Odin's pursuit got him to land on planet Cafu, a planet which was predominantly made up of a sub-human species where the evolved humans had not completely gotten rid of their tails yet and had a small protrusion coming out of their rear. 𝓯𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒘𝒆𝒃𝓷𝙤𝒗𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝙤𝙢

It was a mostly agriculture based society where most humans still lived in small village type settings and had observed minimal contact with the rest of the universe.

Since they were not part of the controlled universe and could not play Sigma, the majority of the population believed that the few tier6 and higher beings that had visited the planet were true gods and the cults and beliefs of such gods could be seen evident on the planet as almost every region believed in a different god.

Since the visiting god's so far had mostly been the ones from the dark faction who had been hiding as criminals, the beliefs of the religious order could be considered shady at best as human sacrifices and offering virgin blood seemed a big part of appeasing god's.

Odin who witnessed all this shook his head from side to side as he stealthily entered a temple of the spider god where the trail of the destructive energy ended.

Since the planet that was destroyed before belonged to the archaic spiders, Odin believed that the criminal would most likely be a tier6 spider god who would have chanced upon the seed of destruction and would be suffering from the backlash of its power.

Maybe, Cafu was one of his strongholds and he had descended upon it to recuperate and regain his strength, however, Odin would never let that happen.

The temple of the spider god was made in a weird pyramid shape and was guarded by at least tens of thousands of warriors and just by listening to their murmurs, Odin realised that everyone was excited and happy as it seemed like their god had returned.

As a tier8 monarch, Odin was stealthy enough to not be detected by mortals as despite the tight security, he breezed through the entire pyramid without being detected as he reached the central chamber where the god resided without much trouble.

" Whose there? Who dares disrupt my rest?" A feminine voice said as the guards outside her room felt puzzled as to why their god suddenly began shouting slurs, however, they then felt two tight chops on their neck, knocking them out unconscious as Odin strolled into the god's chamber without facing any resistance.

Odin expected to see an ugly spider woman with six eyes and sharp fangs staring at him, however, that was not really the case at all.

The woman inside the chamber had arguably the best facial features that Odin had seen in a while and judging by her upper body alone, she could easily be considered better looking than Beniogre.

She did have four eyes, however, they were symmetrical and beautiful, however, her lower half was that of a spider which made her overall appearance still look monstrous.

" Don't fight me girl, I'm way more powerful than you are and I'm not here to hurt you.

I want the seed of power that you have claimed for yourself and nothing else.

Give it up and live

Or I'll take it from your corpse" Odin said calmly as he gave his opponent a chance to surrender.

" Like hell I would!" The woman complained as she shot acidic spider webs towards Odin, but such low level tricks were never going to injure the soulmancer.

He flicked off the poison as if it did not even sting his body as he did not even lose a single point in HP.

" Please, I have full poison immunity" Odin said as he gave the woman in front of him a bored look and a last chance to still surrender.

" Fuck, fuck, fuck FUCK FUCK!" the woman started cursing as she appeared to have a mental breakdown which was most likely due to the corrupting influence from the seed.

" DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO TAKE MY PRECIOUS" She screamed as she used the power of the seed of destruction to send out a beam of destruction towards Odin who cast a barrier defence spell in response.

[ Absolute Wall ]

Odin said as he cast a tier6 defensive spell, however, to his absolute surprise the wall crumbled instantly after coming in contact with the destructive beam as the attack carried over and hit him square on his chest.

Odin lost a HUGE chunk of his HP pool as a slight attack by the destructive energy felt to him like he had experienced a cellular level death of his cells all across his body.

However, while the attack was bad for him, it was even worse for the caster whose body began to disintegrate from trying to control a power that she did not fully understand.

"How? This much strength should have been enough to kill the entire planet" she said right before her body turned to Ash and she died a horrific death as perched upon her ashes was a glowing purple seed which Odin recognised as the seed of destruction.

This seed was much larger than any of the seeds that Odin had ever saw before as instead of being a pea sized object it was rather the size of a finger and looked like an incredible jewel.

" Lord merciful! Lord merciful!" Odin heard the call of the humans who were approaching the room fast as he decided to clutch the seed and run as although he had killed the tier6 god, he did not wish to slaughter her fanatic believers too.

He knew that the second he came in contact with the seed it's power would begin to corrupt him, however, he did not expect that just touching the seed would make him start seeing hallucinations as for a second he completely lost his sense of direction and his memories, becoming a blank slate who forgot who he even was.

'NO' He heard a cry from his soul as his memories and sense of direction returned allowing him to escape the planet, however, this small encounter was enough for Odin to conclude that this seed of destruction was not an object that could be allowed to freely exist in the universe.

A casual attack using the seed by a tier6 opponent caused Odin to lose over 60% of his HP which meant that if a monarch used it they could even kill Max.

The corruptive effects aside, just from the power of the seed alone, it was too dangerous to be allowed to freely exist and hence Odin decided to entrust it to Max as soon as possible.
