Chapter 126: Chapter One Hundred And Twenty-Six: Bloodlust.

Adrik stayed up all night waiting for Lucifer to be back from where he went, if there’s anything he valued that would be honesty in every dealings he had with people.

But he had promised him that they were going to find Narika, but the only thing he did for the past six hours was wait for him to be back from where he went, so that they could plan their next step towards invading the Crystal palace.

Adrik didn’t like the way he was kept in the dark, he didn’t find his life useful anymore and that has only stayed that way ever since he found out about his identity.

It seemed as if he was nothing but a ceremonial son of his, who didn’t have any responsibilities but he was sure as hell that he wouldn’t follow his steps about torturing the soul of the innocents just because he’s his son.

He could be different.

He’s not Lucifer.

He would prove to him that he was raised up better by his mom, unlike his other children who were ruined to the point of no return. How could he live and breathe seeing what his children have become?

Rogue...evil creatures who take joy at the sight of people suffering. Adrik couldn’t bear the thoughts of Narika being in this kind of place with him. He would rather go back to his place in the ghost world with her, that was where she belonged with him in the first place and not here.

So, that’s the plan. He finds Narika, and he leaves hell with her. She’s too pure for the sort of lifestyle everyone was living here. He would rather sacrifice what he is, just like the both of them would do the same by not accepting the prophecy. Lucifer would have his other children to play his silly games with.

He can’t hurt Narika’s family twice, and once he’s successfully free from the curse of the prophecy. He would come back to free Polina’s soul from wherever Lucifer had locked her up.

He knew that he didn’t deserve her, nor her niece either. But he couldn’t see himself living without Narika, and as long as she’s still alive. His father would stop at nothing to use her to get him back to do what the prophecy demands from both of them.

Adrik’s mind went back to his conversation with Tagon. When he tried to dwell more on what exactly was Tagon’s reason for what he had done. He suddenly felt a weird sensation running all over his body.it felt the same as to the day his powers had taken possession of his body, and he had stormed hell in rage in search of Narika.

Ever since that day, he has been afraid of what he is. He was afraid of losing control since he was scared to hurt his loved ones. This was the reason why he hasn’t approached his mother, and Vanessa yet in a long time. He was afraid to hurt her. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

But a painful growl left his lips, and he fell to the table in front of him while he was breathing frantically. A possessed evil growl left his lips the next second he tried to stand up, but he fell to the floor and watched the way his hands were shaking tremendously

"What’s wrong with me?"

He asked no one in particular, until he felt a sadistic chuckle that came within him. His dark side. The beast within him laughed at his ignorance, but before he could ask the next question. He was flung to the wall where a mirror was hanging in his father’s bathroom.

He saw his red eyes reflecting in the mirror, and he raised his hands up to touch the devil horn that protruded at the two corners of his temple. He was turning into his beast-like form, but why now?

He couldn’t think of eating anything that might have been poisoned, to help ease out the creature in him. Since he had been too worried about his girl, he hadn’t eaten since yesterday night.

Adrik tried to control his ability, but it was spiraling out of his control. It was stronger than him and there’s no way he could get it to stop. This is the first time he was transforming into his devil-like form, and the experience was painful.

Kill!

It roared at him.

He needed blood.

So, he used his speed and came out of his father’s room. The two guards who were guarding outside the door, screamed in fear of their life when the door was destroyed, and there stood the devil in his form. He was angry and hungry.

When he saw the two men outside, gone was the soft Adrik who vowed never to give into his animalistic urges, gone was the upright and judgemental man who wasn’t in agreement with the way of life around here.

His fangs bared out, and he wasted no time to grab one out of the two and drank his blood from his neck, he drained the living soul out of him but it wasn’t enough.

The next man who tried to run for his life was dragged back, but he pleaded for mercy and it did give Adrik joy to hear him pleading for his pathetic life, but when was the devil being so kind?

He ripped out his heart, before pushing his dead body to the floor, yet it wasn’t enough to cure the bloodlust inside of him. So, when he tried to step forward to hunt for more, he fell back inside his father’s room by a strong force that had him growling in anger, when he saw Azazel, Ramiel and Dagan standing in front of the door, just like him. They were also in their true form.

He growled in anger. Especially at Dagan who bashed his hands together, and straightened his neck as if he was sure that he was going to win this fight. He wanted to teach him a lesson.

"He’s gone rogue. Where’s father?" Azazel turned to Dagan.

"It’s his first transition. It’s expected, but we can’t have him killing his own people. That’s crazy.’’Dagan replied, keeping his eyes on Adrik who was studying them, and trying to get exactly what their issue with him was.

But he could see how deeply vexed he was, and if their father isn’t here anytime or Abbadon. He’s not sure that the three of them combined can stop a raging beast, especially the likes of him that was superior to them all.

"When is he not crazy? Let’s get this over with." This was the first time Ramiel has spoken, since Adrik arrived but right now he was scared because he doesn’t fancy getting injured unlike his brothers.

But under his watch, he saw Dagan and Azazel taking on an angry Adrik, who didn’t didn’t look like he’s going to calm down any time soon.

Where the hell is Lucifer?
