"What the hell happened?" Hecate's crimson eyes widened, tears slowly dripping through her pale skin. The presence of her master had disappeared from the world.

It was as though she had... ๐‘“๐˜ณ๐‘’๐‘’๐“Œ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฏโ„ด๐‘ฃ๐˜ฆ๐‘™.๐˜ค๐‘œ๐‘š

Died.

Damien stood beside the crimson-haired vampire, his frown deepening. Becoming wealthier brought him satisfaction, but the reality would soon dash his hopes.

"Her aether background wouldn't disappear so quick if she had died. The aether fluctations left behind by the Sixth Paragon lasted over a month before SIGIL cleansed it."

He muttered under his breath, calming his partner down. "It seems that the boss has been sealed by the progenitor. Damn it, we should have expected this."

His sable-tinted gaze turned towards the crimson-haired vampire. She was the proof that powerful beings could be sealed one way or the other.

No matter how strong someone was.

There was always that nonsense the world could conjure to make them powerless in the weight of reality. Regardless, what they needed to do was simple.

They must find out how Miss Alastair was sealed and discover where or what she was sealed upon.

A gorgeous lady appeared beside them, her cold sapphire-like eyes piercing through the golden-tinted glasses hugging her face. It was none other than the Rogue Blade, Francine Espada.

"The situation has escalated beyond measure."

"The strongest of humanity has been sealed."

Francine spoke with calm, but surging wrath hid beneath the soothing surface of gentleness. She wanted to rush towards the Clan and destroy those who dared to seal her partner.

But as a responsible senior and the Second-In-Command of Block 7. She must ensure that what they had built does not sink into the abyss of collapse.

"Should we head deeper?"

"Most of the True Bloods should have been eliminated by now."

"This is the only time when they are at their weakest."

"If given time, more True Bloods would sprout from the Clan and the balance of power would tip towards the vampire."

Damien suggested, but noticed his seniors' hesitant expression. He understood why she hesitated to act. After all, this was a moment of upheaval.

By the protocol of SIGIL, they would have to return to the Federation and have a meeting with Paragons to discuss what to do. The same happened when the Sixth Paragon died.

"It's not like we are fighting alone to begin with."

"The rest will follow."

"With my army leading the charge, I can take most of the brunt without a problem."

Damien stated further, cementing his thoughts for those around him. He wanted to make the Clan pay for what they had done.

There was no way they could seal the strongest of humanity without paying more than losing their entire deck of True Bloods.

After all, True Bloods were replaceable as long as the progenitor was alive. There could only be one strongest of humanity.

The only person standing at the summit of humankind. Unrivalled, undeterred, and unbothered by anyone or anything.

Hecate stood beside the towering body of Damien and nodded in agreement. Her crimson eyes gazed upon her senior as she spoke. "Those bastards must pay, senior."

"We can't let the master be sealed without hitting the progenitor back and blue." Bloodlust permeated from her body. She was excited to return to the Clan.

Especially destroying every figment that had tortured the entirety of her childhood. It was personal when talking against the Clan.

After all, Hecate had bad blood with those bastards. Such hatred couldn't merely disappear through time. She wasn't the type to forget.

Understanding the plight of her two juniors, Francine sighed to herself. Yet within her heart, she couldn't help but be proud and relieved.

Of all the people within Block 7, she was the one who wanted to rush into the Clan and rescue her partner. She could barely stop herself from ignoring a fraction of the truth.

"I understand your feelings."

"As a member of Block 7, I cannot completely control what my juniors want to do."

"Damien... Cause as much chaos as you want."

"Hecate, follow me. The fallout from the event would be catastrophic. Who knows what kind of snakes would start popping throughout the Federation?"

Francine started issuing commands, to which the two accepted. Hecate pouted since she wanted to help her partner bother the Clan. However, she understood the importance of the Federation to Block 7.

With this in mind, she calmed herself and sided with her senior.

Damien nodded in understanding and remarked. "If something happens in the Federation, don't hesitate to call me. I'll return at a moment's notice."

He advised the two since no one knew how the Paragons would react. There was also CORE, which would gain the most from the Federation losing the Seventh Paragon.

No one could shoulder the weight of humanity's hope and dreams. To stand against all odds and defy the world for humankind. There was only one.

Hecate and Francine nodded in agreement before returning to the Forward-Operating Base. Damien stood behind them, his back facing the black storms of the Clan.

As the two took their leave, a gorgeous ghost lady materialized. She bowed with ethereal grace and opened her supple crimson lips.

"We are ready for your commands, Lord Oberon."

When Hecate and Francine returned to the Forward-Operating Base, they reported what had happened. None of them even bothered to hide it. But there was no use in concealing the truth.

After all, everyone was bound to notice the cascading waves that would follow the disappearance of humanity's strongest.

The Second-In-Command of the Third Division felt his hopes shatter. While the destruction of the True Bloods was a piece of news worth celebrating.

Having their strongest sealed while the progenitor of the Clan roams the New World wasn't good for the Federation and humanity.

"Is there nothing we can do about it?" He questioned Francine, who sighed to herself and responded. "The Block 7 will handle whatever consequences the disappearance of the Seventh Paragon materializes."

"It is a weight we are willing to carry."

"Until the strongest of humanity can be unsealed."

Hearing her words, the Second-In-Command of the Third Division finally calmed down. His gaze hardened, determination and resolve pervading his heart.

There was only one thing that Block 3 needed to do. That was protect the southern frontier and the greater Federation from incursions.

"I understand. Block 3 shall stand with the Seventh Division in the far future." The Second-In-Commander understood what was to come.

Especially when snakes hid beneath the Federation, waiting for one of the best opportunities in the New World. It had finally come for them.

Francine nodded, appreciating the stance of the Second-In-Command. The more of SIGIL stood beside them, the easier handling the consequence would become.

She merely hoped that using force would be avoided. Otherwise, she would be forced to be brutal and pummel those who were disobedient into the floor.

"We can only hope for the better." She glanced in the direction where they left Damien behind. He would be vital to the future of humankind.

On the other hand, Damien stood amidst the desolate landscape. Yuki was beside him, ready to serve her master to her utmost capabilities.

"The Clan made me angry, Yuki."

"I'd like to ask a question... This is the first for me. So, what should I do to those who dare do so?" He glanced at her, asking a question that would define his path to the future.

"They must pay the cost of their arrogance. For angering the Lord of Monsters, the army shall trample upon their land, people, culture, and society."

"We are the weapons of Lord Oberon. To be wielded as he desires. To mold the word into his image."

Yuki's soothing voice echoed throughout the desolate landscape as the bluish glow of the status display reflected from Damien's face.
