Chapter 292: Perhaps, In Another Day

[RANIA]

"Mate," Jahiro added with conviction as he looked in the direction of the two sisters, making Han even more confused.

What manner of frenzied situation was this?

How was he even to make it make sense, especially for his brother who had not known the love of anyone other than his very own brother?

Oh, Kaisei.

"Who, brother?" Han asked hopefully though he knew that this was the trickiest situation they were in yet. There were higher chances of things getting more screwed up.

The fact that Jahiro was not even listening to him, was something else and Han felt worry creep up his spine. He had never been worried for his brother but right now, he was.

If Dalrae was mated to Kaisei Seto, then they could as well prepare for doom’s day, because those two were never supposed to be together, ever. It had to be the craziest combination that the fates had made.

However, there was a disaster waiting for the other option that was glaring at them and frankly, it was way more disturbing than the possibility of Dalrae and Kaisei together.

Well, if he compared a Rania-Kaisei bond to a Dalrae-Kaisei bond, Han Seong would without a doubt choose a Dalrae-Kaisei bond, because even though it would be an explosive one, there would still be some little humanity in between.

Rania and Kaisei were easily the most dangerous creatures. It would be like pairing Kaisei with a female version of Kaisei and that was detrimental to everyone in their society and beyond. But what if, right?

"Hiro, is Lim Lim your mate?" Han pressed on carefully as he looked at his brother then he looked at Chang Wook who had claimed Dalrae. There would be a lot of complications if that happened, especially since Chang Wook was whipped for the Incayon Beta wolf.

It would be heartbreaking, and knowing Kaisei, he wasn’t the kind of man to let go of someone he loved just because someone else was in love with them. This would be chaotic.

"Hold on, what?" Chang Wook asked as he finally tore his eyes off the women and looked at Kaisei who was staring lovingly at Rani and Dalrae.

Granted, they all knew that Rania had a mate already, so the only other person who could be mated to Kaisei, if one of the girls was it, then it would be dalrae. That was just cruel of the fates, right?

"I think my brother is mated to Dalrae," Han said carefully as he looked at Chang Wook. He wasn’t sure what else he could say, the night itself was as confusing as fuck. It wasn’t easy to explain what was going on.

Rania had killed her mother and was hugging Dalrae, who was mated to Kaisei, and Chang Wook was staring at the barbarian in shock and betrayal as he wanted to fight Kaisei for the woman he was very much in love with.

It was so complicated and he felt like his head was hurting for all that had yet to happen. There was a chance that they were overanalyzing the situation, but then this was one that involved Kaisei fucking Seto.

Of course, they could only just overthink it all at the moment.

Paloma and Han were watching anxiously with Raqeeb and the warriors who were with their jaws on the ground as they tried to process everything that had happened.

It was not easy for them to recess it all but eventually, they would have to.

But first, what the fuck, right?

"She is mine," Chang Wook growled possessively and Paloma face-palmed. This situation was getting worse and the sooner they all faced that, the sooner they could get past the chaos that was staring at them gladly.

"Oh goddess, how much do you really hate us?" Paloma asked as she looked at the dark sky. The moon had already disappeared thanks to the chaos, and it was just them in the dark chasing to trust their werewolf sights.

However, even then, it didn’t make it any better for them. Because there was still chaos in the night. Nothing could ever explain that.

"No. Mine!’’ Jahiro let out a low growl and Chang Wook prepared himself to fight the barbarian for the woman he loved. However thankfully, as Dalrae helped Rania up, Rania’s words put an end to the squabble that was there.

"I’m sorry to interrupt your beautiful bonding session, but I have broken back. A dead mother lying on me and a sister who seems determined to hug me to death.

"I know that may not be important at the moment, and with the dark and all, it doesn’t exactly sound like an encouraging venture.

"But seriously though, can we fight about everything tomorrow?" Rania said tiredly as she stared at Jahiro who was glaring at anyone and everyone.

It was like the barbarian was possessive of the sisters, but could he really be blamed? These two may have been crazier than the craziest people they had ever seen, but there was no denying that they were also the best in the business.

They were kind and loving.

They were compassionate to everyone unless the people were their enemies. The sisters were love if they wanted to.

Paloma just sighed again. There was no helping this duo really. So they just had to brace themselves and wait for what was coming. It was a tornado for sure, because there were so many blanks in their lives at the moment.

"She is mine!" Jahiro growled again and Rania looked at her sister as if to tell her that she had to put an end to all of this.

She wasn’t sure why Kaisei was claiming Dalrae but whatever the fuck that was, they were friends, and try needed to figure it out at the end of the day. Then again how did it make it any easier?

"Fine. Fine. Let’s settle this alright? Go to your mate, Lim Lim," Rania said tiredly, and Dalrae looked at her skeptically. She could see how tired and worn out Rania was and she knew that if she let Rania go, the alpha would fall, and that wasn’t the plan for Dalrae.

She couldn’t let her sister get hurt again, not on her watch anyway.

"They are grown men, let them fight it out," Dalrae said with a laugh, and Jahiro and Chang Wook looked at her like she had gone crazy.

Of course, she had. Her sister had been through hell and the men were just focused on claiming Darae. It wasn’t questionable, but well whatever this was, they needed to sort it out fast.

The crowd that had been watching just sighed in silence. They had already gotten used to the mess that was the misfits, so it wasn’t surprising them anymore.

"They might bring down Incayon if you don’t make it clear, Lim Lim," Rania fake-whispered and Dalrae rolled her eyes at her. That didn’t exactly matter as it wasn’t Dalrae’s greatest concern at the moment.

Rania was, and she would only leave if she was sure Rania would be okay. Well with the wreckage around them and the dead woman on her, Dalrae knew that her sister was nowhere near okay. But they just had to make the gamble, no?

"Fine, I will go, but on the condition that you tell us why the fuck you were running away from Incayon just hours before your birthday party," Dalrae said and Rania nodded a little too fast it was suspicious.
