Marvel: Symbiote Spider-Man (Moved)-Chapter 30: CH 29: Saving Amazing Spider-Man’s Gwen
Chapter 30 - CH 29: Saving Amazing Spider-Man's Gwen
Blasphemy's blood boiled as he turned to see who was laughing. And when he saw his attire and that damn glider, his eyes turned bloodshot "Green Goblin." He growled through gritted teeth.
Without a single hesitation, he grabbed the police car nearby with one hand and threw it at the incoming maniac. Green Goblin was caught by surprise, but quickly maneuvered to dodge it. But as he did, he got that Marvel Rivals Wolverine special as Blasphemy pounded at him with pure rage "I'll kill you!!!"
No dialogues, no pointless chatter. Green Goblin was out for blood? So was Blasphemy. He didn't have the time to dodge this time. He got punched in the face and sent flying, but Blasphemy was hot on his tail as he stepped on his glider.
"You think you're some hot shit?! Well, lemme tell you something, Green Goblin! You ain't shit in Spider-Man's life as long as I'm around!" He punched him with each word while completely ignoring his struggles.
Goblin was trying to dodge or at least strike back, but Blasphemy wasn't having it. Tendrils came out of his sides and grabbed onto the glider and his hands while the Symbiote himself grabbed his neck, lines as red as blood stretching out from his pupils "I've had enough of you getting away with your bullshit!
I've had enough of Green Goblin and each and everyone of his variants fucking messing with Spider-Man's life! I promise you, Goblin, your bullshit plot armor ain't doing shit while I'm around!"
More tendrils grabbed Goblin's legs, making sure he was secured to the glider before Blasphemy pulled him up. He literally tore him off of his bound legs and threw him to the ground with intense might.
The tendrils enveloped the glider completely, devouring his torn off legs before shrinking and going back to Blasphemy. They hadn't crushed or destroyed the glider, no. He had stored it in his biomass. A neat trick he had learned.
By compressing things in his biomass, he could store it inside of him. After all, he could compress and store 15k people's worth of biomass in his current figure. Storing other things wasn't so far fetched. Venom could store Peter's camera and Agent Venom's weapons. So why couldn't he?
He had to somehow benefit from that wretched creature. His legs weren't enough to get his powers, so for a few minutes, his glider would do. He jumped and landed a few meters away from Goblin, who was yelling in pain.
But just as he took a few steps forward, Spider-Man landed in front of him "Whoa whoa whoa, wait! Wait! W-what are you doing?! T-this is Harry! Harry Osborn! My god, this is Harry..."
Looking at his old friend's condition, Peter was in disbelief. Even while ignoring his lack of legs, he was a complete mess. His hair was standing straight, as if he was electrocuted, and the sides of his face looked as if they were burned or had acid thrown at him.
His immense sadness at his old friend's condition was evident in his voice, even if his face couldn't be seen. But Blasphemy didn't care. He just pushed Peter aside with a livid expression "I don't care if it's Harry, Norman or anybody else in their fucking accursed family tree!
As long as I'm alive, sons of bitches like Green Goblin and Doc Ock won't be spared even a grave or a funeral! So get out of my way!"
With a flare of energy, his sword appeared in his hand again. There was no hesitation in his actions. He reeled the blade back as he reached the struggling and crawling Green Goblin on the ground.
But just as he wanted to bring it down on his heart, Spider-Man held his arms back with two web lines and a loud cry "No! You can't do this!"
Blasphemy could feel the veins pulsating on his forehead. He turned to Peter after completely restraining Goblin with the full force of his webs "I can and I will! You have no idea what you're dealing with here!
You think he's your friend, but Harry Osborn is already dead! This bastard is just his fucking corpse that will stop at nothing to make your life hell! I would know! I have seen what he has done!"
"But he's Harry!" Peter shouted back, coming face to face with Blasphemy "He's my best friend! I won't let you just kill him! He has been-"
"He kills Gwen!" He yelled, sparing Peter the long, heart wrenching speech and causing the place to go completely silent. Both Peter and Gwen froze in place. Peter's mask didn't need to be taken off for him to see his face of pure disbelief.
"W-what...?" He almost whispered. Somehow, that pissed off Blasphemy even more. He angrily pointed at Goblin, who had also turned quiet to understand what was going on "Gwen was going to be killed because of him! Because of your so-called best friend!
It's the reason I'm here! Tonight, on that clocktower! He was going to throw her off, and you weren't going to be able to save her! And instead of killing him, you just put him behind bars!
The grief of losing Gwen makes you give up being Spider-Man! But a few months later, when new and improved villains show up because of him still controlling Oscorp in prison, you come back to this fucking life again!
And it's all over again! Fight villains, get injured, get unappreciated, rest and all over again for nothing! I have seen it happen before, and believe me when I swear that I won't let it happen again as long as I'm around!"
