As Damien walked through the desolate stretch of land, the backdrop of the blue skies ushered in a picturesque scene. Behind him were Yuki and Nexus, who followed with steady, silent steps.

Observing his status display for a moment, he sighed to himself and glanced at the calmed heavens. It was soothing to his heart, cleansing whatever useless thoughts that pervaded his mind.

"Hmm... I should take a vacation," he muttered and stared at the blurred lines of the horizon. The southern frontier was beyond that line.

He could have teleported there in an instant, but he wanted to take his time and enjoy the changing scenery of the New World's lower half.

The black storm that had shrouded the heavens for a decade had been cleansed. The grayish landscape of the Clan had finally felt the warmth of the golden sun.

Amongst the things he did, such a simple deed might be the greatest.

"How do you think the Federation will react after finding out about the Clan and my growing power?" Damien halted and asked Yuki, who furrowed her eyebrows.

"In the eyes of those mortals, Lord Oberon has become a being beyond their grasp. They would be anxious and would want the great master to be gone."

"But they wouldn't do anything more than that." What she meant was simple. While the higher echelons of the Federation wouldn't like his growth, that would be the only thing they would do.

No tricks or schemes were effective against him. In simpler terms, they would do the same as they did when the White Devil stood above them.

Always look down and pretend themselves to be the ceiling of the New World. An unfortunate mindset, but it does quell any rebellious thoughts that pop up within their minds.

Hearing her words, Damien chuckled and nodded in satisfaction. "That's right. There wouldn't be much they could do about it."

"The only thing they might do is wait... Wait until for some unknown reason I disappear. Even I am not inclined to take the responsibility of watching over the Federation for the coming decades."

"What do you think I should do about it?" He tilted his head, curious about the thoughts of his monster. Nexus smiled at the sight and interjected. "How about I assimilate those in power, Lord Oberon?"

"At the very least, you wouldn't have to worry about replacing them for immediate candidates. We could wait until better government employees graduate from institutions."

It wasn't a bad suggestion. Better than outright killing those politicians. After all, it would be difficult to find replacements.

Regardless of how corrupt they were, the Federation needed governance.

"Alright, I'll think about your suggestion." Damien nodded and turned his gaze towards Yuki, who remained in deep thought. "How about you, Yuki? What are your thoughts or suggestions?"

"I believe that it would be better for those people to face severe punishments for daring to act against Lord Oberon. We can dismantle the reputation and let the Federation tear them apart."

"Far worser fate than death."

A day later...

In the Forward-Operating Base of the Third Division, Hecate and Francine awaited the arrival of their companion. With them were members of Block 3, who were exhilarated to see the hero of humanity.

From a distance, three silhouettes were in the backdrop of the setting sun. Damien walked towards the Forward-Operating Base alongside Yuki and Nexus, following from behind.

Francine felt her supple lips curl up from the scene while Hecate smirked at the sight of her partner's arrival. The two of them didn't question the identity of the people behind.

After all, they understood Damien's capabilities the most.

"Took you long... Did you spend most of your time pondering about what you did?" She tilted her head while smiling at him. Her sapphire-like eyes pierced through the golden-tinted eyeglasses as she continued.

"Forcing the vampires further south... Even now, I have a difficult time believing. But if it was you who did it. Perhaps, there's no need to doubt."

Francine sighed to herself while the surrounding Jaegers gazed upon Damien in amazement. In their eyes, he was a hero who had pushed the vampires to the brink.

"I didn't fight those bastards alone. I had some helpful assistance." Damien glanced at the two behind him, who maintained a sense of formality.

Even though they had contained and halted themselves from behaving peculiarly, their actions sent a wave of confusion through the crowd.

"You weren't alone, huh? I guess that should have been obvious. After all, you're not the type to fight at a disadvantage. The reason why you forced them back was that you and your friends here have the capabilities to do so."

Francine chuckled while Damien smiled and walked towards Hecate. "It has been a while, partner... Was the Federation handled properly?"

The crimson-haired vampire felt her velvet eyes glimmer as she grinned. "Of course, Senior and I handled those leeches without a problem."

"But they did try to tear apart the SIGIL alongside CORE, though. Fortunately, Senior already united the organization under her banner."

"With the authority and power of SIGIL, it was possible for us to resist the ravenous hands of the Federal Government and the Corporations."

Hecate explained what they had gone through, to which Francine interrupted. "Now that you have returned, those hyenas wouldn't be able to bother us anymore."

"So... Did you get what you wanted to find?" She tilted her head, curious about the success of Damien's operation. Of course, the gargantuan young man nodded and replied. "I manage to take the artifact."

He took out the Tesseract, which radiated energy under the golden sun. "It is an ancient artifact capable of sealing anyone into the fourth dimension."

"Quite a troublesome thing... It would probably take a while for us to rescue the boss. Probably, a week at most."

"A week? Here I thought we would be waiting for results in several months." Francine was somewhat surprised by his remark.

"I have my ways... In any case, I'd like to hear more about what happened in the Federation." Damien smirked alongside his companions.

Yuki and Nexus watched as they disappeared into the distance. Before they faded into reality, Nexus couldn't help but mutter. "As expected of the great one, capable of seducing even the most stubborn."

The implications alone made Yuki frown, but she shook her head and vanished. Nexus glanced at her empty spot and chuckled to himself.

"I shouldn't have said such things. I don't want to die early yet." He said while waning from existence. The two promptly disappeared as though they hadn't existed in the first place.

As Damien walked alongside his companions, he heard about what they had gone through after returning to the Federation. The news of the Seventh Paragon's disappearance brought more chaos than expected.

Within the chaos were vicious serpents who wanted to devour the SIGIL and obtain its power. Naturally, the organization resisted. With the Paragons united under one banner.

There wasn't much that the Federation or CORE could do.

While listening to them, Damien watched his status display and saw his Terror Points rise. Now that he was back to safety, perhaps it's time to evolve his monster army.
