Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 325: The Incayon They All Knew?
[RANIA]
What Rania had been anticipating for months was finally happening and she would be lying if she said she wasn’t excited about the madness that was about to make a show. This right here was what she had wished for and she was finally getting what she wanted.
"Are the barriers down?" Rania asked Han and her brother who both nodded eagerly, while Kai was watching with an amused yet proud face.
He knew that his woman was finally letting herself face her truth and right now, he could feel the urge that was coming from Rania. It was an intense animalistic urge, one that made him want to rush to her and kiss the living daylights out of her.
It was the urge to make them know that they belonged together, even though it wasn’t the kindest of urges. Kaia could smell Rania’s desire to spill blood and goodness that was turning him on, even though they were yet to consummate their bond.
"Yes. They should be getting through any minute now," Han said and Rania’s army stood at alert, ready to make sure to remind the wolves that there was a reason everyone had stayed away from Rania, not to mention Incayon itself.
However, in the middle of all that was the kind surprise that Kim Rania had prepared for the invaders. She knew that she was beginning to understand her abilities, but she didn’t care not anymore.
These people had spent years and years trying to hurt her and make her a mess. She was finally having the chance to show them why they shouldn’t have tried to fuck with her. They would learn the hard way and Kim Rania didn’t give two shits about it, not this time.
"They sound so rowdy," Kaia commented with a smirk on his face as they aired for the battle to reach them.
Just like what had happened in Calindra, the wolves were covered with an immortality spell and an additional spell to prevent them from shifting into their wolves no matter what the circumstances were. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
They had learned the hard way from losing Oshita; and while they could have cast a spell to make them immortal in their wolf forms, they figured it would be easier to make everything work with their army in their human forms.
At least then, they wouldn’t have to work on controlling themselves. And they would also be able to keep themselves safe for a little longer. That was more than could be said if they transitioned to their wolves, given some were stronger in their wolf forms.
"Well, this is going to be fun. I’m gladly waiting for them on this die," Rania said as she ran her tongue so casually along her lips.
She was thirsty for blood and with her abilities as the Lycan, not to mention her ability to control emotions, she was going to get whatever she wanted, come hell or high water.
"They’re here," Chang Wook said as the revolution warriors and leaders made their way through the thousand Incayon warriors.
Of course, no one from Rania’s side had been injured but then as the leaders made their way through, it was more than obvious what they were targeting.
The royals.
They had come to win the hope that they would be able to get to the Income dungeons and save their royals before shit went south.
It was a little sweet for a moment, because Kim Rania had expected this. But then it was also a reminder that hundreds and hundreds of extra warriors were never going to be enough for the people of Obren to be satisfied with the chaos that he had triggered.
"Luna Park looks fit as a fiddle. At least I didn’t kill her," Rania commented and her friends just looked between the two women, however they were not surprised. They believed that Rania would do what she wanted with her prisoners of war and yet her principles had never changed.
However, as the luna, the vampire king, the vampire enforcer, the warlocks for the Valley of the Whites and other warriors came at them, they knew that lives would be changed, but not theirs.
They knew that this was the war that no one would forget, but then wasn’t that the intent of the damn war?
In anticipation, the Incayon alpha watched with excitement as her people slayed the warriors that had come with the resolution. They were merciless in their slaying and were as cruel as they could be.
The misfits were waiting for the war to reach them and it sure did, after a few minutes, thanks to the leaders. But then there was always more, because as the pack leaders, King Nathaniel and the other leaders made it to where Rania was waiting for them, they instantly paused.
They had expected a lot, but the sight that met them hadn’t been it.
They had seen the world come apart on many occasions but in that moment, as they watched, they realized that there was never going to be a day when they would be able to get their home back, not until Kim Rania was forgiving.
But that was a long prayer.
"Hello Octavia," Rania greeted the Calindra luna who was currently covered in blood. She looked like she had had a rough morning and while the sun wasn’t even up, she had bags under her eyes and she looked fatigued as hell.
She had clearly not had the best time waddling through the warmth of her dead warriors who had been ruthlessly slain by the Incayon warriors. It was an insane act. But then when was there anything normal wherever Kim Rania was anyway?
"Damn, Nate and Bai. you guys look good. From the smirks on your faces, I’m assuming you haven’t contacted home, yet, right?" Kaia said and the misfits let out dark chuckles before they started making gory references that King Nathaniel was sure were false.
However, was there a reason for the misfits, who had nothing left to lose, to be playing with them? The misfits were easily bored and unless they had missions beyond home, they always made it their mission to not forget everything except themselves.
"Who the hell are those?" Brent asked as he looked at the high warlock. He was proud that he had been invited to the battle in which the Seto brothers were in but what he didn’t understand was that no one from the side of the misfits would be losing anyone.
They may have been a smaller army compared to the army of revolutionaries, but that didn’t matter, because the warriors from Rania’s side had everything that they needed to win the war. Literally everything.
"Who is this?" Rania asked with a bored face like she didn’t know Brent as one of the dirtiest warlocks whose reputation precedes.
It was like she was seeking something and she just didn’t care what the hell happened, no matter what situation they were about to face. That in itself was crazy on so many fronts.
"A wannabe warlock," Han Seong responded with a bored tone, and Brent and the twenty warriors instinctively stepped back. They knew what it meant to go against the high warlock, but was this right here, ever going to be worth it?
"As for your answer, Brent, those are our prisoners. The ones you came to free. They look beautiful with the noose on their necks, right?"
