"But it is far from enough." Damien furrowed his eyebrows, realizing that he needed to augment ten monsters to evolve all of them into Four-Stars. It wouldn't be a problem if he merely needed to advance one rank.

Unfortunately, most of the monsters were Two-Stars with some even holding the rank of One-Star. It meant one thing. His Terror Points weren't enough. An unfortunate outcome, but expected nonetheless.

"At least 50,000 Terror Points, huh?" he muttered to himself, gazing at the hovering digital screen of his status display. Its bluish hue reflected from his face as he changed his attention to somewhere else.

"I would love to wait until it reaches half a hundred thousand, but this isn't the right time. Yuki has finally made contact with the Vampire Progenitor." Damien frowned.

He utilized his Omniscient Sovereignty and saw the progenitor confronting one of his vital intelligent monsters. The capabilities of the old bastard weren't to be underestimated.

The Vampire Progenitor was merely below the strongest of humanity in strength. In simpler terms, now that Alastair had been sealed. The old bastard practically became the strongest in the New World.

Sadly for him, however. Damien was a rising powerhouse under the strongest of humanity, the Seventh Paragon. Even though his personal strength wasn't enough against the progenitor.

He didn't fight alone.

"I should assist Yuki as much as possible." Damien nodded to himself, as though recognizing the plausibility of the prospect. In terms of armaments, he wasn't helpless.

After all, he wielded the strongest Five-Star Extraterrestrial Monster: Eclipse. Since the beginning, he had never summoned her. It wasn't without reason.

Within his heart was the sense of dread that would come after the summoning. A Five-Star Extraterrestrial Monster... Who knows what would happen if Eclipse were ever summoned?

As such, this was an opportunity. How would his strongest monster compare to the Vampire Progenitor of the Clan? The question alone intrigued him.

On the other hand, Yuki faced the progenitor with the same calm as when she descended from the parted heavens. She looked down upon him as though staring at a leech.

The Vampire Progenitor, donned in his jet-black armor, gazed at the gorgeous lady. To think that a mere monster would be so beautiful.

Once she was terminated from existence, that arrogant young Aberrant would be defanged, and the monstrous abominations besieging them would collapse subsequently.

The moment when they stared at each other took no longer than five seconds. But for the two, it felt like an eternity. They were observing every moment of each other's bodies.

After all, the first one to make a move would lose something. Unless, of course, the instantaneous clash ended as a draw.

A draw? There was no way the progenitor would let such a thing occur again. No matter where in the New World. There would be no one who would stand as his equal.

With the White Devil gone, he had become the strongest.

The two became instant blurs, their clashes flashing across the stormy heavens above the chaotic capital. Each attack was blocked or deflected, yet they continued.

Elites of the United Defense Army below watched as the heavens unfolded under the confrontation of their progenitor and the descending goddess.

Such a scene reminded them of the Revolution when the White Devil and the Vampire Progenitor fought for the first time. Then, the vampires didn't doubt the power or capabilities of their origin.

But now... The New World had changed.

The vampires were forced into the lower half of the New World, a humiliation that none of them would ever forget. As a result, a sense of trepidation filled their hearts.

It was blasphemy to doubt the victory of their progenitor, but it was difficult to defend against the wave of dread that filled their hearts.

As Yuki and the Vampire Progenitor fought above the capital, Damien nodded to himself and saw his Terror Points rising evermore. While she was holding out against him, the progenitor wasn't to be underestimated.

It was only a matter of time until she was overwhelmed by him.

With this in mind, Damien stared at his status display and hoped that his Terror Points would grow as fast as possible.

Confronting the progenitor was possible in his current state. Perhaps fighting with Yuki could result in their victory. But Damien wanted to be prepared for the worst.

With this in mind, his monsters must evolve so that he can acquire more personal skills in his arsenal. The more the better, as it would grant him the ability to be versatile in a troublesome situation.

"I don't feel good waiting," Damien sighed to himself, watching the ordeal of the capital through his personal skill. Taking a deep breath, it was time to use everything he had.

The reason why he didn't summon monsters below Four-Stars, except for the Paranormal Monsters bothering the Duke November, was simple. He wanted to save Command Seals as much as possible.

"Cause as much chaos in the capital."

Damien commanded, and several monsters below Four-Stars were summoned into the battlefront. Not only that, the besieging Four-Stars had finally arrived at the outskirts of the capital.

With the Clan in a chokehold, his Terror Points should spike. And Damien wasn't wrong.

As several monsters caused chaos in the interior of the capital while the remaining Four-Stars arrived, the morale of the Clan was at its lowest.

Damien glanced at his status display and couldn't help but curl his lips into a subtle smile.

It was indeed spiking.
