Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 278: For Their Little Happiness
[THE OBREN PALACE]
"Where are you taking me?" the crown prince demanded and Raqeeb slammed his head on the wall before shrugging like it was the most normal thing for people like them. It was crazy in itself but to the hybrids, this was not crazy.
In fact, this was their chance to have their master back.
They had seen Kaia in action one too many times, but for the past few months, Kaia Seto had been way too calm, and without his humanity today, this was his chance at the reality that they were facing at the moment.
"Oopsie, I thought you were muttering ways for us to kick your ass," Raqeeb said and the hybrids let out waves of laughter.
They were truly enjoying this and the fact that their elder had made them know that they were on a timer, wasn’t even making it any easier for Jungwoo. They were going to have their fun with it.
"You had questions. Well here are your answers,’’ Kaia said as he threw the crown prince into the palace torture chamber.
They had hurried here, but then it wasn’t even that far from the dungeons. And that was the beauty of it. This chamber was similar to the chamber that King Nathaniel had been fucking him up in In Drarun.
This very chamber was filled with the stench of blood and the fact that he was there meant that nothing would ever be the same for the prince anymore.
"Master, shall we?" Raqeeb asked Kaia who nodded at them excitedly lie this was the best part of his fucking day, and at his nod, the hybrids descended on the young prince with the fury of the misfits.
They came at him like they wanted to kill him, which was true but they had also been told that they wouldn’t be killing anyone today. That was a dangerous sport for them but then they had to make do with what they had been given anyway, right?
There was no telling how the fuck they had to do this in every way, no? The hybrids were cruel. They punched, kicked, strangled, and even spat on the crown prince.
They smashed his body on every wall they could and they hit him like this was the first time they were seeing their royal enemy.
They made sure to break most of the crown prince’s bones and they did it in such a manner that the prince wouldn’t be able to stand or even walk for months and months on end.
They had ruined his pretty face and what was left of the prince was just scars on scars. And they were deep ugly scars. They were very deep wounds, wounds that would ruin the beauty that was the prince.
The hybrids transformed the man from the pretty prince that Obren knew of, to a man who had no willpower, a man who had no right to even be alive, and yet a man they had been instructed to leave alive.
The magic they had was something that helped them know their limits, because otherwise, they could have killed the poor prince.
His whole life had been difficult but then he just had to murder Oshita knowing so well that there was a war between the misfits and his family.
Maybe this was his karma for betraying Raia, but damn, his karma really did have the face of angry hybrids who knew how to induce so much pain.
"Stop, he’ll die," Kaia said a few minutes later when he heard the crown prince whimpering.
Jeon Jungwoo was covered in shit, literal shit and he smelled worse than the sewer. He looked like he had been attacked by the worst of the worst which this time was true, because that was what the hybrids were.
They had broken all of his bones, and ruined him so badly. They had burned his throat with their magic to the point that it would take a while before he exhaled. He wouldn’t even be able to see his mate in that state.
And maybe, just maybe it was a good thing that Jungwoo had told his mate to leave.
He didn’t want Dong Moonbin to pay the price for the sins of his family and he also knew that Chang Wook would never forgive Jungwoo if anything happened to Dong Moonbin.
Oh, but there were so many things at play but at the moment, that just didn’t matter to Kaia and his hybrids.
"Can we get another one, master? We have a few minutes, before the clocks run out," the hybrids, and this time, Kaia didn’t hold back anything. Instead, he motioned for them to drag the young prince back to the dungeons with his family.
When they got to the sun, they found the king, his queen, and Yanna staring at each other like something had happened.
Of course, the discussion about what Kaia had mentioned earlier, was expected, but instead, as they stared at each other, weak as fuck, the only thing that could be seen and heard from them, was their heartbeats.
"Have your fun," Kaia said again and this time, he didn’t say anything about anything or anyone trying to have mercy on the other, as a matter of fact, Kaia had created a boundary, one in which one of the people in the space would ever be able to get out of.
It was the boundary that made sure that the royals and their visitor didn’t try to escape while they got their asses handed to them. It was a beautiful sight for Kaia, and even more when he told them that the ring was his.
And so the hybrids once again descended on Yanna and the queen, kicking them, and making their lives a misery. At least for the women, they had been commanded to leave them alive.
Thankfully, there were women hybrids in Raqeeb’s team and they were the ones having their fun with the two women in the room.
Kaia knew that there would be questions about why the men had beat the women up, so he figured he could try and make this a fair fight. But was it a fair fight when their asses were being handed to them?
Well, this was expected anyway.
Strangely enough, Yanna Petrova had managed to get a hit on a few of the hybrids. With her quick whaling powers, Yanna had managed to feed herself pretty well.
Queen Eunbi on the other hand, had gotten the hits, all of them.
The king was fighting Kaia, or getting his ass kicked too, but then he was trying to make it out alive well, though he didn’t need to worry about his life, because one thing Kaia was expected to do, was to bring the prisoners back home, alive.
Rania had not said anything else about their condition or anything.
"Whew, that was very much needed," Kaia said as he looked at the product of their strength and arms.
Well, they had been saved by the bell, or rather the magical alarm that Kaia had set earlier. It was his only way of telling if he was late or if he was on time and goodness was he on time.
"Our time here is up, everyone, get in line. We’re going to Incayon," Kaia said excitedly before he created a portal and they all went through, with the royal family and Yanna Petrova.
