My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 660
Chapter 660
Anton spent his time rotting his brain watching funny short videos from the most famous short video platform until the wee hours of the morning. He woke up at seven and, after attending to his bodily needs, went outside his room after sending a raven summon to his four apprentices' suite.
After around twenty minutes of waiting, which Anton spent watching music videos on the red video platform, Kirk, Mesono, Omar, and Abdul arrived with bleary eyes, but at least they had taken the time to wash themselves.
“It’s time for us to go to that high-end resort you guys were talking about!” Anton excitedly said.
He was glad that he had taken the time to have a vacation because Anton did feel like his mood was lifting. Recently, he had always had this fatalistic attitude that was geared towards preparing himself for some sort of end-of-the-world scenario. He knew that it was a mistake always to think that way, as it was such a downer of an attitude. However, after spending the last few days enjoying himself, he was finally getting out of the depressing state.
Kirk just sighed, and Mesono mumbled that they would prefer staying at the suite, memorizing spells. First, Anton was glad that the four guys were still treating him as a friend instead of someone they needed to overly respect, and right now, during this vacation, he preferred that attitude. He knew that once Kirk and the others were sent to the Rose Manor, Raymond would fix their attitude. Their family butler was relentless in making sure that everyone respected him, his father, and his sister, and even his original employees had shifted back to treating him as their employer instead of their friend, which Anton took a long time to achieve.
He just let the butler be since Anton knew that the family needed to have some hierarchy while they were staying in Ormunda.
Anton could understand the four’s desire to focus on their magic. They just recently transitioned from being ordinary youths to novice wizards, and it was a dream come true for all of them. They knew that the opportunity they received was once in a lifetime chance since other venues would have cost them either an ungodly amount of wealth or slavery. At least with Anton, the rate they climb up the ranks of wizards would be extremely fast, and the only thing they needed to be was to remain as employees of Anton’s family for thirty years, which was a very short time considering the lifespan of wizards.
Even though Anton’s father assured him that his condition for Kirk, Mesono, Omar, and Abdul to stay in the family was more than generous, he still felt a little guilty. He knew that Anders and Anna considered him overly generous to the point of being a pushover, but that was just the way he was right now. The only defense he had was his youth, even though in reality, he was not an eighteen-year-old youth but a young man of twenty-four or twenty-five, since that was his age when he transmigrated from Earth to this world. If he was being honest, Anton considered his age now as his true age, since the life that he had on Earth was starting to seem like it was a dream. Ever since his parents died back on Earth, he had not truly lived, but simply existed. Even his death back on Earth was pathetic and something that Anton, Anthony, back then, wanted to truly forget.

“I directed Tessa and her parents to meet us at the Golden Lion restaurant at around eight in the morning,” Abdul said.
Anton finally learned the name of the pretty red-headed teenager who was part of their tour in the aquarium, but Anton did not care. The girl was much too young, being only sixteen according to Abdul.
When they reached the Golden Lion, Tessa and her parents, who Abdul said were just the same age as Anders, were already waiting for them. Anton was surprised since he truly thought that the old couple was in their sixties instead of in the middle of their forties. He knew that it was unfair for him to compare them to his father since his father looked like he was just in his late twenties to early thirties because Anders had been drinking and bathing with mana water for a very long time, and right now, Anders was also starting to become extremely powerful because Anton’s father was currently a holder of two powerful unique classes, which were Arcane Warrior and the Paladin class that Anton bestowed on his father using his Diablo II system.
They stayed at the Golden Lion for breakfast, with Anton treating everyone. When they were done, they headed directly to that high-end beach resort. They needed to hire a carriage since it was actually far enough that it would take them an hour by carriage to arrive there. When they got near the resort, they stopped at a well-known shopping plaza, and they spent a large amount of gold coins updating their clothes to something that rich people would wear.
Omar and Abdul wanted to wear wizard robes, but Anton still preferred to wear clothes that regular folks would wear. Besides, their wealth was enough to earn them the respect they wanted. Anton was even generous enough to spend coins to buy Tessa and her parents clothes.
Anton did not care how many coins they spent. They all behaved like prodigal second sons and daughters of rich businessmen and bought everything they fancied. He did not want to carry everyone else's belongings inside his inventory, so he bought a storage ring each for his four apprentices that had two cubic meters of space inside, which cost him three medium-level mana stones each.
Tessa and her parents’ eyes bulged when they saw Anton splurging medium-level mana stones for Kirk and the others, and he knew then that Tessa would probably be encouraged by her parents to attach herself to any one of Anton’s apprentices like a leech.
When they arrived at the resort, Anton was pleasantly surprised to learn that the entrance ticket for the day would only cost them three low-level mana stones each, and it included buffet-style lunch and dinner. If he wanted to rent a large bungalow beside the beach, it would only cost an additional five low-level mana stones. He handed a couple of medium-level mana stones to the beautiful lady, who was now their host for their stay, and asked her to take care of them during their stay in the resort for the day.
Anton knew that from then on, they would receive the best service because he saw that the lady realized that they were rich customers who did not care how much they would spend as long as they enjoyed their stay.
The bungalow had three bedrooms, and each bedroom had a large bathroom with complete facilities. Anton assigned one of the bedrooms to Tessa and her parents, one bedroom for Kirk, Mesono, Omar, and Abudl, and the last one for himself.
It was a little unfair of Anton to assign one bedroom for the four guys, but the rooms were not for sleeping, and were just a place to store their things and to shower, while they were on the beach. Not even then, because everyone was using their storage rings to store their things, except for Tessa and her parents.
All of them changed into their swimsuit and ran towards the beach. The sand was pristine and white, and the sea was a glorious, glistening, crystal blue.
