Chapter 29 - Valeria: the upper world woman

Alan, you're meant to carry the fate of all nine of us, not just two. Right, big sis Anna?"

Out of nowhere, a woman suddenly appeared, draped in flowing purple robes, her face hidden behind a purple veil. Her long, pinkish hair flowed down her back, swaying gently with each movement.

[What are you doing here, Valeria?]

Valeria walked towards Alana and tried to touch him, but Elena and Cristina stopped her.

"You should be the last one to be involved with him now, and you very well know the reason," Elena said, holding Valeria's hand.

"You all are so cruel to me," Valeria said. "You three can stay with him, but I can't—it's unfair," Valeria continued, her expression becoming a little sad.

[Now it's not the time, Valeria; you are one of the major targets of those Asuras and all other origin beings who sided with them. One clear mistake, and they will all find him, and other's sacrifices will be wasted.]

"Yeah, as big sis said, you should wait a little longer and trust in him," Cristina said. "And big sis, please stop talking; it's weird to see you talking through his body. It looks like we were doing the ritual with you."

[Tch!! Annoying brat.]

Valeria knew what they were talking about and the importance of her role in this war. She knew the outcome of this deadly war, and their future—everything depended on him. But it had been many years since she saw him, and she didn't think of anything else; she just wanted to see him again.

"Okay, I will go now, but at least let me touch him," Valeria said.

Elena and Cristina nodded, knowing what she was feeling, knowing it had been many years since she saw him.

Valeria touched his cheek and hugged him tightly, softly saying, "I missed you, darling; you don't know how much I have waited for this moment." As she said, tears started falling from her eyes.

"I will wait for you in the upper world."

Knowing she had a chance, she gave a soft peck on the lips and, with a playful smile, stuck out her tongue at Elena and Cristina before vanishing from there.

"This bitch," they both said in unison, sighing.

"Well, I can't blame her; she suffered the hardest out of all nine of us," Elena said.

[Now, go home quickly. After all, you both did the ritual after so many years, and remember, don't use your powers frequently.]

Alan woke up to find himself sleeping in a bed with Elena and Cristina on each side of him. As usual, he found Christina drooling and sleeping like a child, while Elena tightly held his right hand as if someone would take him away.

He took a look at the room and found it was his room.

"Fuck, it still hurts. Why did both of them bite so hard?" Alan said, rubbing his hand on his neck.

After recalling all the events that happened at that time, he had a question in his mind: Why did he lose consciousness? He should have been able to see, listen, and hear with his soul world, but why didn't it work?

"Is it because they are too powerful, or is the ritual they both did too powerful?" Alan thought.

"But thanks to this ritual, our connection became stronger. Now I feel they both accepted this marriage from the bottom of their heart."

"Also, I never thought I would reach the luminous rank. I also received skills and absolute skills, and my boring life is becoming more fun thanks to these two beautiful women," Alan said, caressing Christina's hair.

"Also, another woman whom I forgot—the almighty Anna," Alan said while chuckling.

[Finally, you remembered me; I thought you forgot about me, you ungrateful punk.]

"Haha! How could I forget the one and only, the mighty Anna?"

[Hmm! At least you understood the supremacy of Anna.]

"Your shamelessness knows no bounds."

[Hmph....]

"By the way, I received another absolute skill. Can a person have more than one absolute skill? From what I've seen or read, I didn't find anyone who has more than one absolute skill," Alan asked.

[Many people in the universe have more than one absolute skill. I am sure in this world many have more than one absolute skill. Some have more than two, but their numbers can be counted on fingers. You are an anomaly because you have—"]

"Yeah, I know I have you."

[Tch.]

"Now, show me what I gained after the ritual," Alan said.
