In the alternate dimension, the progenitor felt dread in his spine for the first time since the Revolution over a decade ago. As the crimson moon dripped with blank ink, the starry night sky darkened.

An entity outside of the material world punctured through the veils of realities, splitting apart the dimension he had created in mere moments.

"What did you do!?" he roared at the gorgeous lady in front of him, who merely chuckled and tilted her head. "As I said, my reinforcements have arrived."

"You really didn't think I would be the strongest amongst the servants of the great lord, did you? It would be foolish if you thought so." Yuki remarked as her supple lips curled into a grin.

Why would the strongest monster be sent to handle him? Especially when the task was to stall as much time as possible.

"Damn it!" The progenitor clicked his tongue and realized where he had gone wrong. He had underestimated that Aberrant, and now he was paying the price for it.

"But how could this be?" he questioned, unable to believe that a young Aberrant could wield so much power. Even the strongest of Aberrants in his former world weren't capable of such things.

As the alternate dimension darkened, the black moon transformed into an eye, staring at the two. Yuki bowed and muttered. "Mistress Eclipse, the first servant of the great lord."

"I am honored to be in your presence."

The gargantuan eye that pierced through the veil of reality merely stared at her for a few seconds before turning towards the progenitor.

He tried closing the open alternate dimension, but the influence of the Eclipse was too much for him to handle. It wasn't a being he could confront, so there was one thing he could do.

That was to return to reality.

Just as he was about to collapse the alternate dimension, the progenitor noticed the lack of authority he held over it. Without a doubt, he wasn't the ruler of the false reality anymore.

It had already been usurped by the Eclipse.

This meant that the progenitor who was the warden of a dimensional prison became its prisoner instead. Even the White Devil wasn't capable of doing such a thing.

He felt cold sweat dripping from his forehead for the first time as he glared at Yuki in front of him. "Let us withdraw from this confrontation and maintain the balance of power."

"Otherwise, your master's precious one wouldn't be able to leave the Tesseract." He warned, recognizing that he still held some power, no matter how small it may be.

Yuki tilted her head once again and chuckled. "We don't really need you to open the Tesseract. After all, no matter how powerful it is, an artifact remains an artifact."

"Compared to the omnipotence of the great lord. Your fourth-dimensional prison means nothing. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?" Her pitch-black eyes narrowed as she continued.

"You aren't the one holding power here. Instead, you are our prisoner."

The progenitor furrowed his brow as he heard her words, but had a rough understanding of what she meant. The capabilities of the being that punctured through the alternate dimension were troublesome.

If such a being was capable of severing the veils between realities, what was stopping them from doing the same with the Tesseract?

With this in mind, the progenitor understood that he was under the mercy of the Aberrant. Such humiliation was something he wouldn't ignore.

But with his life on the line, there wasn't much he could do about it. No matter the humiliation, the Clan must continue. Patience was their greatest strength, after all.

"I understand..."

Meanwhile, Damien saw the capital empty of anyone but the elite defenders of the United Defense Army. A combination of various organizations belonging to the fallen True Bloods.

Since the citizens have been evacuated to the southern cities, the rising Terror Points have begun to slow down for the first time.

However, he wasn't that bothered about it. After all, he wasn't too greedy.

"Eclipse should have reinforced Yuki by now," he remarked as his lips curled into a sly smile. "Fortunately, the progenitor is stuck in an alternate dimension."

"It makes it easy for Eclipse to lock it down. Otherwise, he would have too much freedom in the material world." The reason why Damien didn't immediately deploy Eclipse was for this reason.

Much better for the progenitor to show his cards first.
