Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 78: Where Is Arielle???
"Your Highness..." called the child, and Arielle immediately hugged them. She was the same child who had made her a crown from a tree branch yesterday.
Arielle took off her coat and wrapped the two children to warm themselves. She also removed her gloves. She gave it to the two children, one each, and hoped they helped with the cold.
"This man is still alive, Your Highness. I will bring him down immediately."
The knight said, but then he remembered the dangerous route they had taken earlier. He was worried the princess couldn’t follow him.
"Your Highness, could you wait a moment with these children? I will call someone nearby to follow up and find you. I must bring this man down immediately."
"Hurry up. I’ll take care of them."
Arielle hugged the two children and asked the fox to sit on their laps so that they could share warmth.
"Princess... I think... I can’t take it anymore," said one of the children.
Arielle panicked at the words and when she saw the child’s lips were blue. She looked around. The knight had just descended, and Arielle wouldn’t be able to hold two children at once.
"Your Highness... You can bring my sister first. I can still wait for help," replied the older child. Her teeth chattered loudly as she tried not to shake in front of the princess.
Arielle couldn’t leave the child alone in the forest like this.
"Hold on a little longer for us."
The younger sister gripped Arielle’s clothes tightly as if the pain was too unbearable. But then, the child’s grip broke, and her head fell limply on Arielle’s shoulder. Arielle’s heart was beating very fast. Many bad thoughts came to her head.
"Hey... wake up..." Arielle called softly as she patted the girl’s cheek.
However, it was to no avail.
Arielle tried desperately not to cry.
"Junia, wake up..." called the older sister.
Arielle touched the young girl, and slowly Junia’s body felt hotter. She went down with a fever. This was not good. Arielle got up and decided to carry the child to safety.
"Can you stand up?" asked Arielle.
July, the older sister, shook her head and started to cry.
"Please save my sister," she begged.
Arielle carried Junia in front and squatted down. She encouraged July to climb onto her back. Arielle then wrapped July’s legs under Junia’s body, which she was carrying in front of her, so Arielle only needed to maintain the grip on July’s legs.
It was incredibly heavy, but she hardened her resolve while she kept their balance on her hold.
"Princess... just leave me..." the older child pleaded.
Arielle tightened her jaw and lifted the bodies of the two children together.
"I’m not leaving anyone behind. Hold my neck tight."
With trembling legs, Arielle began to step down. She hoped to meet someone halfway to help ease the burden. The fox ran and left Arielle alone.
Unfortunately, the blizzard was only getting heavier. Arielle balanced herself as much as possible on her legs. Her hands were starting to feel numb, and she was shivering violently. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
The path opened by the knight who had come with her earlier was slowly getting covered back with snow. So Arielle had to be extra careful. She spread her legs first to make sure she didn’t slip into the slope.
Inside the heavy and turbulent snowstorm, Arielle saw the shadow of the torch from a distance.
"I-is that our savior?" asked July in a trembling voice.
Arielle did not answer the question because she had to concentrate on the road in front of her. It was too hard, too heavy. The wind was roaring wildly. It pushed her body back and forth, so she could only snail through the piling snow.
The impatient July raised her hand and shouted. "Here!"
"Hey, stop it!" Arielle shouted at July. However, due to the slippery road, Arielle’s body slipped to the side and lost her balance. Arielle let go of her grip on July’s legs and hugged the unconscious Junia.
Arielle’s body rolled down the slope but still did as best she could to protect Junia from any collision.
"Your Highness!" shouted July, who was left above.
Arielle gasped as her body fell on her back in a pile of snow. Junia also fell on top of her. Arielle’s body felt frozen stiff and could not be moved anymore. Arielle slowly realized that Junia’s body was getting hotter. But Arielle didn’t have the strength to move a single finger.
The snow continued to fall, and Arielle couldn’t help but cry silently. She hoped someone would find her. Her head however was no longer able to think as exhaustion filled her weak body. She slowly began to lose consciousness.
Then everything went dark.

Ronan, who had just arrived at the manor, dismounted and gave his horse to a guarding knight. He then rushed into the manor to clean himself up so he could meet Arielle again. The king took off his coat which was accepted by William. Then the man looked inside his manor intently.
"William, why does it feel so quiet? Where are Sebastian and the rest of the guards?" asked Ronan.
William also looked around with a strange feeling. Not even the manor door was guarded as usual. William walked after the king.
Ronan strode quickly toward the stairs. The sound of his footsteps echoed down the hall, and the man opened the door to Arielle’s room loud enough to make Mrs. Arthur, as well as a maid, scream in surprise.
William stopped Ronan, who was about to draw his sword when he saw another woman on Arielle’s bed.
Mrs. Arthur, who noticed the presence of the king, fell down and kneeled on the floor.
"Your Majesty..."
"Where’s Arielle?" asked the king without further ado.
The maidservant who was helping Mrs. Arthur also kneeled on the floor.
"Forgive us, Your Majesty. The princess is also looking for this woman’s children and husband."
"What did you say? In stormy conditions like this?" asked William in surprise.
Ronan didn’t wait for the servant’s answer. He ran out of the room.
