"By the way, I'll be leaving for my journey tomorrow."

Liliana's body stiffened at his words, but she quickly regained her composure and gave a small nod.

"Alright, I understand," she replied softly. "Be careful on your way. And make sure to prioritize your safety. Even though you said the Dragon Ancestor poses no threat to you, you must not let your guard down. He has lived for thousands of years—there's no telling what hidden thoughts he might have toward you."

"One more thing, stay vigilant against the hidden races as well. If they dare to cross you, don't show them any mercy. Let them see your strength. Other than that..."

Liliana continued speaking, offering Leon all kinds of advice, like a mother worrying over a child about to set off on a long journey.

Leon didn't interrupt her, simply smiling as he listened.

"And lastly... don't forget about me and the children. No matter where you go, we'll always be the ones waiting for you."

With those words, Liliana fell silent, but Leon could feel her body trembling slightly, as if she were holding back her sorrow.

Letting out a soft sigh, Leon paused in drying her hair and wrapped his arms around her from behind, holding her close.

"Thank you for your concern, Liliana," he murmured gently. "You don't have to worry—I could never forget you or the children. You are my home, and no matter what, I will always return to you."

Feeling the warmth of his embrace and the sincerity in his words, Liliana gradually calmed down.

No matter how much she tried to deceive herself, the sorrow of Leon's departure still weighed heavily on her heart.

It frustrated and embarrassed her, yet she knew it was proof of her love. If she felt nothing, then something would truly be wrong with her.

After a few moments, Leon gently loosened his embrace.

Turning to face her directly, he lifted her chin and gave a faint smile.

"To be honest, seeing you worry about me like this makes me happy. It gives me a warmth I can't quite explain," he whispered softly.

Before Liliana could react, Leon swiftly captured her lips in a kiss.

She was startled but didn't resist, letting him do as he pleased.

It wasn't an aggressive or possessive kiss, but a gentle one—filled with love that belonged only to them.

They remained lost in the warmth of each other until Leon finally pulled away.

A thin thread of saliva connected their lips, a fleeting yet strangely mesmerizing sight.

Leon brushed his thumb over the corner of Liliana's lips and smiled playfully. "Since I'm leaving tomorrow, how about we spend the day together?"

Liliana raised an eyebrow, her tone carrying a hint of hesitation. "Spend time together? You mean..."

Her voice trailed off, and a faint blush dusted her usually cold and beautiful face.

Leon's lips twitched before he flicked her forehead lightly.

"That's not what I meant."

"Ouch!" Liliana groaned, rubbing her forehead while shooting Leon a dissatisfied look. "Then what do you mean?"

Leon let out a small sigh before gently massaging the spot he had flicked. "A date, of course. Let's take a stroll through the capital and enjoy some time alone together."

Liliana was immediately intrigued, but the thought of their four little girls made her hesitate.

Sensing her concern, Leon rested his forehead against hers and said, "We can leave the children at the palace. As much as we love being with them, we also need time for ourselves—otherwise, our relationship might get dull. Besides, we've never really had any private time together, have we? What do you think?"

Liliana remained silent for a moment before a smile slowly formed on her lips. She nodded.

"Alright, let's go."

As it happened, her work was already done, giving her the perfect opportunity to relax.

And Leon had a point. Ever since they had confessed their feelings for each other, they had never truly spent time alone.

They were always surrounded by their children—not that she minded, but she agreed that having special moments together would only strengthen their bond.

Without further words, they quickly got dressed.

Fortunately, Liliana had spare clothes in Leon's room—something he had prepared intentionally so she could change after their intercourse.

Hand in hand, they exchanged happy smiles.

"Let's go."

With that, they stepped out of the room and set off for the capital city of Erantum.

...

Fifteen minutes later...

*Knock!*

"Daddy, are you awake? If so, can we play today?"

Standing in front of Leon's bedroom door, Fiona knocked gently while calling out to him.

After waiting for a moment with no response, she furrowed her brows slightly.

"Is Daddy not answering?"

Just then, Charlotte appeared behind her, curiosity written all over her face.

Iris and Stella followed closely, wearing similar expressions.

Fiona shook her head, her tone sullen. "He didn't answer. Maybe he's still sleeping?"

"Sleeping? That's possible," Iris replied, pursing her lips slightly.

However, Stella suddenly shook her head in disagreement. "As far as I remember, Uncle Leon rarely wakes up late. He usually gets up around this time and heads to the practice field for his morning routine. How about we check there?"

Hearing her suggestion, the others exchanged glances before nodding in agreement.

"Alright, let's go," Charlotte said.

With that, they set off together toward the nearby outdoor practice area.

When they arrived, they were surprised to find the practice area completely empty—there wasn't a single person in sight!

"Huh? Daddy's not here," Fiona muttered, her tone sullen.

Stella looked embarrassed and quickly apologized. "I'm sorry, Fiona, Iris, Charlotte. I didn't mean to mislead you. As far as I know, Uncle Leon usually practices here around this time."

Seeing her flustered, Iris gently took her hand and reassured her, "Don't worry, Sister. We're not blaming you."

Her soothing words immediately calmed Stella, allowing her to regain her composure.

Just then, a woman's confused voice called out from behind them.

"Hmm? Young Ladies Charlotte, Iris, Fiona, and Stella? What brings you all here?"

They quickly turned around to see Celine approaching with a puzzled expression.

"Good morning, Celine," Charlotte greeted with a small smile. "It's nothing. We were just looking for Daddy, but he's not here. He's probably still asleep in his room."

"You're looking for His Majesty Leon?" Celine seemed momentarily surprised.

Noticing her reaction, Charlotte had a feeling Celine knew exactly where their father had gone.

"Do you know where Daddy is?" Charlotte asked expectantly.

Celine smiled and nodded. "Of course. I happened to see him just fifteen minutes ago with Her Majesty the Demon Empress."

The four girls froze, exchanging stunned glances.

"With Mommy? Where did they go?" Iris asked, clearly confused.

Celine chuckled. "They went to the capital. Judging by the way they were dressed, it looks like they're having a good time together."
