"This is the house, Alpha Anastasia". Henry said to me.

"Alright. You have finished your job. You can leave". I ordered him without bothering to look at his face.

My eyes were fixed on the house before me as I kept on wondering if the house was built for animals to live in.

"But-".

"Are you trying to disobey my order right now, Henry?". I turned to him as I said.

He flinched because the tone of my voice had turned cold.

"Of- of course not, Alpha Anastasia. I will take my leave immediately". He stuttered as he replied to me.

At that same minute, he left my side and hurried away.

’I see what you did there, Clara’. Elektra said to me. She is a part of me, so it’s easy for her sometimes to figure me out.

’I had to send him away, Elektra. If Anders saw him now, what do you think would happen? I could easily stop Anders from daring to hurt Henry in my presence, but-’

’I understand you, Clara. No need for you to explain further’. She told me and I didn’t mind - link her again.

I walked toward the door and knocked on it.

Nobody answered me.

This time around, I had to knock on the door gently because when I knocked on the door the first time, the door felt like it would fall off.

’What was that?’. I wondered. I sensed Anders’ presence, but it was very faint. It was as if the presence was fading away.

If I am correct, Anders should be inside the house.

I dashed into the house and didn’t care about the so-called respect I talked about earlier.

As I stepped foot inside the house and saw the condition of the house, I was beyond speechless.

The house was scattered. Even the old-looking sofas... I could see the foams that ought to be hidden.

I halted, and my eyes widened in shock as I saw Anders and the miserable state he was in. He was in his wolf form and was lying helplessly on the rough wooden floor.

His entire body was covered in blood.

’What the heck? Who did this to him?!’. Elektra shouted.

I didn’t reply to her.

My eyes were focused on Anders as I clenched both my fists and gritted my teeth. I felt the veins in my neck popping out as I knelt down in front of Anders.

I lifted his upper body off the floor and made him lie on my laps.

"Anders, who did this to you?". I asked him even after knowing that he was unconscious and could not reply to me.

Not wasting any time, I checked his breathing and pulse and discovered that he would die in a few minutes if I did not do something about it.

Making me think. ’What if I hadn’t come to find him today? He would have died’.

"Elektra, I promise, I will deal with the ones who did this to Anders!".

’Yeah, yeah. But first take him to the mansion to treat him before you do that. Can you not see the blood on his body? Judging from that, you can tell that he is in a critical condition’. Elektra said to me, and she was right.

He rushed to my side and bowed, before he helped me carry Anders before asking, "Who is he?".

"Don’t ask me any questions. Just take him to my bedroom and leave him on my bed. Remember, put him on my bed. Don’t you dare put him on the floor". I ordered him.

The guard was unsure, causing his movements to be clumsy because of the way he walked back and forth.

"Snap out of it and hurry up!".

"Understood, Alpha Anastasia!". He replied to me and hurried into the mansion.

Meanwhile, I took out my cell phone from my pocket.

Lady Valerie, who was supposed to be in the mansion or close to the mansion at all times, was nowhere to be found today.

Anyway, after I searched for lady Valerie’s number in my cell phone’s contacts list, I recalled that I didn’t have her number.

I was flustered, causing me to forget about that.

But one particular number caught my attention, causing my face to darken.

It was Eleanor’s number.

I deleted her number before returning my cell phone to my pocket.

’If I have finished treating Anders, I should probably collect Beta Damien’s phone number and that of the Gamma, the Delta and Lady Valerie and the eleven elders’. I thought.

No need for me to collect Aunt Penelope’s number because it is already in my cell phone’s contact list.

Since I did not have any idea where lady Valerie was at the moment, I decided to get the medical ingredients and equipment myself.

I needed some herbs too.

The medicine I have in my room will not be enough to treat Anders.

With no other options, I flew up in the air and left the mansion, not minding the blood stain on my clothes.

Although I can’t use the black magic to heal, I could disappear using it. But I just didn’t want to use it. Out of the three powers of destruction I had awakened, I understood that the black magic was the worst of them.
