Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 579: A Little Trip Outside The Palace
Arielle put down her book and agreed to it. She didn’t really remember the faces of the people she had saved, but she did remember one of the babies that Priest Jill said couldn’t train as a priest because the baby wasn’t old enough. Besides, some elderly people also didn’t want to join as a priest in the cathedral and want to spend time in Birwick alone to enjoy the rest of their lives with their respective families.
Arielle was a little overwhelmed by all their compliments. She couldn’t stop herself from smiling and nodding while saying that she didn’t do much of anything.
"I hope you feel comfortable here. I’m also still in the process of learning to master my power, and I hope we can progress together," Arielle said, making them bow their heads to express their gratitude once again.

After Priest Jill felt that Arielle had enough study, Arielle asked permission to leave the room to ask Irene and Aimee to go out of the palace. She had previously peeked to see Ronan first in the hall through the side room without needing to be seen in the queue of people waiting in the hall.
A woman burst into tears while saying that one of the knights in Northendell’s uniform visited her tavern and ransacked it until the tavern was destroyed. She asked for justice directly to the king, and Ronan immediately ordered one of his commanders to find the knight in question.
While waiting, the man looked up and Arielle waved her hand, saying that she would go with Irene without making a sound. Ronan just nodded and returned his focus to his meeting, which would end tonight. He also saw Priest Jill who looked very busy with his duties and several royal officials sitting on the side.
Arielle recognized Lazarus’ father, whom she had met before. The man looked up and saw her. As they stared at each other, the man gave a small smile, to which Arielle replied with a smile as well.
Arielle then left the hall to go out with Aimee and Irene.
"William?" Arielle asked confusedly to see William near the carriage she was going to ride.
"Good morning, Your Highness. His Majesty the King has given me the task of escorting you to buy some painting supplies."
"Aren’t you very busy?" Arielle asked then approached the man. Aimee and Irene were also waiting beside the carriage.
William reached out his hand to help Arielle to get on the carriage. The girl accepted it happily then followed by Irene and Aimee who was also assisted by William.
"Yes, but His Majesty wanted me to accompany you because Kael and Lazarus are desperately needed at a time like this. I can join them again after we get back later," William replied.
"Thank you," Arielle said, feeling grateful that there was someone she could trust to take care of them.
"With pleasure, Your Highness," William replied as he closed the carriage door.
Arielle sat alone, while Aimee and Irene sat in the same seat opposite her. Arielle opened the curtain of the window beside her so that Irene could see the scenery outside the carriage, which was full of piles of white snow.
Irene drew closer. The girl was already wearing a thick dress, warm coat, socks inside her shoes, and gloves, which were also thick. However, every time she breathed, Arielle could still see the steam that came out of her mouth.
"Ah, it’s still so cold?" asked Arielle.
Irene shook her head then tightened her coat. "It’s warm enough," she answered simply.
Arielle smiled after seeing Irene who was so fascinated by the scenery outside. Seeing Irene reminded Arielle of herself when she first arrived in Northendell that was freezing cold like today. She couldn’t do anything without a heater, but little by little she finally got used to the cold.
They had passed through the forest that separated the palace from the city and arrived at the parts of the city that were full of citizens’ residences until finally the carriage reached the center of the square. The carriage didn’t stop right away. It kept going straight until it arrived at the painting supplies shop that Arielle liked.
Ronan had left a large bag of money enough to allow Arielle and Irene to buy whatever they wanted.
An old shopkeeper immediately recognized Arielle. He was the father of the young man who painted Arielle in the queen’s dress and a crown. Ronan even kept the painting in their room.
"Your Highness!" exclaimed the man in surprise to see Arielle visit his shop again after so long.
He was very surprised because there were rumors that Princess Arielle had been sick after her wedding day with the king. The old rumors about a rare disease that had descended from outside the kingdom spread again because after the wedding day, the princess disappeared as if swallowed by the earth.
The people in the capital said that the last time someone saw Princess Arielle was when she helped the Birwick people. After that, there was no news from the palace. Even the palace was not opened last month for the routine agenda that was always carried out every month.
Arielle, who had become a loyal customer there, returned the man’s greeting and immediately grabbed his body so as not to kneel on the floor.
"Please, Sir. Don’t do that," Arielle said. She was uncomfortable when someone knelt before her feet.
"Your Highness... I am very happy to see you again. I was very worried because your coronation ceremony was postponed, making everyone who was waiting in front of the cathedral confused."
"Ah.. I’m sorry about that. I was sick at the time, but... I’m very healthy now."
"Really! I’m really happy to see you’re doing well. Please take good care of your health, Your Highness. You are our new hope," said the man.
Arielle just smiled, unable to reply to the man’s words. She was now fully aware that there was a very heavy responsibility that she would carry after this. Everyone would see her as a new hope, and Arielle didn’t want to let them down.
"I will do my best," she replied firmly.
"You are already the best," the man replied.
