Duke August stood in the towering iron walls of the capital, gazing at the descent of what he could only consider a goddess incarnate. She was beautiful, her body sculpted by the heavens and the earth.

Strands of her pitch-black hair danced with the cold breeze as her empty and calm gaze fell upon the mortals beneath the parting skies.

Her words were a decree upon reality, and the covenant was taking its effect. Every second, ten vampires succumb to death.

What were supposed to be immortal beings, untouched by time, felt death creeping closer for the first time. It wasn't in the hands of their greatest enemies, but reality setting in upon them.

Duke August glanced at the capital and felt a brilliant flash from behind. A thunderous blast followed as he covered his eyes from the blinding light with his arms.

"What the-" The looming tower of the Gothic castle collapsed, descending upon the throne hall like the divine hammer of the gods. In mere moments, chaos pervaded the capital.

He realized that it was the work of cultists, who had been terrorizing the capital since the beginning of the battle. Never did he expect that they would have the guts to target the throne.

"Have they gone mad?" He gritted his teeth and was about to support his senior, but the True Blood halted himself. After all, the true adversary was in front of him.

Duke August wasn't confident in fighting against the gorgeous lady in front of him. She emanated oppression that surpassed True Bloods and Paragons.

If he wasn't careful, he would meet the same fate as the others. It wasn't time yet, the Clan was in a state of disarray with adversaries besieging from different sides.

Clenching his fist, he prepared for the confrontation.

Yuki continued looking down upon the True Blood and decided that it was time to cause more chaos in the capital. It also seems that the great lord has taken an interest in the cultist.

Those who worshiped him should be protected, for they were his believers. Willing to bring divine intervention, she utilized her authority over life.

Womb of Origin. It was capable of transforming those under its influence and altering others into the image of the great lord. A powerful ability.

"I shall give you my blessings," Yuki muttered under her breath, her voice gentle and maternal. The cultist in the capital, busy escaping the wrath of Duke November, felt the presence of their great lord's apostle.

They stopped running and kneeled simultaneously.

The True Blood pursuing them was astounded despite being annoyed by two unknown creatures that appeared out of nowhere.

Duke November felt a sense of dread as the kneeling cultist transformed. They had become stronger, perhaps rivalling the elites of the United Defense Army. It wasn't merely a hunt anymore.

The war had begun.

Realizing the troublesome circumstance, chaos permeated throughout the capital evermore. The United Defense Army, dispatching the cultist, found themselves overwhelmed.

It would only be a matter of time until they were defeated.

Throughout the capital, streets burned asunder as transformed cultists ravaged the cityscape. The elites of the United Defense Army fought back, but they were being pushed back towards the center of the capital.

Duke November assisted as much as he could, but realized that he wouldn't be able to handle the transformed cultists by utilizing his Microcosm.

He gritted his annoyance and decided to change his attention towards the gorgeous lady levitating in front of his junior. She resembled a goddess, but there was no trace of admiration in his heart.

There could only be one god in the New World, and that would be the Vampire Progenitor.

Appearing beside Duke August, he glanced at his junior and questioned. "Who is this? Another monster like the Leviathan?"

Duke August shook his head and replied. "She's much stronger than the monstrous abomination. Perhaps, she is the culprit and master of the besieging monsters."

"No, the master should be that young Aberrant Damien of the Seventh Division. This is merely another monster under his control." Duke November denied the proposition.

Their intelligence had already confirmed the involvement of the young Aberrant. He had become much stronger than ever before, becoming one of the pillars in the Seventh Division.

"I see... How should we fight her? I have some information about her power, but I'd rather not fight based on theoretical conjectures." Duke August muttered under his breath.

"You don't need to fight." Before Duke November could utter a response, the progenitor finally stepped out of the Gothic castle. His arrival straightened the backs of the True Bloods.

The dread in their hearts seemed to have been cleansed away.

"I will handle the woman. Handle the cultists causing chaos in the capital." The Vampire Progenitor commanded as he appeared behind the two True Bloods.

Yuki gazed upon the progenitor, her lips curling into a soothing smile. "You must be the pagan master of the Clan. Offending the great lord, you sure are foolish and blind."

Hearing her calm insults, Duke August and Duke November frowned, wanting to confront her. But the Vampire Progenitor merely glanced at them, halting them from taking action.

He had already given his orders; do they dare to deny it?

Understanding his crimson gaze, the two True Bloods backed down and bowed towards the progenitor before becoming blurs.

"I didn't expect that young Aberrant to be capable of wielding a being like you, but you're not at my level yet. Your master should have bided his time instead."

"I'll exterminate your body and soul, ensuring that a threat would be nipped from the roots." The Vampire Progenitor glared at Yuki, who remained unbothered by the oppression permeating from him.

"Quite arrogant words for someone so weak. Besides, I am not the strongest amongst the apostles under the great lord's command."

"I am merely a humble subordinate," She smiled at the progenitor, looking down upon the power he wielded for over a millennium.

The Vampire Progenitor furrowed his eyebrows and clicked his tongue, performing his battle stance. It hasn't been long since he sealed the White Devil. To think there would be another challenger to his reign.

Meanwhile...

Damien stood beyond the horizon, observing the chaos of the capital through his Omniscient Soveriegnty. The cultists were indeed capable of bringing Terror.

It wouldn't be bad to have them under his wings. After all, more assets were better than none. Power wielded should never have limits.

The dangers of the New World didn't end with the Vampire Progenitor of the Clan. There were many more outside of the New World, beyond the oceans that divided them.

"But it seems that Yuki attracted the attention of the progenitor much faster than I expected. I should thank the cultists for that. Collapsing the tower of that Gothic castle. They got guts."

Damien chuckled, recalling the moment when the looming tower collapsed over the throne hall of the Gothic castle. It must have bothered the progenitor.

"At any rate, once again, my Terror Points have grown. It's about time to start evolving other summoned monsters. This should be enough to turn most of them into Three-Star Monsters."

Damien glanced at his status display, which hovered before his perception. Its bluish hue reflected from his face as the number of Terror Points grew even further.

It was a welcome sight for he didn't underestimate the cost of evolving monsters into Four-Stars.
