Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 173 - One Hundred And Seventy-Three:Let Her Go, Abbadon!
Abbadon and Amos successfully tracked Adrik and Narika down to the village where they were hiding, and it occurred to them that they never really left the underworld, which was smart of them.
Unlike Adrik who wouldn’t want to hurt innocent citizens if this was happening right here on earth, Abbadon was different from him, and maybe that’s why they stayed here, in the underworld.
He watched the way the villagers gathered around in the circle, that they all were contained in while he stood aside watching as they squirmed and questioned among themselves what their crimes were.
Amos has sent out his men insearch of the whole place, before he sent a signal to him to do his thing to which he walked up in front of the villagers.
"So, I wouldn’t want to waste my time, all i need right now is to tell me who the leader of this little fan group is?" He asked, laughing when all he got back after his question was a stupid weak man, who was the first to ask.
"What do you want with us? We kept to the agreement of not stepping into Lucifer’s den, so what is this all about?" The villagers tried to shut the man up, in case it hadn’t come to his notice that this was not a normal demon.
He was high ranked, this was Lucifer’s son. Meanwhile, Laila sat all wrapped up in her mother’s embrace, who hasn’t said anything but warned her to keep her mouth shut if asked about the whereabouts of Austin and his wife, Narika comes up.
The woman has always had her suspicions, about why Austin, a demon, would run away from their kingdom down to this lowly village, where everyone valued their peace and kept their boundaries sealed off from entertaining any demon.
Austin was the first to have walked into their territory without getting hurt, and that’s why the elder had granted him access to stay as long as he wanted. But right now, they didn’t need anyone to tell them that Austin has brought trouble knocking at their doorsteps.
But if there was anything special about the villagers, that would be the kind heart to protect anyone of their own, and Austin had proven that he was no threat to them. So, the demons right now who had invaded their territory were the enemies, not Austin and definitely not Narika, his wife.
"It’s such a pity that i would have to kill you, but then i have far more important things to do, so consider yourself lucky you dog!" Abbadon insulted the man, he was half man half fox, he then turned in an approach to leave only to grab the fox up, as the screams left everyone’s lips.
"Who is your leader? Tell me!" He demanded, and without wasting any more time, an old scrappy looking woman shouted.
"Leave my people out of this, you demon!" She screeched, which dragged Abaddon’s attention to her, before he threw the man back to the floor and approached the woman.
"It’s simple what i want, I have gotten information that your tiny village doesn’t house Demons, but yet a demon and a little witch took shelter here days ago, i want to know everything, when they left well that would mean if they actually left, or else you see me burn down everything and everyone standing right now." Abbadon threatened, his voice doing the deed to let everyone know that he meant business.
The villagers has expected their leader to give off the information about Austin and Narika, but then she replied simply." I’m sorry, but just like you said. The Sekè village doesn’t accommodate demons. The information you had is clearly wrong, you try another village. Who you are seeking for isn’t here.``
The village head said comfortably, without giving off the impression that she was nervous because that wouldn’t look good for her or for her people.
She didn’t know who this man is, but she’s sure that he’s not going to leave her without harming anyone, but she would be long gone before she allows him to do any of that.
"Really? Is that all you have to say? I made a mistake coming down here, is that?" Abbadon asked, well teased. It was more like a joke than he was actually sounding serious about this.
He looked back at Amos, to see that he hadn’t gotten anything yet pertaining to Adrik’s nor Narika’s location, so he was meant to leave. No, they were meant to leave because just like the old woman said, it was a mistake.
But his gaze fell on some witch, who’s mind wasn’t clear like that of their leader. She was giving off the fear that soon, something bad would happen and it did.
"Fine then, I guess this is how this all ends." Abbadon said, before shooting the leader right in the eyes as she fell to the ground.
Loud shrieks fell amongst the villagers, while the others who were brave enough stood up to try to fight him, but the other demons standing guard had to assemble them back to the circle, so the whimpers and eyes full of hatred towards Abbadon was the only thing the others could do.
"It was a mistake." Abaddon said, before waking up to stand in front of Barbara and her daughter, Laila, who was shivering." But the next one to go do down, I wouldn’t call it a mistake." He added, before grabbing Laila out of her mother’s embrace.
"Noo!" Laila screeched, as she tried using her powers on him but failed woefully, this was a high ranked demon while she’s nothing but a young elf who hasn’t mastered her ability yet." Mother!" She cried, as she was dragged up by her hair to stand in front of Abbadon, facing the villagers.
"Let her go!" Barbara yelled.
"What if i say...." Abbadon trailed his words but stopped when his talon was crossed around Laila’s neck, in an approach to slice her neck."No, give me what i want or else your daughter dies."
"They are not here." Barbara stood her ground, while deep within her she’s praying that they find Austin and Narika soon. She didn’t know what they did to have fallen into such danger with this psycho, but she can’t lose her daughter over them. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
"Fine then, it’s a pity i have to kill you, mommy dearest wants to watch your blood spill, sweetheart." Abbadon said, pecking her cheeks which made Laila’s stomach recoil, what a sick bastard.
He inched his hands up and started making his cut at her throat.
"Laila!" Barbara called, as she tried to attack Abbadon but her powers weren’t working. A strong hold was on her and she couldn’t move.
"Mommy..." Laila cried, as she felt her blood spilling but when Abbadon tried to finish his work, a door was swung open and Adrik’s loud voice was heard.
"Let her go, Abbadon!"
