Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 102: Closure
"What the f*ck are you even saying Silvia? Can you even hear yourself?" Davian responded.
"It’s true. If not?! Why do you keep her close? Why is it so hard for you to let her go, out of your life completely? Why are you so blind to see it? Her motives to come between us?!" Silvia asked.
Davian sighed, "You are not thinking straight, go home or go back to work. We’ll continue this later, I really don’t have the time nor energy for this,"
"We won’t continue this later. We are discussing this now!" she responded.
"Go Silvia! Leave, please!" Davian turned and started walking away. Why would she get such insecure thoughts?
He didn’t mean to leave this so unresolved but he was getting kind of tired of reassuring her even when it’s so obvious that what he had with Leah was simply more of business than even friendship.
Leah wasn’t coming in between them, Silvia’s unnecessary jealousy and insecurities were.
He sighed as he got closer to his firm. They both just needed to cool their heads first before they will be able to clear this bad air between them.
Silvia just couldn’t believe he just told her to leave and walked away. She turned around and did leave the building- Angrily!
"Leave Leah," Davian told Leah, once he had reached there.
"But what about the drafting of the presentation?" Leah responded.
"It isn’t our first time doing it, is it now Leah? Just leave, I just don’t want to see you right now," Davian answered and went to his office.
Leah flashed Becca a small smile as she was about to walk out, which Becca returned.
When Davian got home, he couldn’t find Silvia. She hadn’t returned from work yet.
He got upstairs and freshened up. Thinking about it, he kinda feels bad about the whole issue. But it wasn’t true he wanted Leah around, at all.
If he had knew that this would have led to him and Silvia fighting, he wouldn’t have accepted the offers. But it can’t be helped anymore.
He went downstairs to the living room and waited for Silvia.
"Sir, are you sure you don’t want to eat without madam Silvia?" Myne asked him, he has been waiting for some while now and it was past dinner time.
Was she that mad at him, she doesn’t want to come home on time?
He decided to eat alone.
It was already past nine PM but she was still not home yet. Now Davian worriedly paced back and forth in the living room. He kept calling her but she wouldn’t pick up. He was really so worried now, what if- No! He shouldn’t get awful thoughts.
But he wouldn’t forgive himself if anything was to happen to her. He called Cia instead;
"She’s not with you too?"
{No, Davian}
"Sir, Madam Silvia is back," Myne announced and Davian felt relieved.
"She’s back. Bye Cia," he hanged up. He went towards Silvia once he caught sight of her then he engulfed her in an embrace.
"Silvia where have you been? You got me so worried," he started, after he let her go.
She was drunk!
"Are you drunk Silvia?" he asked.
"No, I’m not," she shook her head and wanted to walk pass him but swayed. He held her just in time.
"Silvia..." he called, she just stared innocently at him, in a way that made him chuckle.
"Did you just laugh?" she pouted and he chuckled the more. She hit his chest, "It’s not funny. It’s because of you..." she mumbled the last part but he heard her.
"I’m so sorry. I wasn’t laughing at you because you got yourself drunk, I’m laughing because you are just so adorable, very adorable even when drunk," he replied.
"No, you are making fun of me. You find it amusing that I’m drunk...no wait... I’m not..." she responded.
"Oh my princess," he shook his head and carried her in a bridal style, he walked towards a couch and sat down, making her to sit on his laps.
She was slightly drunk, would this be the right time to bring this up?
"I’m sorry about earlier. I just wanted us to cool off first before talking. I don’t have feelings for Leah anymore and I’ll never cheat on you talkless of with Leah.
"If it will make you happy, then I’ll never accept any other business offer from her after this and I’ll completely cut ties with her," he elaborated.
She started crying, "I’m sorry too, I overreacted. I was just too flustered, I’m sorry for being so selfish,"
"It’s okay, princess," he replied.
"I just...I really love you Davian. You are the best thing that has ever happened in my life and I’m too afraid to lose you," she continued. He began to kiss her tears away.
