Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 584: The Arrival Of Archie And Duke Ambrose
The song seemed to hypnotize Ronan, making him feel very calm, and Arielle’s soft voice added to the gentleness of the song. His eyes looked at how beautiful the flames Arielle created. It was Blue. From what he had studied at the academy, the blue star in the sky was the hottest star, so was flame. The blue flame was the hottest.
Perhaps Ronan would soon make a new room specifically for Arielle to spend her time with the dragon eggs. He kept waiting and waiting until the song stopped and he could see Arielle’s back shook. He walked closer. Luckily, he came at the right time to keep the girl from falling backwards.
"You’re overdoing it. Didn’t you say Otis only told you to do it in your spare time?" Ronan asked while wiping his wife’s sweaty face.
"This is my free time."
Ronan put Arielle on the couch in their bedroom and asked the maid to prepare dinner because Arielle had missed her dinner. Irene had eaten first with Aimee and Sasha.
"Eat well. I don’t want you to get sick. Your coronation is only a few days away," said Ronan while massaging Arielle’s shoulder. The girl then touched her husband’s hand.
"Thank you for taking good care of me."
Ronan pulled down Arielle’s dress slightly so he could kiss her neck. "Because it is my duty as your husband."
Arielle’s coronation day drew near. It was only a couple of days away. The preparations were made in a hurry because it was done in a very short time. Even so, Ronan wanted everything to be perfect.
Arielle had done her dress fitting with Miss Dressrosa. The stylish woman vented her anger at Lucas when the man conveyed the message that Ronan wanted to add another dress that Irene would wear.
Arielle felt guilty when she saw Lucas’ remorseful face, but Miss Dressrosa still did it. She was very sweet to Irene. The woman then measured and chose a suitable color for Irene to wear on Arielle’s coronation day.
Meanwhile, Irene now spent more time with Aimee, and in the last few days, Arielle had also seen Sasha more often in the palace. The boy said he would be going to the academy in a month, so he wanted to spend more time playing with Arielle... and Irene too.
However, Arielle’s feeling said something else. Seeing Sasha who was so excited every time he invited Irene to play, made her feel that the boy liked Irene. Once, when Arielle visited Ronan’s office to ask about his day, she found Ronan looking furious.
At first, Arielle wondered if there was something that made Ronan look furious? Was there any part of her coronation’s progress that didn’t go as planned? Because as far as Arielle knew, Ronan was often angry if something didn’t go according to the plans he had made.
However, her guesses were all wrong. Arielle was holding back her laughter as she approached the window and saw Sasha and Irene walking together while carrying Arielle’s rabbits to take them to Whitethorn Palace. Behind the two children was William who also helped carry the remaining three as Sasha and Irene each carried one.
"I have to forbid Sasha from coming to the palace after this," said Ronan at that time.
Back then, Irene stepped on her own coat, and Sasha... who was three years younger and shorter than her was very kind by helping to lift the tail of Irene’s coat.
Arielle couldn’t believe the thing she saw. She bit her lower lip to stop herself from chuckling. She wanted to admire the two lovebirds, but she realized that Ronan was burning with anger... or jealousy beside her.
All day long Ronan was in a bad mood and it was Arielle who tried to cheer him up. Ronan felt very sad because, as an older brother, he still had a hard time getting Irene to talk to him even though he had talked to her several times. It seemed like he still needed to get closer again to his sister.
After that night, Ronan always tried to invite Irene first. He also planned to get closer to Irene by teaching her to read and write. Arielle totally agreed with the idea.
However, because of the preparations for Arielle’s coronation, Ronan had to postpone it. His duties were getting piled up because after the coronation, he had promised to take Arielle and Irene to see the sea.
Then, the next day, two days before Arielle was crowned as Queen of Northendell, the carriage carrying Archie with Duke Ambrose, Archie’s grandfather, arrived in the palace.
Arielle had been waiting with anticipation. When the Nieverdell Kingdom’s carriage stopped in front of her, she beamed from ear to ear. Her smile was wide and her teeth beautifully showed on her face. Arielle couldn’t wait to meet Archie and Duke Ambrose. She had many things to tell them.
A guard opened the carriage door and revealed Archie who got off first.
"Archie!" Arielle exclaimed happily. She immediately ran down the stairs and jumped into her brother’s arms.
"Arielle!" shouted Archie who also hugged his sister back no less tightly.
Archie hugged Arielle very tightly. He hadn’t heard from her in a very long time. A month ago, he had to leave Northendell with Arielle’s uncertain condition. He thought his sister was missing, but Ronan always said that everything would be fine. Until finally, he no longer got news of his sister.
A few days ago, when Archie got the first letter from Arielle after a month without news, he was so relieved. Without thinking, Archie finished all his business so he could attend his sister’s coronation ceremony.
Archie swayed his sister’s body left and right. He still couldn’t believe that Arielle had returned, but then he just realized something. Archie instantly let go of the girl’s arms.
"Where’s your long hair?" Archie asked while holding Arielle’s hair, which was now only shoulder-length.
"I cut it because my long hair was a bit troublesome."
Archie didn’t know how he should react. At Nieverdell, long hair was a must for the ladies in the palace, but this was Arielle. If it was his sister’s decision, maybe he had better keep his mouth shut. Also, Arielle was now part of Northendell. Perhaps the northerners didn’t think much of such a trivial thing.