While Peter was still processing his words, he simply turned to Goblin and brought his sword down. He heard Peter's loud cry from behind him when he got his bearings, telling him to stop. But he didn't care anymore. It was always on sight with Green Goblin.
Only a simple, weak gasp was Goblin's reaction as the sword went through his heart. Causing Peter to yell out his name in horror. But the next second, his body completely disappeared in Blasphemy's masked biomass, along with the drop of blood he had taken from Peter.

"No... Harry..." Peter looked at the position his friend was at just a minute ago in shock, sadness and disbelief. Blasphemy, on the other hand, couldn't believe how intense the sense of relief that took over his heart was.
"Stop that. He isn't worth the grief." He looked at Peter, traces of overwhelming anger still lingering on his face "Harry Osborn, yeah. I know how much he's worth to us. But Green Goblin, he isn't worth shit. Not after what he has done and would do. You would understand if you had seen the things I have."
Gwen came to his side and gently took his hand. She didn't know what to do or say. Should she apologize? But she was happy that she was the one who was alive. Even more so that an entirely different universe's Peter had come all the way to their world to stop her death. But on the other hand, she knew how much the loss of his best friend hurt him.
So she didn't say anything. All she could do was take his hand gently and hug his arm. Peter could only sigh sadly after a few seconds and squeeze her hand back. Blasphemy sighed, calmed down his expression and walked up to him "You're sad, I know. I understand.
I have a Harry Osborn of my own, and I love that asshole. But Green Goblin isn't Harry. It's just a demon. A bane of our existence. Believe me, if I hadn't killed him, he would have tormented you for years to come.
The only way to ever stop him was death. And fuck me, because even that hasn't been enough sometimes! I'm sorry for Harry's death, but it had to be done."
"I-it... haaah, it's okay. I understand." Peter sighed, taking off his mask for the first time in front of him to reveal his sad face "You're the one who travels between universes, not me. So you know better. You said it yourself, I had already lost Harry. He was going to... going to kill Gwen, and probably try and kill me later. So I understand. I hope, at least. And Gwen,"
He turned to her, making her look at him before he hugged her tightly "I... I'm so happy you're alright. If... if you were to die... I don't even know... I don't even want to imagine it..."
The two of them could easily see it. The tears that he was desperately holding back. Gwen hugged him back just as tightly, rubbing his back up and down comfortingly "It's okay, Peter. It's okay. I'm here. I'll always be here."

She felt his tears slowly, silently slide down his cheeks, against her cheek and onto her shoulder. She heard the crying hiccups that he tried to hold back and felt them shake his chest against hers. She could barely hold back her own tears from emerging at seeing him so sad.
Guilt emerged next to relief in his heart, making Blasphemy rub his neck awkwardly. He waited for Peter to calm down while feeling sad for him. Losing a friend was always hard. Seeing them turn on you even more painful.
After several minutes, Peter calmed down. He raised his head from Gwen's shoulder and wiped his tear "I-I'm sorry about that-"
"Don't be." Blasphemy interrupted him before Gwen could "It's completely understandable. I would be weirded out if you weren't feeling sad. I don't want to imagine what losing my Harry would feel like."
"Yeah. Yeah. True." Peter sniffed. Blasphemy awkwardly rubbed his neck, before sighing and walking up to him and smiling sheepishly "Consider this somewhat of an apology, I guess."
The next second, Peter and Gwen were alarmed to see a dark, almost cape-like darkness leave Blasphemy and cover all of them inside. But before they could even react, it retracted back into him. They looked around, and were shocked when they realized they were at the airport.
A trick of his Darkforce manipulation. Cloak could do it. Why couldn't he, when he could control the Darkforce itself instead of just one of its aspects?
"W-what just happened?" Gwen looked around in pure shock. Blasphemy smirked "Teleportation. Peter said you guys had a flight to catch, so I figured I'd bring you here quickly since you were in a hurry."
"You can do that?" Peter looked at him in confusion. Gwen followed suit "You sure you're Spider-Man? Spider-Man can't teleport or control electricity."
He chuckled with an amused roll of his eyes "Yes, I am Spider-Man. I just have a lot more tricks up my sleeve, that's all-"
He was interrupted by the earth suddenly shaking. No, not just the ground. Even the air seemed to shake for a moment. They were all caught by surprise before Blasphemy frowned deeply "What the hell? What's going on?"
His Spider-Sense went off, causing his eyes to widen. It had never gone off that intensely before. He quickly looked around, and soon, found the source of the danger.
A black hole was forming where they were just moments ago. Not a black hole that ate everything, but as in a hole that was literally just darkness inside. It was as if the world was unfolding from that spot, and it was growing by the second.
"...Shit."
