Of course, what’s wrong with her? Him liking her could also mean in a friendly way and not the way she was thinking. She shook it off.

"Please agree. We will go wherever you want," he pleaded. He knows what he had said days ago but seeing her just keeps melting his resolve.

She finally nodded in agreement and so they left the mansion.

Cia decided for them to just go to a park, even have picnic together. He agreed and made Caleb and his other men get all the things they would be needing.

After taking a walk together, they sat on a picnic mat at the park and spent every minute leisurely unknowing of the distant eyes that was fixated at them.

Logan Preston wasn’t really interested in Sentencia. He just wanted something that belonged to Fi. He would rather die than see that man happy after what he did to him.

Silvia just finished dressing up in a snow hiking attire. That’s right, today was snow hiking day...she was so excited.

"We will drive towards the hills and from there we will start hiking. Are you ready?" he asked.

"Yes," she replied at once and he chuckled.

"It will be cold," he added.

"Then I’ll just snuggle into my hubby," she replied hugging him tightly.

"Okay," he responded.

They started the journey. They drove till they got to the forest closed to the hills. The whole settlement was covered in snow, even the small town closed to it was covered in snow, it seemed to have snow heavily during the night till morning.

Davian found a perfect place to park the car, he held her hand when they were out of the car and proceeded towards the woods. It was beautiful, the tall trees had shed their leaves and the ground was covered in snow.

He stopped holding hands with her, he bent down and grabbed some snow.

"Hey, I hope it ain’t what I’m thin-" Davian hit the words out of her mouth with a snowball.

"Yes, it’s what you were thinking," he laughed. She picked up snow from the ground as well but he easily dodged it when she threw it at him. He threw more at her and she couldn’t dodge one.

"Oh, you asked for it," she stated and picked up a heap of snow in her hands. He started running, she ran after him as she threw the balls at him not giving him a breathing space.

Some touched him while some didn’t, then she ran out of snowballs.

"Had fun? Now my turn," he told and it was her turn to run. She could only dodge a few of his snow balls, she screamed and laughed when she felt the cold of each of the snowball hit her.

He didn’t pick up a refill when he ran out and instead he caught up with her and back hugged her. He pecked her cheek and he saw that her face was slowly turning pink, not only because she just blushed to his kiss but also because she was cold.

She turned her head to face his side face and she also planted a kiss at his neck.

He smiled and stopped hugging her, "That really sent out all the cold in me,"

She laughed.

Davian removed a small dagger from his boot, he had brought it along in case anything arises. He walked over to the tree in front of them. It was a large tree, probably the largest and tallest they’ve seen in the forest so far.

"What do you want to do?" Silvia asked him.

"I want to carve something," he answered.

"What?" she questioned.

"Just watch," he replied.

He began to carve their names on the tree and he enclosed it in a heart. She smiled at it, after keeping the dagger back to his boot, he held her waist drawing her closer to himself as he stared at his handiwork as well.

"Years after this, we’re going to come back here with our kids and we will both look for this tree. The tree might be dead by then or not but it will remind us of how strong our love for each other stands," he glanced at her eyes.

"Are you crying?" he asked, worried if he did or said something wrong, or was she hurt?

"Yes. You are just so sweet," she replied and hugged him. He hugged her back,

"I love you, Davian," she mumbled into the hug but he heard her loud and clear.

"I love you too," he replied sincerely with all the love he felt for her and she turned to face him.

"I love you more," she continued turning it to a challenge in split seconds with just the look in her beautiful amber eyes.

"I love you the most," he accepted her challenge.

"I love you forever," she smiled.

"I love you for eternity-"

"Same thing!" she quickly cuts him off and he chuckled.

"C’mon," he urged and so they continued.

They hiked up to the hills but didn’t go towards the mountain side. They both climbed up to the highest hill and got a good view of the landscape.

"I want to give a shout out to the world," Davian started, he turned towards her.

"I want the whole world to hear it," he turned away and placed his hands at the corner of his mouth as he screamed.

"I love you Silvia!!!!"

She laughed as he turned to face her again, she did what he did too and screamed.

"I love you so much, Davian Randell!!!!!"

He laughed too. Their voices echoed to the far ends of the landscape.

"Okay, let’s go back," he suggested as it was beginning to snow again.

"Okay. It was actually getting really kind of cold," she responded.

They started walking down the hill.

"Be careful," he expressed worriedly.

"I will-" she screamed cutting herself short as she slipped and fell. She started rolling down the hill spontaneously at a very high speed.

"Silvia!" he yelled as he ran after her as fast as he could.

She stopped rolling but she didn’t move again too. It made his heart jump out his rib cage. Fear crept into his heart the closer he got to her. Her eyes were closed.

He knelt down and grabbed her in his arms immediately.

"Silvia... Silvia? Silvia open your eyes," he pleaded desperately not wanting to believe it.

He moved his head closer to her chest to listen to her heartbeat and he felt her chest rise and fall as she chuckled. He raised his face to gaze at her.

Her eyes were wide open now as she laughed; "I’m not dead. But that was kinda embarrassing," she denoted.

His face fell, he dropped her back to the ground and stood up. His expression just cracked her up even more.

"It’s really not funny. I thought..." he trails off cutting himself short.

"Okay, sorry. Please help me up," she gave him her hand and he helped her stand up.

"Now let’s go now. Hop on," he offered her a piggy back and she didn’t hesitate to get on. Her arms wrapped around his neck and he held her legs and walked down the hill cautiously. He continued walking till they got to the car.

The snow was already pouring down heavily again, they got into the car immediately.

"Can you manage to drive in this weather?" she asked him.

"Yeah but I don’t think we can go to the light house today, we will have to look for the nearest hotel or something ," he responded and began to drive immediately before the weather gets any worse.

There weren’t many hotels in the town and only inns were readily available. Luckily before the weather worsen, they found the nearest inn. They parked the car and walked into the inn, they saw a middle aged man at the counter.

He welcomed them. They discussed and paid for a night at the inn with dinner.

They were showed to their room, the duo walked in. They both started taking off their jacket, gloves and boots. There was a large live fireplace in the room and it kept the place moderately warm.

"Let me see if I can prepare us a hot bath," Davian informed and walked into the bathroom of the room.

He came out after some while; "I already did. You first, princess. I’ll take mine right after, there are towels in the bathroom,"

She didn’t hide her pouting, she would have loved if they had taken the bath together. The corner of his lips pulled up as if he could read her thoughts right now.

She walked into the bathroom and came out soon with a towel wrapped around her body from her chest to her butt cheeks and another on her hair.

He was completely seduced at the sight of her with the steams from the bath still evaporating from her body.

"Your turn," she reminded. He nodded, it took all his self wit for him not to take her right here, right now.

He took a breath before walking towards the bathroom and when he eventually came out with a towel wrapped around his waist, she was already dressed up in a sweatshirt and sweat shorts. Luckily, they’d brought extra clothes with them because they’d predicted this might happen due to the weather report they’d watched on TV earlier.

She smiled at him, he looked really so hot and sexy right now with his damp hair, steams from the hot bath evaporated his body with beads of water still running down his body.

She had quickly got dressed on purpose after seducing him, she smirked at his expression right now. Her heart started racing in anticipation as he began to walk closer to her.

Just when they were inches apart, there was a sudden knock on their door.
