My father sold me to the Mafia King-Chapter 98 - 99/Do you like Julie?
Chapter 99:
Carlos’s Point of View
I placed my hand on my cheek, which was still glowing with the heat of her slap, and said in an audible voice that filled the office:
"This girl cannot be mentally stable."
Robert’s response came cutting like a blade:
"You are the unstable one here, Carlos."
I pulled the chair opposite him and threw myself into it, knitting my brows in disapproval:
"Really? And why is that?"
Robert fixed his cold gaze on me and replied in a commanding tone:
"You cannot kiss her."
My eyes did not leave Robert’s face; there was something in his taut features, a suppressed irritation that he couldn’t entirely hide behind his mask of coolness.
I leaned forward slightly and asked him cunningly:
"And why are you so upset?"
He averted his gaze from me toward the papers in front of him and replied dryly:
"I’m not."
I laughed sarcastically and shook my head:
"Yes, you are... you look as if I kissed you, not her."
He exhaled sharply and said, pressing the pen between his fingers:
"Don’t be ridiculous, Carlos."
I sighed in frustration and leaned back, contemplating the office ceiling:
"Listen... this girl is crazy. I don’t know how to get close to her."
Robert commented in a mysterious tone:
"She is indeed crazy, but you are crazy too."
I raised my hands in helplessness:
"What did I do? It was just a kiss on the cheek! What is she? A nun or something?"
He answered, clenching his jaw firmly:
"She does not like anyone to get close to her."
I smiled boldly, imagining her face flaming with anger:
"So... I took a slap for a kiss on the cheek. What would you do then if I kissed her on her lips?"
Robert stopped writing completely, and a heavy silence prevailed for seconds before he said:
"I think you should forget about her entirely... she is not the type you prefer."
I was surprised by his insistence; Robert is always trying to push me to back down from the idea of getting close to her.
I narrowed my eyes and asked him clearly:
"And why do you always try to prevent me from approaching her, Robert?"
He replied without looking up:
"I am just telling you the facts."
I said defiantly:
"Then... you don’t have a real reason for doing this."
The pulse of the room stopped for a moment, and he asked me as he slowly raised his gaze:
"What do you mean, Carlos?"
I smiled a meaningful smile and said the words I was afraid to utter:
"I mean... that maybe you like Julie."
In that moment, I saw something rare; his eyes ignited with a raging anger despite the supreme coldness he masters portraying.
His body jolted slightly, and he said in a sharp tone like the hiss of a snake:
"Carlos... I think you’ve started imagining things. I am Robert Cross; girls cannot stir my admiration, especially a little child like Julie." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
I raised my eyebrows in astonishment at his violent reaction:
"And why all this agitation?"
He returned his gaze to the papers and said, trying to regain his fake composure:
"Because you are talking nonsense, Carlos."
I shook my head as I watched his features return to their stony stillness; yes, it seems my imagination is indeed wild.
I have known Robert for years; a man of his standards is not shaken by women, even the most charming and attractive ones.
I tilted my head to the side and touched my cheek, which still bore the imprint of her fingers, and said, trying to break the deadlock that hung in the air between us:
"Robert... does my cheek really look red?"
Robert raised his gaze from the papers and contemplated me for a second with a coldness not devoid of mockery, then said in a dry tone:
"If it hurts you... I can kiss you myself so the pain disappears."
My eyes widened in shock, and I let out a short laugh while raising my hand threateningly:
"I’ll slap you if you do!"
We burst into laughter, a rare moment in this gloomy office, through which I felt the disappearance of that hostile spark that had ignited a moment ago.
I rose from my seat, adjusted my jacket while regaining my playful mood, and said:
"Now I will go to my beautiful Luna... I’m late for her."
Robert nodded his head as he returned to his files and said in his usual deep voice:
"Go... she is waiting for you."
I left Robert’s office with a smile still hanging on my face and headed directly to the special room on the same floor.
As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by the scent of her strong perfume filling the place.
Luna was reclining on the huge bed in a position exuding seduction, wearing black lingerie that highlighted the whiteness of her skin, while her red hair flowed over her shoulders like erupting volcanic lava.
I raised my gaze to the large mirror fixed to the ceiling, where the reflection of her body on the bed doubled her charm.
I closed the door slowly behind me and said in a low voice filled with longing:
"Hello, my red beauty... I missed you."
She let out a delicate laugh wrapped in coquetry and stretched out with even more grace as she looked at me:
"And I missed you, my master."
I approached her, feeling the heat of her body drawing me in.
I leaned over her, inhaling the scent of her skin, then printed a deep kiss on her neck and whispered in her ear:
"Call me ’my love’..."
I felt her soft fingers snaking through the strands of my hair, pulling me toward her gently, and she said in a tone that melted what remained of my resolve:
"My love..."
I threw my jacket aside, and no sooner had it settled on the floor than her hands had anticipated my desire, fumbling with my shirt buttons with a feverish intimacy.
Our gaze met at that moment, and I said in a choked voice shrouded in possessiveness:
"You are my Luna."
As her panting breath fanned my bare chest, my hand moved to undo my belt.
As soon as I pulled it down, I released my dick, which was throbbing with the intensity of desire.
She didn’t hesitate for a moment; she leaned down before me, and I felt the cold air suddenly replaced by the heat of her tongue as she began to lick it slowly and with relish.
My back arched involuntarily and my thigh muscles stiffened, while a muffled cry caught in my throat as I felt the softness of her tongue wrapping around it, undulating with the accelerating pulses of my member.
All atoms of pleasure suddenly vanished with the sound of violent and continuous knocking on the door, piercing the silence of the room like warning shots.
My body muscles froze, and I felt a knot in my stomach from the impact of the surprise I was unaccustomed to; for no one dared to approach at this time.
"Whoever dared to interrupt me, I will put a bullet inside his head!"
The words came through my teeth, loaded with a real threat, while the veins in my neck flared with intense rage.
With quick movements devoid of any deliberation, I pulled my pants up and closed them in a hurry, ignoring my open shirt.
I gripped my fingers tightly around the cold metal handle of my weapon, feeling its familiar weight feeding my desire for revenge against this intrusion.
I rushed toward the door and jerked the handle so violently that its joints were nearly dislodged.
I raised my arm with a trained mechanism, aiming the muzzle of the weapon exactly at the center, ready to pull the trigger.
But, the moment my eyes fell on the knocker, my hand froze in the air, and I felt a coldness running through my limbs that made the weapon suddenly feel unbearably heavy.
The muzzle of the pistol lowered slowly as my pupils dilated in shock, and I whispered in a voice that cracked my usual steadfastness:
"Julie?"
