A gun went off and a body fell to the ground, earning fearful gasps from the guards and maids that were present in the living room, where Jason stood aside while his father in-law took laws into his hands to seek justice for the sudden disappearance of his daughter.

It sounded funny. But yeah she disappeared into thin air and the cctv had no footage whatsoever to see anyone who might have breaked into the house. Jason hasn’t been able to breathe without having his heart jump when the third body fell to the ground.

Sergei Monroe can be a loving man, but when it comes down to his business and family he took no shit from anyone to hurt the two most priced things in his life, and yet someone brave enough had tampered with him. They took his only child.

Marilyn was gone without any evidence that someone broke in, and even if they did. Jason was on cue, to pound the alarm for his men to search the perimeter before the intruder, if he was human, takes her away from the estate.

The security was tight around the house but right now Jason knew nothing about how everything went down. He didn’t know if this was Alex’s handwork, because that would only mean calling for not just the death of his son, but him as well.

He has kept calm about Adrik’s situation because he lost hope, after finding out that he’s not his son. But that doesn’t remove the feeling he had for the child who had grown on him, and right now the only ticket to getting what he wanted is gone.

Jason would have been happy about this, if this had occurred right before he had the stupid conversation he had with her father before she was taken. But no! Everything was pointing at him, because her father already suspects that he’s cheating on her, and coupled with the fact that he didn’t care about his political career, would only entail that he was planning on getting rid of his daughter.

But seeing as he has not come to him yet, nor give him the hint to say that he suspected him, gave him hope that everything he was thinking was all just in his head.

Vanessa was taken to the safe house away from here, by Miguel who was instructed not to tell her anything about what’s happening. But he’s not sure about how long it will take before she hears that her mother is missing, and no one has anything or a clue to find her. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Things are only getting more complicated than it is, it’s not been two days since he nearly lost his child and now it’s Marilyn. If truly he was right that Alex was the one who took her, then he wouldn’t kill her.

The idiot still has a thing for her, and it was only right that he’s doing this to pay him back for taking her away from him. But would Sergei believe him if he told him that this was between him and Alex? That they are fighting because of his daughter.

Yet, why did her calling for Lucifer not right with him?

Was Marilyn in trouble he didn’t know?

When a fourth body fell to the ground, he had to step up immediately to stop the old man. " Father," He called for his attention. He doesn’t see that no one knows anything. The maids present were shivering and if truly they had anything to do with this, they would have talked instantly when he started his killing spree.

"The cctv got nothing. There was no sign of her leaving the house nor anyone coming in." Jason explained, coming closer to take the gun away from him before he makes another mistake by killing another person. "They are innocent."He added.

"Since you are trying to tell me that Marilyn now had powers and disappeared into thin air? Your security is tacky, Jason and Alex had his way in here easily."

"If he had her he wouldn’t hurt her." Jason said, trying to calm him down so that they can think with clear minds. There’s no way they can figure out anything with him being like this.

He looked at the maids and the two other remaining guards, who screamed in fear of their lives. Before he turned towards his father in-law. "How sure are you, he’s the one who has her? What if he’s..."

"Marilyn was yelling someone’s name, when i tried to open the door. She was running away from someone." Jason explained, and as much as it sounds crazy to both men because the cctv caught footage of him trying to open the door, but it didn’t capture Marilyn. It made Sergie suspect him but Jason was adamant on what he heard and saw.

Something was wrong somewhere.

Someone..no, something has taken Marilyn and it definitely isn’t human. But that doesn’t make any sense.

"Whose name? Who was she trying to run away from?" Sergei stepped forward to him.

Jason hesitates briefly, before looking at him. " Lucifer. She was trying to run away from him."

Sergei did nothing but scoffed at his words," So, you are trying to say that the king of hell magically waltzed himself into your house, and took Marilyn away? Jason, are you okay?"

"I’m just saying what i heard..."He reminded him.

"What you heard is bullshit. I don’t care what exactly is your place in this, but I’m warning you, Man. There’s no stopping me from hurting Alex and his son. They tried to hurt my grandchild and that wasn’t enough, and now Marilyn too?"Sergei shouted.

It left Jason with no choice but to follow with his suspicions, Alex had Marilyn but yet, he still felt that something was wrong.

"My men are waiting for my orders, but i would give the motherfucker the chance to return Marilyn, if he doesn’t want this to escalate to the media." Sergei told him and it left him with no choice but to bring out his phone and sailed his number.

Jason heard Sergei talking but his mind was far away, he didn’t want this to escalate but his father-in-law was adamant on ruining his political career, with that anger in him. He didn’t wait for Alex to say anything before yelling bloody profanity at him.
