Chapter 140: Chapter One Hundred And Forty: Kill Her!

Nina hasn’t been scared all her life than she was right now. She hasn’t been able to see Adrik in his full form because she wasn’t present when he walked into hell on the ceremony day.

She was busy taking care of his babymama, and she knew that if she didn’t do anything to save herself right now, she wouldn’t be able to see the next day.

She looked up from where they were hovering in the sky, what if he decide to throw her from here? She’s definitely going to be a goner. Without doing much, she closed her eyes while saying a silent prayer since he hadn’t killed her in the first place.

Adrik growled in anger, not just at her but at his father but he knew that his next strategy right now, was going to take Narika from Oregon’s Palace.

Oregon was right, how can a father wish for the downfall of his very own child? He has always felt nothing towards Lucifer but his obligation to him as his son, which he didn’t fully with a clean heart. He was only trying to consider the prophecy, until now. He has given him a good reason why he’s going to run away with Narika.

The last thing he would want was to see Hell destroyed, but Adrik isn’t going to back down without a fight if he hurts Narika. He was hoping that she’s okay, and waiting for him to save her. He hasn’t thought much about the possibility of finding out that Baram has taken control of her body.

As much as he was forced to kill the woman he was with right now, he knew that she’s the only person who knew exactly where Narika was. Oregon is being threatened and he has sent her over to give him the hint about what’s happening, but at this point he doesn’t know who to trust anymore.

He flew down on the cold grounds of Oregon’s palace, it was quiet outside here and he had to suspect that something was wrong. Since, the front gate had always been filled with guards, but at the same time he had to trust this woman and Oregon.

So, without wasting much time he released Nina who fell to the ground, who was wheezing and trying to calm her racing heart. But he had no time for any of her drama, so he grabbed her by her arms to meet his face. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

"Speak. Where is she?" He asked in a husky tone, the dominance leaving his tone made Nina know that there’s no way she’s leaving here alive, without giving him what she wants. He hasn’t been able to control himself back there at hell, and has gone on a killing spree.

But right now, he was conversing with her without ripping her apart just like he had done to others. But anyway, it isn’t her business right now, since she has done her part.

"He sent me over, I was forced to do this and i want you to know that Oregon was left with no choice but to keep this away from you. Your father has been threatening him." She sobbed, when she realized what her next statement was going to be. In order to clear the misunderstanding here, she would have to tell him about Sakura and his baby.

Adrik wasn’t able to think rationally, because he’s still trying to control his beast but it seems to him that this woman was trying to stall time. But for what?

Until he heard a swift sound, and ducked immediately while his dark wings spread out to protect the woman from the sudden invasion of his father’s army.

"Are you okay?" He asked Nina, who was crying. It annoyed him because he hadn’t given her a reason to cry yet, since she’s doing a good job at hiding something from him.

He looked back, his eyes searching outside the dark night to see how many of them were out there. There weren’t many. They were three but he was wise to hear the irregular heartbeat coming from their position, and he wasted no time to sort them out.

Their screams were a sweet melody to his ear, but he didn’t relish in that much before he moved back to where Nina was, and dragged her up before kicking into Oregon’s lair.

It looked deserted, it was as if everyone knew about the war Lucifer was waging here and Oregon being smart as he was, has done something to save his people.

He pushed Nina forward, as she stumbled but regained stability instantly. "Lead the way." He growled at her, as she nodded and made her way into the secret passage Oregon had given her access to.

With each step they took closer to the target, Adrik’s nose flared up at catching Narika’s scent, and when they stopped in front of a gate, Nina tried to talk to him but he pushed her away and she fell and hit her head on the wall, losing consciousness immediately.

He kicked the door open to meet with darkness, what sort of game was Oregon playing with him?

He had to ask, but he wasn’t bothered by it until he saw her there standing a few meters away from him, with her large doe eyes staring at him with confusion on her face.

Thankfully whatever it was that his father had done to make her sleep for ages didn’t work.

"Narika." He called, stepping close to her. Relief washed through him at seeing that she’s alright, but she didn’t recognize him in his true form.

That’s right.

She has no idea what exactly he is, and what she was too.

"A..drik." Narina called when she finally captured who was standing in front of her. Adrik’s beast growled hearing her call for him.

Mate!

He chuckled, trying to calm the beast within him as he stepped closer to Narika, only to stop in his tracks when Sakura came from behind and slashed her throat in front of him.

"Noo!" Adrik shouted.

"Hello, Adrik." Sakura smiled evilly, while Adrik stood, shocked to the core as he watched the way Narika choked on her breath. The blood ran out of her neck, as she crawled forward to him only to finally slump to her death on the floor.

His fangs shot out of him, likewise his wings as he growled in abject anger before grabbing Sakura, and hoisted her up in the air.

Kill her!
