Chapter 175: Marksmanship Training (E)
Clap!
Brown clapped his hands to attract everyone’s attention. They all removed their headphones, seeing him.
"Alright, it’s time for your lunch then, come on up," Brown said.
A few growls happened in the background as the four of them looked at each other and smirk.
They closed their workstations thereafter and left the room one after another.
While at it, Jin opened up his system store once again.
Earlier, he had heard another ’Ping!’ while he was engrossed in the video lectures. Now that he was no longer engrossed in the computer screen, he wanted to check the reason.

’So every time an item is added from now on, I’ll be hearing a ping? That’s good,’ Jin thought.
Earlier, he had to go by his gut and check whether a new item had been added or not. This had made things a lot more convenient for him.
When they reached outside, their eyes raised all of a sudden.
Beside them on a piece of cloth, four sniper rifles were laid. Next to it on a table, several cartridges of different dimensions were neatly arranged.
"We’ll come there after lunch, so hurry up." Brown hit the ladle on the vessel, and a metallic ring made them all line up with plates in front of him.
After eating, it was time for the Marksmanship training.
"Come and take your guns," Brown said as he handed them out the guns and their respective ammo bag.
Brown then wore a dirt-coloured hat. He had more of them and passed them all to Jin and the rest.
"Follow the dirt path towards the desert. I’ll come in a while," Brown instructed.
They did as they were told and soon reached the edge of the Oasis and stepped into the sandy desert. Unlike yesterday, shooting targets had been planted in multiple locations
"So, he was busy doing all this while we were training," Specy muttered.
"Shocking, isn’t it? I thought he would be chilling somewhere in that time period," Shadow responded while gazing at all the dummies.
Just a count would tell that there were almost a hundred of them.
VROOM!
Brown soon arrived in his white SUV and stopped there.
After getting out, he walked towards the four of them and instructed.
"In the first hour, you’ll be only doing shooting. Shoot fifty times and then exchange your sniper rifles with each other and shoot 50 with them as well.
By the end of an hour, you all should have shot two hundred rounds, if not more and should have familiarised yourself with all four rifles.
If you run out of ammo, then you can collect it from the SUV’s trunk. Any doubts?" Brown asked after finishing his instructions.
"No, Sir," They replied in unison.
"Alright, start now." With those words, Brown went back to his SUV and started with his preparation.
Meanwhile,
The others had soon taken their positions in the spots they found suitable and started shooting at targets one by one.
Jin held a Kar98k and, after getting familiar with its mechanics, started shooting at the targets in front of him.
Ice held a Walther WA 2000.
Shadow had a Dragunov SVD.
Lastly, Specy had an AWM with him.
Rounds kept being fired, and soon it was time to exchange guns.
They exchanged it with each other and then walked back to the SUV to collect another 50 rounds.
They saw that Brown had opened a large foldable tent beside the SUV.
A foldable chair was placed inside. On it, Brown sat in a completely relaxed manner.
His face had an amused expression as his hand reached to turn to the next page of a novel he was reading. On the novel’s cover, a name was written: The Reclaimer
’Hmm, it’s better than I thought,’ Brown hummed to himself as his eyes scurried past the words. The story had picked up its pace.
Tch
Shadow clicked his tongue when he saw Brown relaxing under the shade.
Jin and the rest just glanced at him and went to the SUV’s back to collect the appropriate rounds before continuing with their shooting.
An hour soon passed, and they were finally done with the shooting.
Brown was no longer busy reading and had gathered the four of them inside the tent.
"The next hour will consist of theory about the rifles which you just used. Listen to it carefully and you will benefit from it. After theory class, you’ll get another hour to practice what you’ve learnt." With that said, Brown started with his explanation.
Jin, who already had a basic understanding of firearms thanks to his early shopping at the system store, still benefited greatly after hearing Brown.
Since they had handled the rifles just an hour before, they could relate very well to everything Brown was explaining to them.
The advantages, the disadvantages, suitable positions, and out of the box ideas.
The session truly opened all of their minds as they listened to each word that came out of Brown’s mouth with utmost importance.
An hour passed.
Brown was done with the class and said, "Take the rifles and start shooting."
Without wasting any time, they picked a sniper rifle and rushed to their spots, excited to bring out their learnings in their practice.
The desert plains once again resonated with streams of gunshots, which continued until the sun touched the horizon.
"Pack up!" Brown shouted, "Carry the guns back to the hut, it’s time to start the next training." Brown said as he left in the SUV.
"God, this is so exhausting," Shadow said in exhaustion.
Specy, Jin and Ice were not doing very well. They soon dragged themselves to the hut and placed the guns back in the basement.
They soon assembled in front of the hut.
"By now you all will be very exhausted, therefore I announce with great delight that you still have two more training sessions to do today, pull yourself up or you’ll fall back," Brown snickered.
Like usual, no one laughed at his joke.
Totally unaffected, Brown continued, "Next is Close Quarter Combat," a grin formed on Brown’s face, "and you’ll be fighting against me." freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
