Chapter 136: Chapter One Hundred And Thirty-Six: Polina...She’s Gone!

Cain walked hastily towards Alex’s room, only to hear the moans coming from his room. He seems to have a guest, but Cain knew it was no one important since this wasn’t the first time he had walked in on him being busy with his whores.

He made his presence known by the creaking sound of the door, as Cassidy, his favorite acquaintance, had to mutter some words under her breath before she was pushed by Alex.

"Cain, what’s wrong?" He asked, fumbling with his belt while Cassidy stood up stark naked in front of both men. She has no shame whatsoever and that’s why Alex still kept her around, she knew her position here and certainly the part where she understood that, made it more easier to make her accessible to Alex, than the others who tried to think that he’s anything but a one ladies man.

Adrian’s mother could testify to that, as well as Nelson and Polina’s mother too.

Cain wasn’t able to say anything, but looked at Cassidy before he understood what that meant, and he turned to face her with a scowl on her face.

"Get dressed, Cassidy and get out." He ordered, not in a soft tone for her to know how serious he was. But she was definitely high or something, when she made the mistake of disregarding his orders.

"But we aren’t done yet. I still want to stay here and play with you, daddy." Cassidy purred, her hands moving up as it drew circles on his chest. Cassidy was definitely of age range with his daughter, and Alex fancied his women young, the younger the better. Since they were easy to manipulate, until he acted out by slapping her and grabbing her jaw.

"You will learn to understand your place here, bitch. You do exactly as i say, now get out." He said, taking his gun out as her eyes widened in fear, before she took her clothes and wasted no more time before running in fear of her life.

"Puttana (whore)" Alex cursed under his breath, before taking his cigarette from the ashtray. " So, what’s the good news that had you ruining my moment.?" His eyes stayed on him, as Cain’s face widened into a smile and that made him know that whatever he had to say, wouldn’t make him angrier than he was.

"I have found him. He’s smart enough to change his name and left the state for good. Just like you predicted, boss. He lives on the outskirts of town with his wife."Cain paused, before handing a file to him which he took with desperate hands.

He watched as Alex went through the files, until he stopped at seeing another name apart from that of his son and his wife. He looked up at Cain, with a huge smile on his face as if he just won a lottery. "You have got to be kidding me."

"Congratulations boss, you are a grandfather.’’Cain congratulated him while he went back to reading about his grandchild. He had a granddaughter.

Asked couldn’t express the deep joy within him at finding out that unlike Polina, and Adrian. Nelson has expanded the family, and gave him his first grandchild.

Narika Mary Singh.

He read out her name, and loved the way her name rolled out of his lips. He couldn’t wait to see her. He couldn’t wait to hear her talk, was she tall like Nelson? Did she carry the Indian’s eye color? Fuck! Alex was more anxious than ever.

"I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to get a close glance to see what she looked like. But i must say from her pictures, that she’s beautiful, boss." Cain added, and it made Alex wonder if he’s over excited just like him too.

He’s a manwhore, and the thought of her calling his grandchild beautiful did something to him. He didn’t care if the compliment was genuine or not, but what he knew is that he didn’t want the likes of her around her.

That’s what he thought, until he realized that the said grandchild was a full grown adult. She’s twenty one years of age, and he had missed a whole lot. He wasn’t there for her, he wasn’t included in her life and it’s all his fault.

Maybe if he had allowed Nelson to be with the woman he claimed he loved, he wouldn’t have missed out on the fun he could have with his grandchild?

"Boss, what’s wrong?" Cain asked, seeing the sadness forming in his eyes.

"Why do i feel bad?" He asked no one in particular, before turning to face him."I wasn’t there for her, Cain."His voice was filled with guilt and regret. But knowing what sort of man he was, Cain knew that him feeling emotional was just for a while.

"Boss, i would suggest you rest. You are stressed for the day, tomorrow is another day to bring your family over here. Then, you can make up for the time lost with them, especially with your granddaughter."Cain took the file from his hands, as Alex placed his hands on his head. He was having a painful headache, that not fucking or taking medications could stop it.

"My drugs from the table." He told Cain, who looked at him as if he was crazy. Yeah, because he was. Who takes hard drugs when they are sick?

"Sir, I would..." Cain tried talking him out of it, but his phone choosed to ring at that particular moment, and when Alex raised his phone up to see Doctor Max was calling. He dropped his cigarette immediately and accepted the call hoping for the good news.

Afterall, it’s been over a month since he gave the doctor the time he needed to get his daughter up on her two feets.

"It’s Alex speaking." He made his presence known, as he couldn’t really hear what exactly he was trying to say, because his background was noisy but that didn’t change the part where he noticed his heavy breathing.

"What’s wrong, Doctor? Don’t text my patience and tell me what the hell is going on?" He shouted, before hitting his hand hard on his table in frustration.

"I’m so sorry sir.." The doctor said, before finally revealing the words that made Alex wonder if truly he knew exactly who he was talking to, and why exactly he didn’t kill him in the first place.

"Polina, she’s gone."
