Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 338: Well Then, Let’s Play A Fair Game
[RANIA]
"I think we can do them one better and let them watch while we take out their entire battalion. They came with many wolves and vampires and yet there’s less than a quarter of the original team left.
"Funny how it has been barely six hours of war. They are not making this any fun, don’t you think?" Kaia said and Rania nodded in agreement.
They had expected a lot from a team that had been so proud of coming here and rebelling and instead, the only thing they got were the scraps left of a love that wouldn’t have blossomed.
The truth was something that had fucked them over and as they watched the Incayon warriors saly the revolution warrior,s they knew that this was a kind of hell that the realm would never recover from.
At the same time, this was a very polite reminder that everyone needed to keep their distance and make sure to steer clear of Incayon or even the Obren affairs. There wasn’t much to be considered because none of them was ever going to leave alive. But what if?
"Best idea ever," Han Seong said before he placed a table before them, a banquet that had seats and good food, as they watched the Invasion warriors slay their enemies.
This was the most brutal of all wars and the fact that they were making sure that everyone died, was something they did to no one. And so for the next seven hours, the misfits watched as their army cleared the Incayon of the warriors who had dared to make a move against them.
They watched in awe as their warriors stepped on the others, as they broke nobes and ripped hearts out of chests. They watched as their warriors were so brutal with the remaining thousand warriors, as they dismembered them one by one, making sure to take their sweet time.
At some point, they all got hungry and the hybrids decided to make a feast from the bodies of the wolves who had fallen and even those who had yet to fall. It was something out of their expectation, but as usual, no one expected Incayon to be a party hall for them right?
"With this high success rate, our warriors will probably not meet for a week or so," Odelia had commented as they watched the worst of the worst happen before them.
When the warriors felt a little weak, the Seto brothers and the warrior healer gladly donated their strength to the cause they were up to. It was like this was the longest of all the battles, with the only difference being that the revolutionaries were tired and their enemies were stronger than usual.
They were enjoying the slaying and the torture.
The rules had been clear for everyone who came against Incayon.
Incayon was never going to be taking prisoners, that much was guaranteed. They had enough jails and dungeons, but they didn’t have the time to persecute the wrongdoers, so they figured they could as well take them out and later burn them.
"Oh goddess, what have we done," the werewolf King asked himself as he watched his dead wolves being burnt to ashes and the wind blew the ashes away like they weren’t even meant to be there in the first place.
The King had seen an army of nearly ten thousand be murdered in cold blood and he hadn’t been able to do anything about it. It was a shocking realization that broke the hearts of many of the alphas who had come, as they went into cardiac arrest.
Rania and her team didn’t even bother to check on the alphas.
If the alphas wanted to die, then they could as well do it here because once everything was done, there was no going back.
There would be a lot of unrest among their people back home who would definitely want an explanation as to why their friends and families never made it back home.
Especially when they had gone to war against one woman and a pack that was nothing compared to the army that they had come with. It would be an impossible bargain, but what else could they do with the information?
Shit was happening and real fast. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
This also meant that they needed to come to terms with the fact that this was what Obren had been reduced to. It didn’t matter that everything was a mess. The only thing that really mattered was that they would find a central ground to all this.
Perhaps it would make explaining the mess easier, but would it?
"You brought us here but you never told us what you wanted with us. What is your interest in this? All of this? What is the point of the massacre, why are you doing this?" the werewolf King asked as he looked at Rania.
He knew that she was the leader of this cruelty and no matter how many powers were here, she would always be the one with the final say. That was something they had learned the hard way already.
For a day through the night they watched as their warriors suffered and yet they had been unable to do anything.
They had realized secrets that had never even been thought possible.
The werewolf King could hear Daehyun’s heartbeats slowing down, like the Calindra beta was giving up on life. It wasn’t a pretty sight and with Yanna in the same state, the King knew he had to stand up for his people.
He could deal with his wife’s betrayal later.
He could deal with his wife’s daughter later and the secrets he had just learned later.
Seojoon knew what Rania was doing and it was making them suffer even more, because instead of the misfits being divided, they had ended up being the ones divided, and that in itself didn’t spell any assurance of any kind.
It only made them worry even more because there was no telling what the hell Kim Rania had in store for them.
"Easy there, wolfie, we still have a lot of time to talk about you and whatever the fuck you think you’re suggesting. Right now we’re quite busy watching our warriors torture your warriors for fun.
"It looks so damn pretty, you might as well ask for popcorn to make this a lot better, don’t you think?" Chang Wook said and the werewolf King sighed.
He knew that Chang Wook hated him and he knew that forgiveness was not an option, but then he wasn’t sure why Rania had brought all of them here which made him worry even more. Perhaps this way some joint operation? It didn’t seem like it.
The torture methods were clearly Kim Rainia’s because Chang Wook’s torture methods were those that made the goddess beg for mercy on behalf of the tortured.
"I see. While we are at it, why didn’t you tell your sister over there that you are the firstborn son of the Kim family, huh?
"Might as well enjoy together as an actual family, not this warrior healer best friend shit you’re pulling yeah?" the werewolf King said and that’s all it took for Chang Wook to throw his sword a little too close to King Seojoon’s heart, shutting him up instantly.
