Mated To My Stepbrother-Chapter 22
TIM’S POV.
I walked up to her that morning, holding two BTS concert tickets. I knew they were her favorite artists as I’ve heard her listen to their songs countless times, making me a fan of their music as well. "Luck shine on me," I whispered, making my way towards her, adjusting my glasses.
"Hey Aria," I called, as she stood beside her locker.
I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful she was, putting on a tight mini skirt and crop top. She made her pretty red hair into a pony tail, making her look fierce and beautiful, just how I liked my women.
"Hey Tim," she replied, looking towards my direction.
Her voice sounded in my ears like a gentle breeze, passing through a field of roses. I was lost for a moment, thinking, "how awesome it will be to hear this voice every morning, beside me."
"I was wondering if you’ll be free this weekend, there will be a BTS concert and I have gotten two front row concert tickets for the show, would you like to come along?" I asked with a cheerful voice.
She seemed to process what I said as her face lit up, excitedly. "Oh my god!" She screamed. "I thought getting those tickets were extremely difficult," she replied with surprise visible on her face.
I replied in the affirmative that they were indeed difficult to get, claiming luck shined on me. I knew I didn’t stress myself to get those tickets, just a call did the trick.
My heart leapt for joy as she agreed to go with me to the concert, "this is definitely my chance to confess my feelings for her," I thought.
I had tried to get her attention, countless times but it seemed she did not want anyone else in her heart except Jaxon.
"What about Mary?" She asked, disappointed, "she would be sad if She found out." She sighed.
Suddenly, Mary appeared, interrupting our conversation, "disappointed with what? She asked inquisitively.
She screamed in excitement at first, but later became sad as she heard she wouldn’t be able to join us.
I was getting annoyed with the way everything was going but tried my best to conceal it. Aria offered to give her her own tickets but I Couldn’t allow it, knowing my plans would be ruined.
"Um, that would not be necessary , I’ll just try to get another so that we can all go together," I replied, comforting her. "I’ll see you guys later," I announced, waving goodbye as I walked towards my class.
I became heartbroken, knowing my plans might not pull their since we would be having a third wheel on our carriage. Then, an idea dropped into my head. "Why not tell Mary your plans, getting her to help you or you could make a surprise performance happen, confessing your feelings to her before the whole world.
I smiled broadly, reasoning different ways it could go about.
I picked up my phone and made a call, "Dray," I said, can you make a performance with the BTS band happen during their concert?" I asked, "ok, get it done immediately," I ordered, disconnecting the call.
"Shit!" I exclaimed, remembering something I should have told her. I ran back to her locker hoping to meet her there. I saw she and Mary, walking to their classroom and almost called her when I overheard their discussion.
"We had sex later at night though, almost got caught again." Aria said, as goosebumps appeared on her skin.
"Oh my god Aria, what are you getting yourself into?" Mary spoke, almost freaking out. "I understand you love Jaxon and you have fallen for his charms, but I want you to always remember that he is now your brother." She said with a concerned look.
My heart failed me as I heard the conversation that transpired between them. I felt angry and sad, as the hate I developed for Jaxon intensified within me. I turned back, feeling dejected and hopeless as I walked outside, shedding tears silently.
Jaxon’s POV.
After yesterdays night ordeal, I fell even more In love with Aria, thinking about her every passing second. I sat down on my chair, waiting patiently for her to get into the class.
After a while, she came in with Mary. I couldn’t help but stare at the beauty of the goddess like figure, that stood before me. Her strawberry scent was as beautiful as her face, filling my nostrils, making my thoughts go wild.
"Good morning," she greeted with a smile, taking her seat beside me.
"If you were nothing, I’ll stay idle daily, doing you, good morning my sunshine," I wrote in a small piece of paper, passing it to her secretly.
I saw her cheeks turn red within seconds before fading away as she blushed, folding the paper neatly, tucking it away in her bag.
"Lies," she replied on another piece of paper, smiling broadly like someone who had won a lottery.
I couldn’t make out anything in the science class we had that morning as all my attention was focused upon her.
"Let’s have lunch together," I asked her after the class.
"I would have loved to but I have important plans, I’m sorry," she apologized. Packing her books.
"More important than me?" I asked, holding her hands, almost bringing her closer to me for a kiss.
"Stop Jaxon," she replied shyly, taking my hands off hers, "everyone is looking at us you know," she whispered.
"Let them look." I uttered with a chuckle, taking notice of everyone in the class, casting occasional glances at us.
"We’ll see some other time, I promise, but Kenzie and I have plans together for lunch," She replied, placing one hand on her chest while the other held her bag.
"Alright," I sighed giving up, moving towards my friendswho stood at the rear of the class, waiting for me. "Yesterday night was great Aria, looking forward to next time," I winked, noticing the look of shock on her face, as I left the now noisy classroom.
