Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling is Multifaceted!-Chapter 330: The Final Madness
Along the way, Seraphina Redgrave saw the sky becoming much brighter.
For three nights she had been practicing driving non-stop, and even during the daytime she would ponder if there was something she hadn’t done well before, keeping her nerves taut and not daring to relax. Now, with Ethan Sterling mentioning rest, a strong sense of fatigue washed over her.
She looked at the scenery outside; by this time tomorrow, the person by his side would be Hector Shaw, and she would be on her way south. A sense of bitterness welled up in her heart, causing her discomfort.
She glanced at the man next to her.
Perhaps it was because he had stayed up with her practicing for the past couple of days, but Ethan was exhausted. Now relaxed, he leaned back against the seat, closed his eyes to rest, and the light from outside the window cast shadows from his long eyelashes across his face. His thin lips were pressed together, breathing softly.
After tonight, she would only be able to see him through video.
Seraphina’s gaze traced Ethan’s face bit by bit. Her heart stirred, and she held his hand, casually resting there. As soon as she touched it, Ethan gripped her hand tightly, unwilling to let go.
Ethan suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze intense.
"Hey, you weren’t asleep... Mmm."
Ethan’s other hand pressed against the back of her head, leaning in closer to Seraphina.
His lips, with a scorching warmth, covered Seraphina’s soft lips, slowly teasing her. His breath on her skin sent her heart racing.
He leaned forward relentlessly; Seraphina, unable to resist his strength, fell back until she lay back on the seat.
The driver in the front seat silently raised the screen, providing absolute privacy for the backseat.
Ethan held her head with one hand, the other placed outside her body, enclosing her in his embrace. The stars swirling in his eyes seemed to sear her soul but also hinted at the clouds on an overcast day, blocking her vision.
"Three hours, you only need three hours of rest," Ethan stared at her, his voice tense. "The rest of the time is mine."
After saying this, regardless of whether Seraphina was willing or not, Ethan lowered his head and kissed her, consuming her every taste, taking away all her breath, wanting to devour her whole.
His articulate fingers slid into her smooth hair, the fingernailess ring finger feeling no pain.
Seraphina couldn’t let go of him either, so she didn’t refuse, responding with her actions, her hands caressing his back, her tongue clumsily reciprocating.
Her actions made Ethan’s gaze darken.
A towering desire burned every nerve, an intense heat.
The black car sped faster and faster, yet Ethan felt time passed extremely slowly, not wanting to waste a single second.
Seraphina had never been like this before, drenched in sweat. When they arrived at the villa, her eyes were somewhat that of a daze, as if she had just stepped out of a steamer.
Ethan hastily dressed her, then steadily carried her out of the car, striding into the main building.
"Young Master Sterling, Miss."
Nanny Lynch just wanted to ask what they would like to eat, but felt as if a gust of wind brushed past her. With just a turn of the head, the figures on the stairs were gone. She wasn’t even sure if it was Ethan and Seraphina who had returned.
As soon as they entered the room, the clothes they had just put on vanished again.
Ethan carried her into the shower room. Warm water rained down, the steamy heat covering the frosted glass with a veil of white, the warmth spreading throughout the bathroom.
The room was filled with an amorous atmosphere.
Ivory fingers pressed against the white ceramic tiles, the tips stained with a light pink, and upon closer inspection, they were still trembling.
The heat continued to rise, feeling even hotter than summer, and the roses placed on the washstand exuded their fragrance.
Seraphina didn’t know what had made her so hot; her mind crackled as if fireworks were bursting. She felt like she was about to faint, and suddenly the bathroom door opened.
The cold air prickled her skin with goosebumps. Instantly alert, she instinctively searched for something warm, leaning into Ethan’s embrace.
Suddenly lifted, Ethan carried her toward the large bed in the room. They both fell into the soft covers, and before Seraphina could react, the man’s overwhelming kisses enveloped her again. His hands on her waist tickled slightly.
Later, Seraphina didn’t know if it was due to the uncontrollable passion between men and women or the impending separation; she held Ethan’s back tightly, bit his shoulder hard, and didn’t stop even when her mouth tasted blood, but Ethan still held her tightly.
There was no breakfast, no lunch today.
It was already afternoon.
Ethan turned over and lay down, his attractive chest heaving, his ribs throbbing painfully.
Seraphina lay under the covers, clutching the edge of the blanket, too exhausted to speak, feeling as if she’d just run eight kilometers.
This was her first taste of how utterly wild things could get between a grown man and woman.
"This time it’s really enough."
Ethan restrained the pain all over his body and said; she imitating his posture lay on the bed, looking up at the ceiling, her voice a bit hoarse, "I think a few of your ribs might be beyond recovery."
Always so reckless.
Ethan’s eyes carried a satisfied tinge, a teasing smile on his lips, unconcernedly saying, "Even if my ribs were to pierce my organs right now, I wouldn’t regret it."
"Don’t talk nonsense!"
Sometimes Seraphina really wanted to know what went on in this man’s mind.
"I’m serious."
She thought foolishly that afterward it would just be a long-distance relationship, where they could call and video chat daily.
But in reality, it’s all so illusory, none of it will happen.
The only truth is her, lying beside him now.
Ethan’s heart sank a little. He turned to face Seraphina and said, "Do get some sleep, there’s important work tonight, can’t afford to run out of energy."
"Okay."
Seraphina was truly exhausted, and upon hearing this, she obediently closed her eyes.
Suddenly, she opened them again, as if she’d remembered something, and immediately moved closer into his embrace, struggled to pull his arm open, resting her head on it before she was at peace to close her eyes again.
"..."
Ethan watched Seraphina lying on his arm, momentarily stiffened, but soon curved his arm to encase her entirely, holding her tight.
He knew how despicable he truly was. Had there been no accident, he’d really keep Seraphina by his side forever.
But now, an accident had occurred.
He must let her leave.
...
Seraphina slept soundly in Ethan’s warm embrace, dreamless throughout. When she opened her eyes, the room was bathed in golden hues.
It wouldn’t be long before they had to part ways.
Without the earlier hours of passion, looking at each other, they were now full of bitterness, and Seraphina could only comfort herself with the thought that they would meet again someday.
