"Please let him go." Narika begged, the last thing she would need on her table right now would be to carry the burden of losing Hendrix, if Lucifer goes ahead to shoot him.

She has had enough of losing people, she has a child now and she aimed to give him the best life, but not one filled with murder of innocent people around them.

"Why beg for his life, Narika?" Lucifer asked, amused while looking at her then towards Hendrix who looked like he could piss his pants right now, well this is the first time he’s meeting him so that calls for it.

But then the look on Narika’s face made him ask his next question, since that’s what he could come up with."By chance, are you in love with him?"

Hendrix didn’t know what had caused this, to have a gun pointed at his head but then when he heard Lucifer ask Narika that question, he waited for a positive response from her. One that he has been waiting for months.

"That’s none of your business, Lucifer. You don’t get to involve innocent people in this..." Narika said, coming forward with her child still in her arms. She didn’t know if Jason had successfully left until one of Lucifer’s men pushed him into the room, on his knees.

"No, don’t tell me that, Narika. I would gladly do the honors of getting rid of him, if this is the young man you finally decide to settle down with, but you know the truth, sweetheart. Everyone you meet ends up dear, just like Adrik!"

"No, he’s not dead!" She snapped, making Lucifer enjoy the fury in her face for saying that her mate was dead. He didn’t want to tell her the truth, not yet until he had managed to do the cleansing ceremony of their son.

Lucifer sighed, before he pushed Hendrix to the floor and he ran up to where she was with her child. When he saw the boy, he knew that there’s no way she could stay with such a creature on earth, he doesn’t belong here and Narika could see that through his eyes even without him saying it.

"He’s pretty." Hendrix confessed, while Narika couldn’t help but smile at him calling her son ’ pretty’. A term used for a girl child.

"He’s a boy, Hendrix." She told him, in case he wasn’t seeing the little tiny dick that was forming. She still couldn’t believe that she could birth such a beautiful child.

She turned to see Lucifer give the both of them the chance to do whatever they wanted, but she knew that very soon he’s going to leave, with her and her child.

"What’s the issue with him? Why is he here?" Hendrix whispered, and she smiled softly here saying." We both know I can’t stay here, on earth. He doesn’t look human, Hendrix.``

When Hendrix understood what was going on here, he fastly said his mind.``We could sort that out, Narika. You don’t have to leave, my mother, she..." He paused, looking around to see that she’s just waking up, including the others and when their eyes fell on the uncanny creature in the room, Marya nearly had a heart attack.

Long gone was her confidence of telling Lucifer her mind if he decides to take her child away from her, till she turned around to find Narika looking at her with the finest silver eyes, that made her move back towards her husband.

At this point, she didn’t acknowledge her child anymore.

"Marya, stop that. That’s our daughter." Nelson said, taking her arm into his right hand while trying to urge her to come closer, so that they could meet their grandchild.

"She’s anything but human, she lost being our child the moment she opened her legs for that beast!" Marua snapped, jerking her hands from Nelson’s while all Lucifer did was to laugh at the family drama.

"Mom, please. I’m still your daughter."Narika said with tears running down her face, while Marya did nothing but shake her head in denial and moved back.

Hendrix tried talking but his mother shushed him, making him understand that this was a family issue and that he shouldn’t involve himself.

When Marya’s eyes finally settled on the child in her daughter’s arms, all hell was let loose and she let out a cry, one of disappointment before she started attacking Nelson.

"I told you not to let her keep that child, now look at that. Look at the monster she’s carrying, Nelson. What are we going to do?" She asked.

Narika’s heart broke more and more hearing her own mother curse her child, she could understand the hate that flowed through her towards Adrik being the one to take her away from her, but then she had forgotten that she wasn’t a normal human in the first place.

If anything, she should have seen this coming. Her maternal side wasn’t like any normal human family, and when she finally has a chance to fall in love just like she had done with her father, she calls her child a monster?

"That’s enough, Marya.!" Naomi shouted, and that made Marua more mad than ever because the last thing she needed was to hear her voice.

"You don’t get to tell me that, You stupid bitch. You are part of the reason why she’s in this mess." Marya said, moving forward to beat Naomi but Nelson held her from doing that.

While Hendrix was consoling Narika, her baby started crying all of a sudden and that made her look at him wondering what was wrong with him, because he was fine all along.

"As you can see, this is not a healthy place to let him grow. His grandmother would kill him before he could make it till the next day, well that would be if she could." Lucifer snickered when he appeared at her side.

"Stop talking to her." Hendrix snapped at him, and when he intended to strike him, the ground started to shake, making everyone grab onto something as they didn’t know what was happening.

"Stop this." Narika told Lucifer.

"I’m not doing anything." He replied, wondering what was happening, until before he fully understood the reason why such a thing could be happening, Narika’s baby had stopped crying and was giggling, then did everyone look at the new figure in the room.

"Hey, sweet girl." Adrik called from where he stood a few feets away from her, as he nearly injured Hendrix who was standing besides her, but that was a matter to settle another time, because Narika wasted no time before running into his embrace.

"I thought you were dead, he said... he killed you." Narika cried, moving away from the hug while looking into Adrik’s teary blue eyes.

Nothing mattered to the both of them right now, nor did Adrik remember that he came here to kill his father. He was content seeing Narika and their child, his son.

"I’m right here, sweet girl. That’s all that matters." He pecked her temple, before she narrowed her eyes down to where her child was as the little one was looking at his father.

She didn’t need anyone to tell her that that child was his, he was the full mini Adrik. "Meet Ares, your son." She said, handing the child over to him as Adrik took him carefully into his arms.

Tears probed at the corner of his eyes, while he looked down in love at his son. He’s so beautiful, just like his mother.

Adrik couldn’t believe that he had been asleep throughout her pregnancy, and it hurt him that he wasn’t able to help in any way, and it’s all because of Lucifer.

"Ares, I’m your dad, little one." He said to the little devil, the moment he touched his cheeks with one of his fingers, Ares’s red eyes glowed just like Adriks.

"Thank you. My Love, for giving me such a wonderful gift." He said, coming closer to kiss her. The audience watching the both of them, especially her mother, knew that her daughter was long gone, this demon had manipulated his way into her panties, then her heart and she let him!

Hendrix’s heart broke watching the two couples, he didn’t need anyone to tell him that this is where he calls it quits with his dreams of having a relationship with Narika.

She doesn’t see anyone but Adrik. She doesn’t see him, after months of trying everything he could, while she had no memories of Adrik, she still couldn’t see him and that hurt.

Naomi was all smiles, if anything she looked like the only person cheering for the couple, while Nelson didn’t know what to say. His daughter is now a woman, and a mother. She’s free to do as her heart says.

While Adrik broke the kiss to clean the tears that poured down her face, a clapping from Lucifer brought the both of them from La La land back to reality.

"Isn’t this such a heartwarming family reunion?"
