Chapter 110: Mirrored Perspective 3

Now that he had successfully finished the third stage, the connection he felt with the model underwent a change, deepening in folds as more was suddenly revealed to him and he stared at the model for a while with doubt heavy in his eyes.

What he felt couldn’t be deciphered from just observing the model in detail, it went beyond that in a way that surpassed anything Kieran had heard of or read about. There was something....odd, but once again, it was too far out of his reach to know what it was.

Instead of pondering on some pointless thoughts, Kieran stared at the model of his body which just needed its final and finishing touches.

Closing his eyes to focus once more, he ran his senses through this body which laid on the bed, as he studied every single pore and squeeze present.

He didn’t just memorize them, he implanted them into his mind, making it an inherent part of him and when he was done, he began the final process for the mental model and skin slowly began to appear and covered the whole body in no time.

His hair finally took root, growing rapidly till they reached their normal height.

Now, all was done, but his eyes were blank, missing color and Kieran was at cross roads.

While one might think that the reason for this was because of the different shading and arrangements his eye took, this was in fact far from the fact.

On the surface, it might seem like all he was doing was replicate his physical appearance on an extreme level, but he was doing much more.

What he was doing was taking the essence of each part he replicated, looking beyond what the normal eye could see to see the reality behind it, and now that he was looking into his blank eyes, he didn’t know what to do, cause he was being told that he had three eye types and that they weren’t just variations.

’No, this isn’t enough!’

Kieran’s mind clicked as something popped into his head and he approached the model until he was directly in front of it.

He raised his arm and pressed on his forehead, this appearance changing to when he had first activated his ability.

If he had a mirror, he would’ve seen his looks, but that was the last of his concerns as he observed the eyes of the model which had now gained color to it—a completely black eyeball and an amber ring at the centre.

Taking his finger, Kieran traced a thinner ring on the eye, just outside the bigger one.

With this, the model was complete and it suddenly showed up in front of him and Kieran, staring at him dead in the eye like it possessed an intelligence of its own, but Kieran already knew how this was going to end.

The model turned its back to him and Kieran walked into it and they merged together leaving a single Kieran behind.

That was the final process of the first stage and it initially took him almost a month to reach after finishing completing the model. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

That means that back then it took his model about a month to rea h the stage where it seemed like it gained a concuoissnwss kf its own and he could proceed to merge together woth it.

This time though, it had happened almost instantly.

Once he merged with the model, Kieran finally felt alive again, a deep sense of familiarity woven with a little bit of something foreign assaulted him.

His eyes snapped open as his meditation was forcefully interrupted by what he was feeling. The blood in his body rushed through his chest in a violent manner, spreading to the rest of his body anf it felt like soaking in a pool of hot water after a day in the chilling mountains.

He felt....alive again.

Placing his hand on the side support on the bed–

"Hmm?"

Kieran’s eyes widened when he saw the large sent that gad appeared on the support just by placing his hand on it and applying a little force, he hadn’t even tried carrying himself yet.

’The hell!’

Kieran thought, checking himself again.

Nothing felt out of place to him. It dust feel like there was an imbalance or anything, yet he couldn’t ignore the evidence right in front if him.

Just to confirm that he wasn’t being delusional, Kieran tries applying a little bit oore force and the support almost crumpled completely to the ground.

Almost instantly, he pulled back his hands, afraid of destroying the support completely, not that it could be used anymore in its current state.

Kieran looked down on his hands, clenching and unclenching his fists Over and over again as he quickly tried to adjust the strength he put into his actions but he was struggling badly since he didn’t feeling anything ofc with himself.

Rather than reducing the pressure he put in his hands, it felt like he was trying to directing himself to rap things rather than touching normally the way he remembered to.

"I didn’t know what to do, so I came to get you ove– hih?"

The transitioning from tense to surprise in the voice of the warden who had just stepped in caught Kieran’s attention as he was distracted from what he was trying to do fir a moment.

Kieran could feel his cheeks burn up as the warden and the other man present inspected the state of the side support that looked like it jad been crumpled by a giant.

"What happened here??"

The voice of the man was dead flat, making it impossible to tell what he wss thinking.

Kieran felt his cheeks burn up and redden in shame as he thought if the amount it was going to take him to cover fir the damage dine.

Two support wasn’t just any support, it had elements of the black material in it which wss already enough to tell Kieran that it was of a high quality, at least for kn ordinary support
