Emperor.
Devos was a King of Beasts.
Whatever was about to happen in that Den…
Was far beyond their ability to interfere.
