Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 345: Don’t Throw Her Back Into The Chaos
[RANIA]
"You have the invisible string of truth around me, Chihiro. We both know I’m telling the truth and that this man here, is actually Benita, the devious of all the warlocks of the old times," Alpha Kim said nonchalantly as he looked into the eyes of the wild Lycan who was holding him by the neck choking the life out of him.
Strangely enough, that didn’t seem to faze the alpha, because he had other things to think of at the moment. Perhaps there was foreign to be a way out for him, right?
"Benita died of old age," Kaia tried to reason, though the longer he thought about it, it sounded unrealistic.
Benita was one of the old witches who knew the magic of the old times. It was always a habit in the old times to cast spells that made them live longer than they were supposed to.
"Did she?" Alpha Kim asked as he pointed towards Brent who was suddenly growing long hair and his features were shifting from masculine to feminine.
Rania couldn’t believe what was happening and before anyone could process anything, Kaia chopped off Benita’s head, before burying her body with the King of fire that would reduce the woman to ashes.
This woman was the worst Chapter of his brother’s life and he wasn’t going to let Haru interact with the woman again. He had promised he would take care of everything, and he was going to do just that.
"Ah!" Rania shrieked when she felt the blood on her face. She was used to having blood around her but this was something that she hadn’t expected.
For a moment she thought it was her father’s blood, making her freeze in the moment. She had a lot of thoughts running in her head even as she looked at Kaisei and the sword in his arms.
She looked at the man she was supposed to love, took out the only other family she had and Rania couldn’t think straight.
So instinctively, she stepped back as if to pull away from Kaia. She hadn’t imagined that she would see her father dead, however shitty the man had been.
Unlike her mother whose death, Rania hadn’t planned for, Rania wasn’t sure she was ready to face the world without the idea of family. She loved her father and he’d be damned; she would go to war for him, not that she would ever tell him, but damn.
"P– Papa?" Rania called out defeated as her eyes began swelling with tears.
She had never thought that this would be possible and now she could feel her heart clenching. She was being forced to bend the knee to the very man who was meant to love her. How the fuck was this even supposed to happen?
"She’s going into shock, Chihiro. Fuck it, come snap her out of this before she comes up against you, because I promise you she will without a doubt use the mate bond against you and that is the one thing that even you are weak against," Alpha Kim said to Kaia as he watched his daughter panic.
He knew he could snap Rania out of it, but he couldn’t do that, because he couldn’t be seen caring for the daughter he had owned. He had never been one to listen to his own child and he wasn’t about to start today.
He was going to keep at his act and wait this out like it should have been.
"What do I do? You should be the one to help her! Man, she thinks I fucking killed you, what the fuck? Why the fuck would I even do that?" Kaia asked frustratedly as he looked at the love of his life fade into the background.
He could see her fight her demons alone and this time, park Jihoon let out a growl. He didn’t care that he was just a prisoner, what mattered to him was that Rania was okay, which was weird because he had been the one to reject the damn fucking bonds.
Why the fuck did everything have to be this complicated between them?
"If you can’t get to her, get me off of this thing dammit," Jihoon said angrily as he watched his crush lump in her father’s arms.
If Alpha Kim hadn’t cast her out, he would have been able to feel the bond that every father had with their child. and now even though Rania was in alpha Kim’s arms there was nothing that he could do to comfort the child he had broken.
"Bold of you to think I would let you anywhere near my mate," Kaia said possessively and Jihoon sighed. This barbarian isn’t really getting it, is he?
"If I wanted her, I couldn’t have let her go so she could be happy and protected beside you, you psycho fuck. Get me out of this or find a way to bring Dalrae here.
"Because trust me, if she goes into shock even more while thinking you killed her father, she will wage a war against you., and not even your immortality would be able to save you. I know her and you have two options.
"If you don’t trust me, then call Dalrae!’’ Jihoon screamed at Kaia, making his own mother stare at him like had gone bonkers.
He was willing to risk his life for the woman who had them hanging on nooses like they were criminals of war and yet he was still worried about her. What the fuck was this even supposed to mean for her and her son?
Oh, but Luna Park just didn’t understand anything when it came to the two. It was like they were apart and yet they were closer. There was more to this but even she didn’t have the energy to preach positivity into it.
Hell, she couldn’t even make a comment, because Kaia had promised to kill anyone who said shit about Rania. Luna Park didn’t exactly have the butterflies to say about Kim Rania.
She despised the woman for unconditional love for her son to the point that even though shit had already gone down, Jihoon was still worried for the woman she would clearly never have.
"Fine, but if you shout at me again, I will have your lung," Kaia wanted and Jihoon wasn’t even bothered by it.
"You can incinerate my whole body, just make sure Rania doesn’t think you betrayed her, because it would defeat the purpose of me leaving her in your arms, you barbarian.
"You were supposed to protect her and you can, but there is no way you will be able to do that if she thinks you’re her enemy. The woman already has enough trust issues that you didn’t need to feed into. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
"Will you call Dalrae or do I have to do that too in my own way?" Jihoon asked and Kaia raised a brow at the statement.
It was a bold one, especially the last bit, almost like Jihoon knew a way of reaching the woman.
Of course, he did, but then it wasn’t like he was going to unlock another Pandora when they were offering, they put the smoky dawn and the unbearable stench of the burning bloodied bodies.
"Fine, she’s coming," Kaia said and Jihoon relaxed, though he was silently praying hoping that everything would be fine with Rania. He couldn’t stand the woman being in any more pain than she already was.
He just couldn’t.
