Chapter 1304: Chapter 950: Ash Invites the Observer for a Drink (Third Chapter)

During the interval while Harvey was pouring wine, Ash hastily helped Vishi up, lest this guy actually continue to cling to his leg.

Vishi asked with a smile, "Do you just not trust your lock chain that much?"

"It’s not that I don’t trust the lock chain, I just trust you."

Ash said, "After witnessing your ambition in Dream Heaven, I realized I couldn’t bind you forever. You will surely break the chain and take revenge on me."

Vishi raised her eyebrows, "Speaking of which, I haven’t even repaid you for protecting me in Dream Heaven."

"The Witch and I protected you." Ash said casually, "If you want to repay me, let’s get along well before we become enemies."

"Then let me give you an extra option so we don’t have to become enemies." Vishi leaned in closer to Ash and whispered, "I’m still human, easily influenced by the body, you could try to seduce me."

"Or you could be seduced by me, the effect is the same."

Ash felt a peck on his forehead and saw Vishi retreat, touching her lips. Her expression was full of charm, and she laughed softly, "Don’t forget, snakes only have two ways to kill—kiss and embrace."

Ash rubbed his forehead, feeling that this venomous snake seemed quite pleased.

At this moment, Harvey had filled everyone’s glasses, and just as they were about to raise them in celebration, Ash glanced at the murky liquid and casually asked, "What kind of wine is this?"

"Corpse liquid..."

Bam!

In an instant, Ash slapped Igula, knocking his face away just as it was about to touch the glass.

At this moment, Harvey finished the second half of his sentence, "...the Dull Holy Grail indeed makes the corpse liquid tasty, I guarantee it with my extensive tasting experience."

Igula slowly put down the glass, touching his reddened cheek.

He squeezed out a few words, "Why didn’t you hit my hand?"

"What if the liquid splashed on your face and lips?" Ash said sincerely, "I’m not retaliating for your earlier tease, my body just instinctively moved to protect you."

"Indeed." Igula said through clenched teeth, "I can feel your abundant emotions, well done!"

Having been slapped without reason and still having to compliment it, Igula had to vent his anger on Harvey, pouring all the corpse liquid wine into his nose. Harvey didn’t mind, gladly accepting this new drinking method.

Ash looked at the tainted Dull Holy Grail and had to ask Rose, "Could you take it to clean? Meanwhile, pour a cup of wine for everyone with the Holy Grail, except Harvey, he’s had his fill."

Filly was taken aback, "Still using the Holy Grail?"

"We can’t just discard such a handy tool because of Harvey." Ash said helplessly.

...

...

While Ash and the group were talking on the first floor of the hall, a heated argument erupted on the second floor.

"What do we do now that Vishi has been persuaded by Ash?"

Youmo leaned against the staircase railing, peering at the people below, and sighed deeply, "They really intend to shatter the Heavenly Curtain of Allstars to let the Source Angel escape!"

"Vishi was persuaded, shouldn’t you be the one worried?" Black Demon mocked, "Don’t you have a way to change her mind?"

"The problem is, I don’t!" Youmo spread his hands, "If it were me, I’d certainly agree too, it’s indeed a more prudent route. I can’t think of a reason to refuse!"

"From their perspective, they did nothing wrong." Lord of Mirrors said calmly, "They never had the right to compete for the Angel inheritance. Letting the Source Angel escape aligns more with their interests. They’re too young, lacking decades of development."

"But the Source Angel has already broken three Void Wings. The seventh layer of the Void Realm is about to form; everything is unstoppable. A Supreme of Magic must go to the seventh layer, otherwise..."

"Shouldn’t the focus be on the fact that we can’t stay that long!?" Youmo was nearly going crazy, "I’m not here to watch Ash’s love life, nothing else can proceed with the Source Angel not dead!"

"Too many unexpected events cause this." Black Demon lazily stretched, analyzing, "Who could have predicted that the Silver Lamp would actually help Ash absorb the Dream Treasury? Our initial plan was only to let him construct an Upper Soul Temple prematurely. Now, it’s become an unimaginable Heavenly Kingdom of Souls... Mirror Demon, you’ve become a Divine Being and are so capable."

"I didn’t know." Lord of Mirrors stated matter-of-factly, "Besides Weiser becoming the Silver Lamp, I probably won’t."

"So what do we do now? They’re really going to help the Source Angel escape, this isn’t what was agreed upon!" Youmo sharply turned to the shadowed corner beside him, "Observer, to prevent the plan from unexpected changes, it’s time to show our true strength!"

Death Mad suddenly blocked in front of Youmo, asking coldly, "What do you want to do?"

"It’s enough, they’ve nourished the account well, it’s time for us to use it." Youmo ignored Death Mad, "Observe, aren’t you moved? Can you bear to watch Ash squander such great resources?"

Death Mad tightened her grip on the sword hilt, "Ash won’t squander."

"Last time was a brief play, not satisfying at all." Black Demon turned toward Death Mad. His hair color was a chaotic mix like dozens of paint cans blended together, his voice similar to a seventeen-part harmony, "If they’re going off the rails, I’d rather go down and play myself."

Death Mad was unfazed by Black Demon’s attitude, looking at the nearby Lord of Mirrors, who, after a moment of silence, showed an apologetic look.

"Sword Demon, we can’t stay that long. Rather than pinning our hopes on a future we cannot see, I’d rather witness our success or failure with my own eyes." She said, "The Source Angel must fall, a Supreme of Magic must be born. We cannot let them run wild."

"Just who is running wild?!"

Death Mad’s hair bristled with anger, she fully drew her sword, and an endless Blood Sea from the sword scabbard surged over the second floor, "If you want to lay hands on Ash, ask my sword first!"

"Or perhaps, we just need to ask the person with the deciding power." Youmo grinned, "So, Observer, what’s your answer?"

The four demons looked towards the Observer standing in the shadows. The Observer turned his head, gazing at the people in the hall below, and slowly said, "Their actions will lead to a future we can’t predict."

Youmo and Black Demon’s faces lit up with joy, while blood flashed in Death Mad’s eyes.

"But I don’t believe they can delay the coming of a new era."

Youmo and Black Demon’s expressions instantly fell, Death Mad satisfied, sheathed her sword, and Lord of Mirrors, somewhat surprised, approached and tugged on the Observer’s sleeve, whispering, "But their plan is indeed feasible."

"Every great age will end, just as all the sacred must die." Observer said, "I, however, want to see if they can truly create a Miracle."

"Can you be clearer!" Youmo exclaimed, "Aren’t you just blindly placing hope in them?"

"Must I spell it out?" The Observer replied coldly, "What I mean is, even if you guys take over, you won’t do any better than them."

"Why’s that?" Black Demon protested.

The Observer replied indifferently, "Because we are proud to be enemies of the world."

Youmo and Black Demon naturally disagreed, the Lord of Mirrors showed a somewhat disapproving expression, only Death Mad leaned against the railing, observing the hall below with her chin in her hands.

Clack, clack, clack.

Footsteps echoed down the stairs, and they turned to see Rose coming up with a tray, on which sat five glasses filled with wine.

Rose placed the tray on the table beside them and then turned to leave.

Death Mad, Lord of Mirrors, Black Demon, and Youmo all looked stunned, only the Observer went over and picked up a glass, took a sip, and said to Rose, "Thank you."

Then he said to the others, "It’s on Ash, have a drink."
