Chapter 161: Chapter One Hundred And Sixty-One: They are Going To Wait For Nelson.

Tomorrow Town.

"The call is not going through, this is the fifth time right now, what if something has happened? He shouldn’t be making me this frustrated, at least he should pick up his calls and let me know how things are going on over there."

Marya complained, just like it was her specialty to get over worried about things, but what would you have her do when her mother, and sister knew how intense things were before Nelson left?

Seline didn’t want to tell her anything yet, about him mentioning about the secret stash of money that she had the passcode to, since it’s not being up to two days yet. But with the way things were going, Nelson was making this hard for her not to mention about the thoughts of leaving with her children.

Just like Marya has said, he should have called or dropped a message for them to know that he’s safe. At least that would help calm their nerves, while they awaited the next messages that was about him getting his father’s consent to help them to meet Marilyn.

"He’s probably busy, Marya. Don’t think too much about that...." Seline tried to interfere, she only wanted to help but Marua attacked her.

"Oh! Please mommy don’t tell me that, you don’t know for certain that he’s safe, for crying out loud he could be with his father and..."she paused to take a breath while holding onto the edge of a chair because she was feeling dizzy all of a sudden.

"You are not helping matters by trying stressing your body, child. Well, let’s say that things are bad over there, you wouldn’t risk your life by making his bad father notice you too." Seline snapped.

She’s not a guest to hear about how wicked and irresponsible Nelson’s father was, but that doesn’t mean that she’s ready to lose her own daughter because she decided to act stupid in the name of love.

"I would gladly do anything just to make sure he’s safe, even if it includes me driving down to the..." Marua tried to make her point known to her mother, Rosa hasn’t said anything yet and she’s forced to look at her to help her here.

"I’m sorry, young lady, but you will do no such thing. I am not ready to bury my child just because of your rash decisions, I warned you about this in the first place before you married him,Marya." Seline made the mistake of bringing up the past.

The past which had nothing to do with what’s happening right now, well although looking at her words there are some fragments of it that involve half of what their problem was right now, but it still doesn’t make any sense for her to remind her of this right now.

Was she on her side or not?

"Well thank you mother, for choosing this time to talk about your dislike for Nelson. But as always, I would disappoint you today and for the rest of my life, if you bring up this topic because i would still choose him all over again." Marya said, and before she knew it she was crying already.

Her emotions are all over the place, first she had lost track of her only child and now her husband, and the best thing her mother could do to help her in this dire situation, was to blame her for marrying him because of his family background.

Yeah, it was not a new thing that her mother tends to bring up this topic almost every day, but couldn’t she just keep this conversation for another time?

"Mother, seriously. You shouldn’t have done that." Rosa had to speak up now, as she sat up to look at her mother, who had a blank look on her face.

"You know, it was a mistake having to call you down here for help, it’s very obvious that you didn’t want to help us at all. Nelson was right, this is all my fault."

"Marya, please, you know she didn’t mean any of that, she didn’t mean to hurt you." Rosa tried to settle the issues between the both of them, because she’s tired of the constant bantering between the both of them.

Although she had her own eye out for Nelson, ever since her stay here he had done nothing to prove to her that he would never cheat on his wife with her.

So, she had to give up and allow her sister to enjoy her marriage but their mother was another case altogether.

"Yeah, say that to a fool. Look at her, does she look like she’s close to feeling bad about what she said?" Marya asked Rosa, pointing at their mother.

"Fine, am sorry about what i said, okay." Seline said, finally speaking up since neither of her children were letting this go this time around.

"Mommy..." Rosa sings because she looks as if she’s forced to tender an apology to Marya. It didn’t look sincere

"I just couldn’t bear the thoughts of you sacrificing your life for him."

"That’s because I love him, mommy. If i am willing to do that, it shows how deeply i feel for him. I would do anything to protect my family, including to protect you too, mommy!"Marya cried.

"But you are just rushing things, child. He’s going to call you soon, all you have got to do is to stop rushing things child and..."

"Mommy i can’t help it, I’m worried." Marua cried before falling into her mother’s embrace while she patted her back, just to reassure her that what she’s imagining wouldn’t happen.

’It’s alright, Marya. He’s safe."Seline said while saying a silent prayer, so that her words would he true.

She didn’t want to leave without helping her, although she didn’t like Nelson. Narika is still her granddaughter and family don’t give you on each other.

So yeah, she’s not leaving. Regardless of the two days up or not, they are going to wait for Nelson.
