After a minute of examining them, Archmage Isadora asked, "Did you guys take a bath?"

"That's right," Anna nodded with a small smile on her face. "There is a small but beautiful waterfall a few hundred meters away from here. We found it by sheer coincidence."

"We just took the chance to take a nice bath before returning. How could we miss such a good opportunity after so long?" Rose added with a smile, which made Archmage Isadora sigh in regret for not joining them earlier.

If she had joined them, she could have seen the beautiful view of the forest, cleaned her already smelly body, and washed her old, dirty clothes covered in mud and blood.

"Miss Isadora, we will now return to our tent and start preparing our lunch. You can join us if you have free time," Anna said to her with a smile before pulling Yuan toward their tent.

Rose, Valeria, and Mireya exchanged glances with Isadora and followed Yuan and Anna to the tent. Meanwhile, Isadora could only look at their backs with a bittersweet smile on her face.

"I shouldn't think about it anymore. I don't have time to worry about unnecessary things; I have more important matters to take care of…" Archmage Isadora shook her head and turned around before heading toward the temporary infirmary.

A few minutes later, Yuan and his wives arrived at their tent. Yuan went inside the tent with Xi Meili, but before he entered, he pulled Leah along with him, surprising her.

"Let me go, Yuan. I need to help Mom with preparing lunch for us. I don't have time to flirt with you," Leah said while looking down, her face blushing as she was being stared at by her other sisters.

"Where do you think you are going?" Yuan securely placed his arms around her waist, bringing her close to him till her enormous breasts pressed against his chest. "Mom can handle it by herself. And, furthermore, Mom has Rose, Julie, Ava, and the others to ask for assistance."

"But—" Before she could say anything, Yuan locked her lips with a deep kiss, leaving her speechless.

Feeling his lips push against her lips, Leah let go of all her resistance and softly put her arms around his neck, feeling her body respond to the kiss with a delicate and tingling sensation.

'This feels so comfortable and good…I want to stay like this for as long as I live…' Leah pondered with a small smile on her face, feeling very comfortable in her husband's loving embrace.

Yuan separated from Leah a minute later and looked into her eyes with a gentle smile on his handsome face, making her blush slightly.

"Hmph~!" Seeing them like that, Xi Meili cutely pouted, making both Leah and Yuan giggle at her, which made her puff her cheeks even more in mock anger.

Yuan then walked toward Xi Meili with a smile, but Xi Meili looked away, feeling jealous of Leah and trying to avoid his gaze.

However, to Yuan, her actions were too cute to ignore, and the more she acted this way, the more he found her adorable. Her cuteness level was off the charts.

Yuan gently cupped her face and made her look into his eyes. She tried to resist, but her efforts were futile as Yuan didn't let go.

"You look so cute, Xi Meili…" Yuan hugged her waist gently, making her feel comfortable in his loving and caring embrace. Xi Meili only pouted at him.

Yuan chuckled at her response and took a seat on the wooden camping chair. Then, he made her sit on his lap and pulled her body closer to him.

"Are you angry that I kissed Leah before you?" Yuan whispered into Xi Meili's ear, making them turn red from the warmth of his breath against her pointy ears.

She didn't speak but nodded reluctantly, making him and Leah chuckle, which puffed her cheeks even more.

After teasing her a bit, Yuan pulled her face closer and pressed his lips against hers. Since the kiss was sudden, Xi Meili was surprised, her eyes widening in shock.

Seeing her wide-open eyes, Yuan chuckled and moved his hands to her large breasts, beginning to play with them, sending incredible sensations through Xi Meili's body.

"Hubby, you're so bad to me. Why didn't you spoil me first? Is Xi Meili not your favorite anymore?" Xi Meili questioned with a sad look, as if about to cry.

"How could that be? Xi Meili has always been my No. 1 wife," Yuan replied with a small chuckle and kissed her forehead.

Hearing this, a smile bloomed on her face, making her appear even more beautiful. Yuan couldn't hold himself back and shared another passionate kiss with her.

Sometime later, Anna shouted from outside, calling them for lunch. As soon as Xi Meili heard Anna's sweet voice, she jumped from Yuan's lap and ran out of the tent.

"Typical Xi Meili, always excited for food cooked by Mom Grace... she is so cute like this," Yuan muttered softly. He stood up from the chair and went outside the tent, holding hands with Leah.

When he came out, he saw that Xi Meili had already started eating, stuffing her face with food without a care for her surroundings.

After lunch, Yuan relaxed for a moment with his wives, sitting under a massive tree while chatting. Occasionally, they heard monster howls from a distance.

Many hours passed like this, and it was now afternoon—time for them to enjoy a nice cup of tea. They couldn't cultivate in this place as it would attract too much attention, and with seventy percent of the expedition participants injured, they could do nothing but wait a few days for recovery.

With nothing to do, they were getting bored and decided to spend their time chatting and relaxing together.

"So, you guys are spending your time here… I searched the entire camp for you and finally found you," suddenly, they heard Archmage Isadora's voice from a distance. Turning their heads, they saw her approaching with a smile.

"Oh, we were just getting bored inside our tent, so we decided to come out and found this place," Anna replied with a small smile. "Come, have a seat with us. I'll quickly brew a pot of tea."

"Sure, I'm also currently free and have nothing to do for a while," Archmage Isadora nodded with a smile and sat on a tree trunk protruding from the massive tree.

Anna then went back to the tent to prepare tea and snacks, knowing that with Isadora there, she had to make something delicious.

A few moments later, Isadora looked at Yuan with a smile and asked, "So, Yuan, what do you think about our current situation? Are there any strong monsters nearby that could attack us?"

She then continued, "Although our defense is quite strong and we fully trust the monster-repelling devices, I'm still concerned. After all, this part of the forest is home to many powerful monsters that we have never even heard of before."

"Your concern is very normal, Miss Isadora," Yuan responded with a smile. "It's true that there are monsters within the forest that you've never seen or heard of before."

Yuan paused and looked at Isadora for a moment before continuing, "There are monsters that could wipe out all of you in the blink of an eye, and you wouldn't even be able to defend yourselves against them."

Yuan was referring to the spiritual beasts roaming freely within the forest, which were staying away from the camp due to sensing Xi Meili's presence. If Xi Meili weren't there, it would be a different story. The camp wouldn't survive five minutes under an attack by these spiritual beasts; it would be destroyed in the blink of an eye.

Yuan smiled at her and explained, "Spiritual beasts are similar to magical beings in appearance, but fundamentally, they are totally different. Spiritual beasts use a different kind of energy compared to the magical monsters that use mana."

Upon hearing this, Archmage Isadora's expression turned very serious, and she listened to his words intently, almost unable to believe what she was hearing.
