My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 666
Chapter 666
Anton went outside his room at around nine in the morning. He saw that Ishmael, his family, Tess, and his parents were already there. Another surprise waiting was the table full of food. It was early for lunch and late for breakfast, but Anton welcomed the food and joined everyone in eating.
Once they were done, they all went in front of the white blanket screen that was set up inside Anton’s suite.
Since it was his vacation and he had already decided that he would watch films that he had not seen before, regardless of who the audience was, he started playing the film Spiderman starring Tobey Maguire.
There were many versions of Spider-Man, and Anton had not seen any of them due to his circumstances back on Earth. When he researched opinions regarding which one he should start watching first, a lot of the netizens agreed that it would be best to start watching the ones were Toby Maguire was Spiderman.
Anton knew that it might confuse the others since the setting of the world was highly different from their world. Again, he did not care. Besides, he already warned them that the films came from another dimension and that it was highly different from their world. He also informed them that the films were fiction, so they should not take the stories in the movies seriously and reminded them to treat the films as if they were watching plays in a theater.
While watching the Spider-Man film, the only thing Anton could say was that it was a fun movie. There were so many funny moments, and it was truly an entertaining film. The moment it was done, Anton saw that everyone enjoyed it.
“I’m leaving to explore the plaza full of entertainment. The four of you stay here, and once Ishmael, his family, Tess, and her parents leave, you all can start studying the Basics of Magic,” Anton told Kirk and the others, and he immediately left the suite.
Since Anton still planned to continue watching the performances in the plaza where he found the artists, he did not need Kirk and the others with him. There was a chance that they would prefer to stay in the suite to memorize spells. The four were still in that phase where nothing matters but magic.
When that juggler led him back to the inn last night, Anton tried his best to memorize the way. It was a little easier since they used the main road. He still had to ask directions, though, but after a couple of hours, he found the place.
Anton discovered something amazing. There were more than one plaza full of artists and entertainers. He started a plan to visit all the acts in all of the plazas that had them. He preferred watching these types of entertainment compared to casinos or gambling races. Spending coins on those kinds of places felt like he was bleeding money, and after he was done, there was a feeling inside of him that he had been taken advantage of. Spending money on artists, actors, acrobats, and more was much more satisfying to him.
He skipped the plaza where he watched the entertainers the day before and moved directly to the second place where the entertainers were plying their trade. Even though it was only a few minutes after noon, there were already a lot of acts going on.

The first act that he watched was a bard singing what appeared as a very long epic tale about a heroic warrior who, after years of battling different kinds of enemies, had decided that he was too old to continue and went home only to find that his home was razed to the ground by the children of the enemies that he had vanquished. It was a tale of bravery and tragedy that brought actual tears to Anton’s eyes. In Anton’s opinion, a large part of why the tale was extremely moving was because of the mastery of the bard. The musician’s voice managed to convey nuances of triumph and tragedy. The bard’s tenor voice was crystal clear, and his vibrato was appealingly even. The bard’s command of his voice was masterful, and Anton learned a lot.
After the bard was done, Anton clapped enthusiastically and threw a couple of gold coins into the bard’s hat that was placed in front of the man. Just like the others, the bard noticed the glint of gold immediately and scrambled to snatch and hide it. The speed at which the bard had moved was both comic and surprising, making Anton laugh a little.
Anton then went to the next act, which featured what looked like four brothers performing some sort of acrobatic routine. He did not actually know if they were brothers, but they looked the same. The way the men contorted their bodies and jumped towards each other impressed Anton. Once they were done, he clapped vigorously again and threw a gold coin into the acrobats’ hat. He expected one of them to scramble and take the gold coin from their hat, and one of them did. He laughed again and moved to the next act.
After watching a couple more acts and throwing gold coin donations, Anton knew that nefarious people were watching him. He knew that they would not let him get away again, but he did not care. He enjoyed all the acts, and when he was done with all the entertainers in that plaza, he moved to the next one. When he gets a little hungry and thirsty, he would purchase food and drinks from the nearby street food stall. They were good enough to alleviate his body's demands. After that, he would return to watching the acts.
At around five in the afternoon, he felt a little tired, so he decided to return to his inn to rest and watch Spider-Man II with the others. This time, he did need a guide and could probably return to the inn without any issues since he had been using what looked like the major roads.
When he arrived at a certain road, Anton saw that he was now surrounded by six men. He was surprised since the road was still one of the major ones. He was surprised when he saw that the nearby shops started closing their doors and windows, and the remaining pedestrians disappeared. He thought that with the strict patrolling of the New Drennor guards, something like this was not going to happen. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
Of course, Anton was not afraid. He was just a little startled.
“Are you people not afraid that the guard will capture you?” Anton asked, genuinely curious.
At first, Anton expected that one of the thugs would start a long soliloquy telling him that their “gang” or “syndicate” owned these streets or something, but the men remained uncharacteristically silent and just grinned, whipped out their weapons, and started walking towards Anton.
Anton just held the men using his Telekinesis and summoned the guards by firing several Fire Balls in the sky. The blast of the Fire Balls was loud and attention-seeking seeking so after a couple of minutes, several guards appeared, and among them were several mages.
“What is happening here?” One of the men who arrived said. He looked like a wizard with his wizard robes.
“My name is Anton Sunder, and I’m a Supreme Rank wizard that’s part of the force fighting against the undead. Currently, I’m enjoying my vacation, thinking that the streets were a little safer due to the strict governance of the guards, since according to some of my colleagues, New Drennor did not want any trouble inside the kingdom while it was being attacked by the Undead Coalition, but these thugs stupidly attacked me for my coins,” Anton simply said.