"Stop overthinking unnecessary things, my princess. You will never lose me, that can never happen because I’ll die if you lose me and I’m not able to spend the rest of my life with you," he responded.
She chuckled at his sweet words, he was right. She was overreacting and overthinking, Davian loves her and her alone. Leah? She is his past but Silvia is his present and forever.
"I love you so much Davian," she expressed and kissed him.
He kissed her back, "I love you too," he broke the kiss. "But you taste so much like whiskey right now," he teased her and she chuckled.
"Do you dislike it? Does it-"
"Sssh," he shushed. "Everything tastes better on your lips," she laughed again.
"Now let’s go to bed," he added and stood up carrying her in a bridal style again.
...
The next day morning, Silvia woke up with a hangover. Her head throb as she sat up on the bed. She was changed into her nightgown by Davian. She didn’t remember that, all she could remember was coming home and then, their heart felt closure.
She smiled, she must have passed out after that or something.
The door opened and Davian walked in all dressed up ready for work. He held a tray which contained breakfast for her.
"Good morning my sleeping princess," he started.
She smiled at him, "Good morning,"
He sat close to her, "That smile is so radiant, I’m guessing you remembered our conversation last night?" she chuckled nodding.
"Ah my head hurts," she pouted touching her temples.
"I would have taken care of you if it was a weekend but you just had to get drunk on a working day. Will you be able to go to work today?" he inquired.
"I will have to, I’ll just turn in a bit late. I have an important meeting today," she replied.
"Okay. Here, breakfast including hangover soup. If the headaches continue, take these painkillers. I’ve got to go," he stood up and kissed her forehead.
She held his hand, "Bye Davian,"
He smiled at her, "Bye," he pecked her cheek and she finally let him go.

The day of the meeting with the cosmetics company finally came as time passed by swiftly.
Davian, Becca, and Leah were the ones that went to the meeting. Davian was the one who will be doing the presentation.
And when that time came, he did it like a pro and like a piece of cake and the company’s representatives present at the meeting were so pleased and impressed by the presentation.
"I guess we have a deal then, Mr. Randell?" one of the crucial representatives, inquired standing up. The other representatives stood up, Becca and Leah stood up as well as Davian as he accepted the man’s handshake.
"Definitely Mr. Foxter,"
The meeting soon ended and the representatives were the first to leave the meeting room. Leah and Becca jumped up in joined.
"Oh my gosh, Davian... you were amazing. Congratulations on sealing this deal," Leah uttered while hugging him, he didn’t hug her back.
"_Ahem..." Becca feigned and Leah stopped hugging him.
"Oh, sorry. I got carried away, I was just too excited," Leah told.
"Thank you. I’ll treat everyone to dinner when I get the chance," Davian announced.
"Yay!" both ladies responded in one accord.
They left the meeting room and the company’s building. They walked to the company’s parking lot and all got into Davian’s car as they had all come here in it.
Davian drove off, "We need to start planning on this project immediately, while also preparing on the other presentations for the other meetings," Davian informed.
"Where are we going?" Leah asked, as Davian took a turn that was a different direction and wasn’t heading for the firm.
"Uhm, I’m going to go see my mom. Then we’ll head back to the firm," he replied.
His mother? Leah became and looked a little shaken. It’s been so long since she saw her.
"You girls don’t have to follow, you can just remain in the car or rather, just take a taxi-"
"No, it’s fine. I even actually miss your mom, it’s been so long since I last saw her," Becca responded, she looked at Leah who was sitting with her at the backseat.
So that Davian wouldn’t be suspicious or hear what she had to say, Becca brought out her phone and texted Leah.
~C’mon girl, you still owe Mrs Elizabeth an apology. If you want to win Davian back, first you have to win his mother over. She also really use to like you back then~
Leah glanced at Becca once she finished reading the text.
"You don’t have to come Leah," Davian told, his mother will actually be in shock if she sees her.
"No, I will come with. I want to go!" Leah responded.
