Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 430 - 429: Losing His Temper at Mr. Sterling
Mr. Sterling suddenly came to visit, and Renee Grant regretfully said they couldn’t stay for dinner. Then she praised Felicity Sterling from head to toe, holding Felicity’s hand and saying The Matron Grant was talking nonsense, and the Sterling and Grant families were truly well-matched.
These words made Wyatt Sterling feel very uncomfortable.
When Renee praised Felicity, she intentionally belittled Serena Sullivan.
In Wyatt’s view, Serena had lost the use of her legs and couldn’t bear children, yet she was still better than Felicity.
This feeling was strange and very intense.
On the way back, Wyatt didn’t say much to Mrs. Sterling.
Mrs. Sterling didn’t mind; she was never particularly close to this son, as long as the current relationship was maintained.
However, this trip to Solaria was her idea, and after arriving, she felt very uneasy, especially after meeting Serena.
Truly ridiculous, she wasn’t even afraid of Claire Sullivan!
A cripple, really, what right does she have to make her afraid?
After taking everyone back, Wyatt went straight to find Mr. Sterling.
"Dad, they are back."
Mr. Sterling was handling business affairs, looked up, and immediately noticed something was off with his son.
"What’s wrong?"
"Please stop doing meaningless things!" Wyatt said calmly and clearly.
He had never spoken to Mr. Sterling in such a tone.
In Mr. Sterling’s eyes, this son could be foolish at times, but he was very satisfied!
He realized Wyatt had come back from the old Grant mansion, and asked with suspicion, "What’s wrong?"
"Has Felicity really become undesirable?" Wyatt recalled what The Matron Grant said at the entrance of the Grant family’s main hall.
Felicity is unwanted, or has hidden ailments, why must she seize a man who already has a family! 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"Ethan Grant and Serena Sullivan are already married."
Once again, Mr. Sterling heard Wyatt arguing with him about Serena and Ethan.
"They are not a match!"
Mr. Sterling said coolly.
"Whether they are a match or not, what does that have to do with you, Dad?"
Wyatt sneered; in his childhood, he yearned for closeness with Mr. Sterling, but Mr. Sterling’s visits were rare.
After living with Mr. Sterling, he wasn’t pampered like Felicity.
So, he worked hard, hoping Mr. Sterling would notice him more. For some reason, he always felt Mr. Sterling intentionally distanced himself.
He had never contradicted Mr. Sterling before, especially not over a girl.
A girl completely unrelated to him!
Yet, when he thought of her, his heart ached!
"Dad, this is someone else’s matter."
Wyatt reminded, "Regardless, Felicity shouldn’t be snatching someone else’s man."
"Serena is already very pitiful; she probably won’t stand again or might not live for many years!"
"Wyatt!"
Wyatt’s latter words frustrated Mr. Sterling, making his face cold, and he called sharply.
Wyatt chuckled quietly, not feeling he said anything wrong.
"Dad, it’s really strange. When I see Serena, I really like her."
"And it’s odd, I always feel she’s about to leave!"
Wyatt hadn’t seen Serena recently, but he dreamed about her several times.
In the dream, she looked pale, slowly closed her eyes, and told him she wouldn’t live much longer.
The strange feeling and strange dreams made him unable to control asking Mr. Sterling about The Matron Grant’s words today.
"Don’t cruelly take Ethan Grant from her hands!"
"Please give her a chance to survive!"
