My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 113: Home Sweet Home?
After that, Dennis walked toward the seven girls who were still totally wrapped up in their own world, chatting cheerfully in the middle of the room. He looked around once more as he walked, taking everything in, and then stood near them.
"I’m home," Dennis said.
The room went dead silent in an instant as Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne turned to look at Dennis. For just a few seconds, Dennis could see that they looked annoyed, as if they were irritated by the interruption, but once they realized it was Dennis standing there, all seven of them immediately brightened up and stood. Then, they instantly lunged at Dennis again, knocking him flat on his back once more.
"Ow... why do you guys keep pouncing on me?" Dennis said.
"Welcome back home, honey," Daisy said cheerfully.
"How was today, my husband? Was everything okay at school?" Diana asked.
"I missed you," Dahlia added.
"You’re finally home; we were bored without you here, you know," Donna added.
"How was your day, hon? Did you have fun out there?" Deborah asked in a soft voice.
"Baby, you’re finally home; I’m hungry," added Dulcia, with her mouth covered in snack crumbs.
"Welcome back, dear. Do you want to eat, take a bath, or... me?" Daphne asked, acting all seductive and teasing.
"Hey... everyone get up first... I can’t breathe," Dennis replied while stroking their heads one by one.
Then the seven of them began to get up one by one and helped Dennis to his feet. After that, Dennis unbuttoned his shirt and looked around again.
"You guys made a few little changes to our apartment, huh," Dennis remarked sarcastically.
"Yep, just a few changes," Diana replied casually with a smile, then she grabbed Dennis’s arm and bit it without asking.
"I kept my arsenal on the wall, that’s okay, right?" Dahlia asked.
"It’s already up there, what else am I supposed to say," Dennis answered.
"Thanks, love," Dahlia replied with a relieved smile, then she wrapped her arms around Dennis and kissed him.
After breaking the kiss, Dennis turned to look at Donna, who was standing next to him with both hands behind her back.
"And our bathroom is now a server room?" Dennis asked.
"Oh... is that not allowed? I figured we already have a bathroom in the bedroom, so the one out here was just going to waste," Donna answered, fidgeting as she tried to sidestep her mistake.
"Sigh... fine, it’s okay, but please put the door back on so people can’t see in," Dennis replied, scratching his head.
"Yay... thanks, sugar," Donna replied, jumping to hug Dennis right at his head, so his face ended up right against her chest.
"Ugh... yeah, yeah... get down," Dennis replied, trying to gently lower Donna.
Then Dennis turned to look toward the kitchen and turned back again to see Deborah, who was also staring back at him with a smile and her head tilted. Dennis could see that Deborah was wearing a white lab coat and seemed perfectly comfortable in it.
"Now, how are we supposed to cook and eat?" Dennis asked sarcastically.
"In the kitchen, hon. I didn’t change the layout of the kitchen; I just added my equipment," Deborah answered casually.
"Sigh... alright. And this?" Dennis asked while patting the punching bag next to him.
"Oh... I put that up for training. This is the only room with enough space, so... that’s how it is," Dulcia answered.
"Come on, everyone... let’s clear out our snack trash now," Daphne said cheerfully, starting to pick up the scattered garbage.
Finally, the six of them got busy picking up the trash, including Diana, who let go of her bite to help clean up. Daisy walked over and stood next to Dennis, hugging his arm. Dennis turned to look at Daisy beside him.
"And you just let all of this happen?" Dennis asked.
"Yep... a few changes won’t hurt, right? I already told them not to go overboard decorating our apartment," Daisy answered casually, though Dennis didn’t look satisfied with her answer since what they had done had completely transformed the vibe of their home.
Dennis studied his wife’s face closely—the girl who used to be just one person but was now seven different people. For the first time, he was seeing his true wife without being crowded by the six other personalities.
Daisy looked happy and didn’t seem lonely, though there was a small flicker of sadness on her face, maybe because the six people who used to be inside her were now standing right in front of her and were real. In the end, Dennis could only sigh; he then released Daisy’s grip on his arm and pulled her close, holding her against him.
"I’m going to go take a shower first," Dennis said.
Dennis released his hold and started walking toward the bedroom, but then "grab," Daisy and the six others immediately caught his hand.
"What is it?" Dennis asked.
"Don’t go in," all seven of them answered.
"Wait, why not? I want to shower, change my clothes, and rest. I just got back and I’m all sweaty, you know," Dennis replied.
"Okay... go in... but don’t be shocked," Daisy replied.
Finally, they let him go. Naturally, he was confused, but then he turned and grabbed his bedroom doorknob. When the door opened, soft music immediately played, making the heart feel calm and peaceful. "Huh," Dennis opened the door wide and his eyes instantly bulged; his jaw practically hit the floor. It turned out his sofa was now inside his room, merged with his bed. The television was hanging on the wall in front of his bed, the coffee table was positioned right there, a disco ball hung from the ceiling, and the bathroom door had been replaced with frosted glass.
The wardrobe had moved to the wall near the sofa, with a bookshelf full of comics or novels next to it. His bed looked much bigger, more comfortable, could rotate via remote, and was definitely sensual, complete with several heart-shaped pillows bearing each of the seven girls’ names. The room truly looked like a sleazy hotel suite designed solely for sleeping in and getting intimate in every possible way.
Slowly, Dennis turned to look at Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne, who were all fidgeting with blushing faces behind him.
"Um... do you want to sleep with the seven of us right now?" all seven of them asked at once in a seductive tone, their cheeks flushing red.
"You’re... not mad, right?" Daisy asked, looking anxious as she watched Dennis stand there in silence.
"Sigh... how can I even be mad? It’s already happened... whatever, I’m going to shower. We’ll eat after that, and sleep can wait until later, okay," Dennis said, resigned to his fate.
"Okay," Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne replied cheerfully.
"Yep, we’ll wait, honey," Daisy added happily.
Then the seven of them headed back out of the room to finish tidying up their living area. Dennis could hear the sound of someone hammering out front; it was likely Donna reattaching the bathroom door she had stripped off to build her server room, complete with a set of high-tech computers inside. Dennis just sighed, turned around, and walked toward his own bathroom. He gripped the handle, bracing himself for another surprise, but when he pushed the door open, the bathroom was still normal, and he felt a wave of relief.
He stepped inside, closed the door, stripped off his clothes, and stepped into the shower. As the warm water soaked his head, which had been overheating from stress, he started thinking about his future.
"If it’s going to be like this, I’m going to have to work my tail off as a Hunter so I can buy a house and give them each their own room... but first things first, the keys. As soon as this city get out of the core of darkness, I’m getting that sorted," Dennis muttered in his head under the spray of the shower.
[True, Master, especially since they’ll eventually become permanent.]
"Please don’t go there yet, Sami. I’m trying my hardest not to let my mind wander in that direction," Dennis said in his head.
[Very well, Master, but don’t ignore the possibility, because you will only continue to grow stronger.]
"Yeah, yeah... please just shut up and don’t add to my stress. Right now, I just want to relax and be calm," Dennis replied.
[As you wish, Master.]
Just as he was starting to relax a bit and feel some peace under the shower spray—which felt amazing after being out all day—the bathroom door opened. Dennis turned, and his eyes bugged out when he saw Daisy, Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne all walk in together, completely naked. They stepped straight into the shower stall even though he was already in there. Dennis immediately felt cramped, yet his heart started racing as they began kissing him, and of course, things moved right along to other activities without needing to be asked or explained.
"Uuh... if I don’t think about the logistics and the finances... having seven wives is actually pretty great," Dennis muttered in his head, clearly thinking with the wrong head.
