Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 133 - One Hundred And Thirty-Three: What Is he hiding?
The Underworld.
Lucifer’s palace, Hell.
~~~
The trio, Dagan, Azazel and Ramiel fell to the ground and grunted in pain and humiliation, at finding out that it was a bad idea thinking that they could hold off Adrik from killing everyone in hell because of his rage.
At this point neither of them, could do something so simple as holding off their brothers who were having problems controlling himself at his first transition. It’s really going to be bad that their father comes back to see that everyone is dead except for his children.
"We can’t continue this way." Azazel breathed tiredky, while Ramiel was left speechless because he wasn’t one who liked involving himself in anything stressful." At this rate, we wouldn’t be able to stop him if he entered the human world."
For the first time in history, Azazel was worried about something else, that isn’t himself and Aurora. It dazzled his other brothers that he was talking like Adrik’s who would rather forfeit his calling as the chosen one, just to keep everyone on earth safe.
But unfortunately, what he doesn’t know is that there’s no end to evil. There’s no end to sin taking its place in the world, as long as their father is still alive.
"That would be much better than to have our asses beaten up, it’s humiliating and i need to feed." Ramiel confessed, standing up to take his position while Dafan, had ignored their rantings and went for the silver chain that his father had kept in case of such emergencies.
The induced chain was to help weaken the demon instincts, that was fighting to let lose in case any of them had gone rogue, and Adrik was everything beyond rogue.
The twins watched the way Dagan rolled the chain around Adrian’s hand, he tried to get it over to his other hands but was slammed to the wall, but he was up on his feet immediately.
Dagan is the second strongest after Abbadon, and what he takes pride in is keeping up his reputation. It would really be a huge shame for the prince of Envy, to be humiliated by his younger brother.
"What are your asses waiting for? Hold him down! " Dagan yelled at them, and Azazel rolled his eyes before going to kick Adrik at his feet, which sent him kneeling to the ground.
He growled angrily, but what amazed them was the fact that he hasn’t done anything outrageous like ripping their heart from their body. It seems the demon essence in him was strong enough to notify him that they were family, and family don’t kill one another.
"Ramiel, try not to let him move his other hand." Dagan commanded, as he rolled the chain around his two hands. It was expected that the moment the chain touches a demon who’s transforming, he goes weak. But surprisingly, nothing happened.
"Why is it not working?" Azazelasked from behind, his hold on him was getting loose and it wouldn’t be long before he got free.
"I don’t know.I just...’’Dagan’s voice was no longer heard, because Adrik had flung him away from the room.
"What the...’’Ramiel said, before under his watchful eyes he was raised up in the air, and when he tried to use his power on Adrik. To hurt him, he was fast enough to rip his hands out of his body while his red eyes screamed hate at him.
"Ramiel!" Azazel yelled, coming for his brother where he was lying on the floor after Adrik had disposed of him like trash.
Adrik was uncontrollable.
They were wrong about him not hurting anyone one of them, but what sent Azazel batshit crazy was him smirking at him. He taunted him to do something whilst he knew that he couldn’t do anything.
But that smile died on his face, when a much stronger force slammed him to the wall before Azazel turned over to see his father in his true form.
He turned to look at where he was with Ramiel, whose injuries were taking time to heal, and his arms were regenerating.
"Where’s Abaddon?" Lucifer asked, looking swiftly at Adrik to see him regaining his consciousness.
He got no response from Azazel because he looked like he could murder Adrik right now. " It can’t be helped, the girl is the only one who can help calm him down. She needs to be brought here, father." Azazel reminded him.
"I can stop him, there’s no need for the girl. Call the Royal specialist on your way out." Lucifer told Azazel, who calmed down a bit when he looked at Ramiel to see red eyes shooting up at him, to assure him that he was okay. He wasted no time to help him up.
"He’s gone insane." Ramiel said, looking at his father trying to control Adrik, but the two were at odds with each other. It would have been fun to sit and watch to see who wins, but the both of them were tired and it was time to know where exactly Adrik has flung Dagan to, since there’s no sight of him yet.
"This isn’t going to stop until a while, the only option left is to get his mate over here." Azazel told Ramiel, before he heard a scoff above them and they looked up to see Abbadon.
"Mate my ass." He uttered under his breeze before walking away from the scene, and Nina was already rushing in with a limping Dagan behind her.
"You are alive?" Ramiel mocked him.
"It’s going to take more than him to keep me down. The motherfucker would have lt coming from me, once he’s back to his senses." Dagan said, wiping the blood at the corner of his lips.
"Yeah, whatever. I think dad is hiding something from us, and it’s about the girl. He didn’t look happy when i told him that his mate is needed here, to calm him down." Azazel told his brothers his suspicion.
"Well, he’s down now. So there’s no need to worry." Dagan pointed over to see Adrik on the floor, with Nina holding a syringe. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
He didn’t take Azazel’s words seriously, before he got in between him and placed his hands on their shoulders. "How does getting high and drunk sounds?"
At first, Azazel didn’t understand why he avoided his questions about his father. But it isn’t his business whatever he plans on doing with Narika.
But Adrik?
He’s worried about his brother.
He’s sure Lucifer was hiding something, but what is it?
What is his secret?
