My Favorite Game Followed Me!-Chapter 755
Chapter 755
A week had passed, and Anton finally received all the items that he ordered from Darodil, the elven carpenter. That meant that it was time for him to move on. The kingdom of the forest elves was extremely beautiful, but a whole world awaited Anton to explore.
Over the last seven days, Enoril and the other young forest elves had completed Book 1: Water of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Thankfully, even after Anton left, they would be able to complete the whole cartoon since Remonulus promised them that the old elf would let them watch the said show, probably on a scheduled time, or even some sort of reward-based privilege.
Remonulus, the old Invincible Rank forest elven wizard, had agreed to include Avatar: The Last Airbender in the trade agreement between the elves and Anton regarding the spellbooks and the two books of Array that he purchased from them. Unfortunately for Remonulus, there was nothing else that interested Anton, so they could not trade for more movies from him.
With a sigh, the old elven wizard told Anton that they would probably have to make the journey to Ormunda to acquire copies of movies from Anton’s family. When the cinema started, Anton told Romina that they would not sell copies of movies, and thanks to the magic of his Diablo System, no ordinary wizard or human could copy movies from the cinema using an ordinary magic item recorder.
More than likely, the magic that forbade others from copying the films from the cinema could be bypassed by more powerful wizards, but the films were not something that would increase a mage’s power, so no powerful wizards would take the time to do something as mundane as trying to pirate the movies.
At first, the anti-copying magic that his Diablo System had only applied to Anton’s Globe of Browser Sharing, but his system sent him a notification that the magic could be extended to a specific magic item recorder. Before leaving the manor, Anton specified that the magic item recorders that Romina had purchased would be covered by the anti-copying magic. The magic was not complex. Basically, those who tried to copy the film without authorization would only see static on their recorders.
Anton thought that trade with the forest elves would benefit the family, so he told Remonulus about the anti-copying magic and that if they wanted to purchase copies of movies from his family in Ormunda, he could authorize up to one hundred magic item recorders, free of charge and would also make sure that the family would know that he allowed the elves to trade for copies of the movies, as long as the head of the cinema business would agree with the elves’ payment.
He also told Remonulus about the portal scrolls that Ormunda managed to acquire from somewhere. Anton did not disclose the information that the portal scrolls came from him. He told Remonulus that they could talk to Ormunda regarding acquiring one of their portal scrolls, so if they wanted, the kingdom would have a semi-permanent, limited portal from Ormunda to the kingdom of the forest elves.
Remonulus was surprised to hear that Ormunda had acquired the means to create portals easily. Of course, the old elf would not easily decide to allow anyone to create dimensional doorways from their kingdom to Ormunda by himself. Everyone would understand immediately that something like a portal, even a limited one, was a risk. At the very least, that option was now open to them.
The good thing about Anton’s town portal scroll was that the user of the scroll had ultimate control of the portal. Once a person used the scroll, they would gain the ability to create parties, just like inside the Diablo II game, and allow up to eight people, including the user of the scroll, to join the party system and enter the portal. Those who were not part of the party would not be able to enter the portal. The user of the scroll could also dismiss the portal wherever they were, anytime they wanted, and if the user died, the portal would automatically be dismissed. Not only that, Anton recently found out that portals that were opened by his town portal scroll only had two weeks duration, and once that was reached, the portal would disappear. What it all meant was that Anton’s portals could be made safe on the side of the user of the scroll.
He told all the information about the portal scrolls to Remonulus, so once they opened talks with Ormunda, they would be well informed.
“Those scrolls were a powerful resource that the Ormundan wizards managed to acquire! The creator of the portals should be an extremely powerful Divine Rank Wizard,” Remonulus exclaimed.
Anton agreed that his Diablo System, which was the creator of the town portal scrolls, was truly a powerful system.
Anton said goodbye to everyone and finally restarted his journey towards the northern kingdom of Enundia.
He wondered how the northern kingdom looked. Anton could not wait to find out. Unfortunately, it would take him another month more traveling inside the northern forest before he reached the kingdom, and that was if he did not get distracted somewhere and stop, just like what happened in the forest elves’ kingdom.
He had become extremely fond of the forest elves. His nights with the two lovely elven ladies, Andevon and Nemerielle was full of youthful passion, and Anton knew he would not forget them. At first, he was worried that he would fall in love with the ladies and would not be able to leave them, but thankfully, that did not happen. He was not ready to settle down.
Captain Mendrolil was extremely grateful to Anton for allowing them to fight with his powerful summons. The elven captain told him that they had learn a lot from battling with his summons.
The morning he left, all of his elven friends gathered and watched him leave. Unfortunately for Anton, it was still in the middle of winter, so he was wearing very thick clothing. He looked like a flying dumpling, since he was flying using his Telekinesis spell.
Anton returned to traveling leisurely within the forest. Even though the temperature was very low, his tremendous amount of physical stats that he acquired from his Diablo System allowed him to travel comfortably.
While flying towards the north, Anton reviewed his Diablo II characters. IN the last seven days, it was unfortunate that he had not managed to level up his Diablo Immortal character. He did manage to convert his Wizard to a Necromancer specializing in summoning, since he thought the character's summoning spells would assist him better than more attack spells. He was currently satisfied with the offensive spells that he had from his Sorceress from Diablo II.
Anton had reached the maximum level of his Warlock character. While leveling the character, he followed the Echoing Strike build and kept it that way. He was still undecided which build he would retain to use the skills in the real world. The issue he had was that his main gear in the real world was focused on the Sorceress skills, so it would be better for the build of his other characters to switch to either support or summoning skills.
He also returned to leveling up his ladder character so his ladder Druid had reached level 12. Anton was enjoying the new character so much that he had decided to switch to leveling up a ladder warlock character once he had time, instead of continuing his ladder Druid character.
