My Girlfriend is Famous Singer-Chapter 2: To The Hotel
Chapter 2: To The Hotel
After a few minutes of small talk about random things, Xyaa turned to him and asked, "What do you think of me?"
"Um?" Ronan said, confused for a moment. "You're beautiful, and you're really good at talking. I feel comfortable around you already, after just a few minutes. I'm not nervous anymore."
"Hm," Xyaa nodded with a small smile. "Was sex your goal when you approached me?"

Ronan froze. He wasn't expecting her to be so direct. Was that his goal? No, not at all. He hadn't even thought she'd agree to talk to him, let alone anything more. But he knew that's what some guys did at bars—ask girls for a one-night stand.
"No, I mean... I wouldn't say no to it, but that wasn't on my mind," Ronan said, thinking carefully before answering. He didn't want to seem as nervous as before. He'd calmed down a lot since sitting with her. "When I came over, it was just a random idea. I thought you'd reject me, so no, I wasn't thinking about that."
"But you wouldn't refuse, right?" Xyaa asked.
"I mean... I'm a guy. Unless there's some big reason not to, most guys wouldn't say no to a girl like you," Ronan replied honestly.
Xyaa nodded, and they went back to drinking in silence.
The silence stretched on. She didn't say anything more, and Ronan couldn't think of any new topics. He'd run out of things to say. So they sat there quietly for two hours, just sipping their wine. Soon, the bar was getting ready to close.
"Why are you still here? Don't you get bored just drinking wine?" Xyaa asked, breaking the silence at last.
Ronan shook his head. "I was bored before, and that's why I came here—to listen to the music and feel the energy of this place. Besides, sitting here with a beautiful girl is a lot better than staring at my friend's face back at the dorm."
Xyaa nodded, and then it was quiet again.
When the bar finally started closing, they both stood up and walked out through the door.
Xyaa turned to head right, while Ronan started walking left. He glanced at his phone. It was midnight—12:00. The city was still alive, with cars driving by and people filling the streets. "What should I do now?" Ronan muttered, looking up at the sky.
"Want to come with me?" a voice said behind him. He turned around and saw Xyaa standing there. She leaned forward slightly, her black hair strands falling over her eye, covering it of her. Her hands were clasped behind her back. Up close, she was even more striking. Her light brown skin glowed softly under the streetlights, smooth and flawless. Her full lips curved into a faint smile, showing a hint of white teeth. Her messy bun sat high on her head, with loose strands framing her cheeks and brushing her slender neck. The long white dress she wore flowed down her body, loose but elegant, hiding her shape except for the gentle curve of her chest. Her beauty was simple but impossible to ignore.
"To the hotel?" she added.
Ronan stood there, stunned. He didn't know what to say. Should he go with her?
Why not? If he did, he might not see her again. She was obviously suggesting a one-night stand, and that was fine with him. Ronan wasn't looking for a relationship either.
