Lucifer's Descendant System-Chapter 302 - 302 Leveling Conditions
Chapter 302 - 302 Leveling Conditions
'Lilith... There's a lot more about you now I have access to, I think you should read this with me,' he said, as he looked attently at the words that appeared to him, written in fire. However, this time, the fire had a strange color, almost purplish, a color he'd never seen before in any of the status pages.
'... This is, important,' she said, as she heard him read the contents of her status to her.
[User: Lilith ????
Title: Companion of the Descendant of Lucifer, ?????????, The First Demon, ????????????, ???????, Mother of All Demons.
Lilith was the first demon to ever exist, having been created by god himself, she was the first woman. After defying the hierarchy God created, by doubting Adam, she was cursed to live in the form of a snake at his Eden Garden, where all his creations lived. Lilith was responsible for the expulsion of Adam, her male counterpart created by God, and Eve, his subordinate woman, created by God from his rib, to avoid the defiance of having a woman as his equal, as happened with Lilith herself. After leading both into the path of defiance, tricking them into consuming the fruit which conceived them the Original Sin, Lilith was branded a Demon, and anti-god, and banished from god's creation to the purgatory, a punishment realm created by God himself, where souls would suffer in anarchy for all eternity for having challenged his teachings, though that would not last forever.

'Why does it feel like this is something major?' Lilith asked him, looking up.
'I don't know, but my gut feeling tells this has probably something to do with why you lost your memory and were that injured,' Noah's words sounded like a dark omen to her, as she looked at her own body, contemplating her current weakness.
'We should know soon... At least now, I know why Bel was calling me Mother. My memories seem to slowly come back the longer I am by your side.'
'Or the stronger I become...' Noah muttered in his mind, in a way that Lilith would still hear him.
'Do you think Lucifer's power is what's helping me recover my memories?' Lilith asked, happy, for some reason, as she heard Noah's mumbling.
'I don't know for sure, but it feels more like you recover the stronger I become, rather than just staying by my side. I feel if you level up, you may remember even more things. Just like how I become closer to Lucifer, you probably become closer to your original self.' Lilith didn't know why, but Noah's words excited her. It was something more profound than just being happy of remembering stuff, but instead, a deep sense of pride on who she was. 'Either way, it's about time things get interesting around here,' he said, looking up and towards the rest of the group.
"It's about time isn't it?" the scout said while looking at Noah in the eye, making him nod.
"Leader, what's the strategy for this fight?" one of the warriors said, looking up to Michael, who was now sat back down.
"Everything I said before still holds. Don't do anything alone, value your life the most. We'll hold and shoot from afar at first, while Noah thins their backline. Me and this guy will hold their warrior in the meantime. Also, if you have the chance, kill them for me, will ya?" Michael's serious act completely cracked in the end of the sentence, making all tension in the room go away. "This is just another fight. We still have to plan as soon as the layout is decided. Without it, we can't know for sure," Michael said, looking at his bow.
"Most of the arenas so far were straight lines, there were only a couple mazes. Should we prepare to fight them head on with no cover?" Noah raised a solid point, but Michael shook his head.
"I don't think they'd go for something this problematic. It is clear someone is influencing the arena this time, they'll probably reuse one of the layouts that would give them the most advantage. Since they are individually stronger, it makes sense they would instead favor a layout where we'd be spread out and fighting individual battles," the bearded warrior said from the side, making Noah look at him, curious.
"So... there's a good chance the layout will be the same as that of our first battle, right?" Noah asked, just to make sure.
"A variation of it. Just the concept remains, the layout itself is different," Michael confirmed, but with a catch, which made Noah become a bit wary.
"In that case, should I just fly and give you directions from above?" he asked, making Michael frown.
"No. That should be our last option. If you become their target and get hit, things will get messy fast," Michael turned him down, making Noah want to explore other options. To be fair, he didn't want to use the unicorn, since that'd give away that he could make contracts with strong monsters, and Noah had planned to brush the Imps off as having been rented.
"I'll get the imps to go with everyone, then. They'll help a lot here," Noah said with a smirk on his face.
"Everyone? You mean we'll walk together?" one of the warriors asked, confused, as he saw Noah's smile creep.
"No, I'll just have them accompany you all." Noah shrugged, making everyone suspicious, especially the female healer, who wasn't expecting this kind of new thing to show up out of nowhere.
"So, you mean, how many Imps will we have helping in this fight?" she asked, making him turn from facing the group to face the girl by his side.
"Huh? Plenty. We'll have 30 of them helping us this fight," he said as a matter of fact, making everyone's jaws drop.
"Wait! 30 of those powerful monsters?! Just who in the hell are you?" A mage stood up, terrified.
"A person with contacts. It was very hard to arrange all of these to be available at once, even for me, you know," Noah gave out a white lie with a poker face, after all, mostly nobody would believe him he was the one behind the masked man from that day, and that he also had a blessing where he could spawn such strong monsters, aside from flying, teleporting, and using fire. Oh, and Healing, let's not forget he can also heal. 'Seems I am overpowered, at least when it comes to flexibility. But this is a good opportunity to check things out. After all... why the hell did the imp skill not level up?' as he thought this, a text box written in fire appeared in front of his eyes, which made him blink. It was answering exactly the question he'd asked himself, and made him think, 'Why was this not written in my status in the first place?!'
[(Hell's Summon Lv 02 1.476/1,200 exp: Skill used by great demons to summon armies of artificial inferior imps. Imps life is limited based on energy spent. The more energy, the longer the imp will last. Part of experience gained for killing monsters by imps, even without Lucifer's command, will go to Lucifer.
Lucifer once created an army of over 1,000,000 imps in the snap of his fingers because of the large amount of mana he possessed, in addition to the high skill level.
After ascending to level 02, the limit of imps the user can summon has doubled, although the strength of imps still remains the same. In order to ascend further, the caster needs to comprehend and get used to leading large numbers of imps at once, coordinating their effort like an army. If the user's experience is not compatible with the next level of the skill, the ascension will be postponed until said experience is gained.
Lv 03 Condition: Proudly command all 30 Imps in a battle at once.
Currently available imps: 29/30.)
'If I knew it was this simple I would've done it before... Why the hell is the system today all fond of telling me such things? It's almost like it has a will of its own.' Noah looked down at Lilith and smiled, making her look back at him, confused.
'Did anything good happen?' she asked, seeing the light in his eyes change.
'I feel like this battle tonight will be a feast. I wonder how stronger the Imps will become," Noah said with a creepy smile, which for Lilith, looked incredibly beautiful.
'Master.' Lilith's flustered voice made Noah look at her, confused, and wait for her answe. 'Nothing, sorry... It's just, you looked a lot like Lucifer for a second...'
Noah felt a bit confused by her words, but he did not have the leisure to ask her anything else, as the loud system began calling them, "I guess it's time to teach them a leasson," he said, earning a loud cheer from the group. As he walked slowly towards the exit, he suddenly felt a hand hold onto his, as he heard Lilith hiss in dissatisfaction without saying a word.
"You will keep that promisse, right?" It was the female healer, and she held his hand before he left the room.
"I always keep my words.. You will not die tonight," he reassured her, as they walked out the room, still holding hands, much to Lilith's frustration.
