As Damien observed his status display with intrigue, Yuki materialized and bowed towards her master. "The progenitor has been handled, Lord Oberon. The Great Eclipse has severed him."

"Good, as expected of my monsters... But tell me one thing. What were the last words of the progenitor?" He questioned while staring at her with his sable-tinted gaze.

Although he was aware of the progenitor's demise, how the old bastard died or resisted remained a mystery for him.

Damien was curious about the progenitor's last words. For an old being like that, who knows how many secrets they held? Perhaps, they may even be aware of the world's secrets.

Especially ancient knowledge about the black towers that riddled the New World. Despite his strength, Heaven's Fall lingered as a mystery.

The progenitor was supposed to be his final clue, but it appears that the old bastard resisted until the end. Luckily, Nexus was around for him to wield.

The Fourth-Star Evolution of the Neurophages was Nexus, a being that represented an entire species of highly intelligent biomolecules.

"Hmm..." Yuki tilted her head and pondered it for a moment before responding. "The progenitor tried threatening us about outside forces."

"According to him, there were many more outside the New World, waiting for a chance to strike. If both he and the master's boss were gone, these ancient beings might besiege the New World."

She expounded, which prompted Damien to nod in understanding. He wasn't ignorant of those beyond the two oceans that surrounded the New World from east to west.

These ancient beings could be Aberrants or progenitors of some species belonging to other worlds. However, he didn't fear any of them, for he was confident in his ability to overcome these horrors.

Besides, it wasn't like he was fighting alone.

Sooner or later, Alastair would be unsealed from the Tesseract and walk upon the earth once again. Of course, it would probably take time.

After all, Damien needed to be careful and not cause more trouble for his boss. It would be troublesome if something happened to the Tesseract while he attempts to open it.

"I see... Ancient beings, huh? Quite troublesome, but not threatening enough to warrant a first strike." If it were him from before, he would have wanted to strike first.

His capabilities were directly correlated to terror. To acquire such resources, he must be invested in the offensive as much as possible.

It was for this reason that he managed to defeat the Clan.

"How may your servants assist you, Lord Oberon?" Yuki asked while Nexus appeared beside her and deeply bowed at their great lord. "It is an honor to be in the presence of Lord Oberon."

She frowned, but didn't speak and merely gave way for the newly arrived colleague to talk. After all, with the assimilation of the progenitor, Nexus might have information their great lord needs.

Even though she wanted his attention only for herself, Yuki does not want her personal actions to affect her merciful master. As such, before the presence of her colleagues, she rarely acted up.

"Nexus... Any information that requires my attention?" Damien questioned as he stared at the monster in front of him.

It had consumed the body of the progenitor, transforming into the old bastard. With the memories of an ancient being, there should be some information that he might be intrigued by.

Nexus thought for a moment before nodding in agreement. "Yes, there is information about the Tesseract alongside the identities of those outside the continent."

Hearing his words, Damien's lips curled into a subtle smile. These were what he needed the most since it was better not to be ignorant of such matters.

"Explain." The moment such words escaped his mouth, Nexus started expounding every piece of information that was obtained by the assimilation of the progenitor.

After the two of them discussed for half a dozen minutes, Damien took a deep breath and realized that the waters of the New World were much deeper than he expected.

"I should have expected no less..." He muttered to himself before glancing at his status display.

After a couple of seconds, he turned his attention towards Yuki and spoke. "I want you to spread the news about the death of the progenitor and the True Blood."

Damien didn't really need to use his monsters to cause more terror. The news about the death of the progenitor should provide the results he needed.

Yuki nodded and bowed before fading from reality. Nexus also lowered his head while smiling and took his leave. Damien closed his eyelids and patiently waited.

It didn't take long for notifications to bombard his mind once again. As said before, terror didn't require the emergence of monsters.

What it needed was a cause.

The death of the progenitor would be enough to stir the Clan for a couple of days. Who knows how many Terror Points he would have acquired by then?

"Should I start evolving my Fourth-Star Monsters?" Damien narrowed his sable-tinted gaze and watched his status display.
