Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 210 - Two Hundred And Ten:Time Would Heal Their Wounds.
The moment both father and son’s eyes collided, Adrik forgot about Narika and his son and he charged forward to kill his father, who was agile enough to know that this was coming his way.
With every swift attack Adrik fired his way, he successful dodged all of them, as Narika called for the both of them to stop. They were destroying her grandfather’s property and he chose that moment to wake up only to see the damage that they were doing to his sitting room.
"I didn’t know you would still be this strong after sleeping for three months, son. Tell me, did you kill Azazel?" Lucifer snickered, pushing Adrik’s hands that freezed in the air due to his powers he was using to hold his attack, but then Adrik was breaking through, making him grunt before he pushed him away.
"Adrik, stop please." Narika called, but then he wasn’t planning on listening to anyone, not even her. Lucifer deserves to be killed and there’s nothing anyone could do or say right now, that would change what is going to happen.
"This is what you should have thought, before you opened your legs for a monster. Now, not only are they going to bring this house down, we all are going to die along with it." Marya said, using her hands to dishevel her hair while Nelson, her husband was left speechless about what to do or say to stop her from indirectly calling their daughter a slut.
"Mom, please..stop." Narika begged her, again. She didn’t like the way she was addressing her and her child, and if she continued doing that then she wouldn’t be held accountable for what would happen, if her powers spiral out of control due to anger and hurt her.
The house was shaking with everything in it shattering, Alex was talking to Jason who wasn’t hearing anything that he was saying, all his attention was on Lucifer, whom he was studying every of his movements while holding tightly to the gun in his hands.
"Trust me, Jason. You don’t want to do this, the best thing right now is to go home to Vanessa, we would sort things out later about Marilyn but not now." Alex tried to convince him, but when he raised the gun to his temple instead of Lucifer, everyone gasped at seeing the scene.
"Jason, what are you..." Nelson tried to speak, but when the first gunshot went off at the ceiling, everyone ducked for the floor except for Lucifer, who grunted at him trying to complicate things for him, by injuring Narika and his grandson.
So, this time he appeared in front of him and slapped the gun out of the reach of his hands, before tugging the motherfucker up by his sleeves, then turned to everyone.
"See you in hell." He winked at Narika lastly, before he disappeared with Jason, earning a frustratedly shout from Alex.
He was not stupid.
If Lucifer had taken away Marilyn, and she stayed for such a long time. How is he going to explain to Jason’s family that he vanished into thin air, just like his wife did without them involving the cops this time around that would complicate things for him.
"He took him.." Alex mumbled to himself, as everyone sighed. Hendrix wasted no time leaving while Naomi went after her son leaving the family to sort out their issues."He has a daughter, how am i going to explain to the cops that i have nothing to do with his disappearance once they trace him back here?" He asked no one, as Narika looked up at Adrik, her eyes urging him to do the deed, before he conceded then stepped forward to her grandfather.
He didn’t want to meet him yet, if anything the both of them didn’t have the best relationship. But he has learned that whatever happened between them was nothing but destiny bringing him one step closer to Narika.
Lucifer manipulated them all, and that’s what had breed the hate Narika’s parents had for him, and he understand that all. He understood how they felt, because he couldn’t imagine what havoc he would rain down on hell if anything happens to his son, Ares.
"I will bring him back." Adrik told Alex, who looked up to him. He was startled, knowing fully well that he knew that he thought that this young man was out to harm him, because of what he did to him.
"And Polina?" Alex asked, making Adrik confused.
"What about her? She’s dead." Adrik stated, making Alex to snuck in a breath, trying to understand what he just said.
"No, she’s not. I can feel it, your father had her and you have to save both Marilyn, Jason and Polina from him. We deserve peace after everything he has done." Alex said, while Marya cussed something incoherently that made Adrik look at her.
"I don’t know about Polina, but i can’t give you any assurance that i would bring Marilyn back."Adrik told him, he couldn’t bring himself to call that woman his mother after what she had done.
She ruined his life by birthing him to be the son of that psychopath, he just couldn’t understand what and why exactly she slept with someone else just to prove her love to Jason, just because she couldn’t live without him.
"She’s your mother, I am not surprised why you are dragging my daughter in all of these." Marya spoke up, making him arch his brow because he didn’t understand what exactly she was trying to say.
"It’s pretty obvious what your plan is, you have your mother and that lunatic you call a father, and now you have a son, that’s a perfect family you have, without thinking about who’s daughter you involved in your family bullshit!"
"That’s enough, Marya. What is wrong with you?" Nelson asked, because she was acting as if she didn’t have any idea that her own family was also part of the reason why the daughter was involved in all this mess.
"What’s wrong with me?" She asked, pushing at his chest, getting him more and more angry as he reminded himself that this was his wife, and she’s only acting this way because Narika fell in love.
Because their daughter fell in love!
Is that a crime?
"Mom, stop please." Narina cried, holding her child so close to her heart, it broke her heart seeing her parents fight because of her and Adrik.
All she wanted was to be with the man she loves, but her mother was making this seem like a big deal, when it’s not. She loves Adrik and he loves her too, that’s all that matters.
She hasn’t touched her grandchild yet, because she thinks he’s a monster. But her baby had done nothing, he’s innocent. If anything, she’s the one lucky to have him as her child.
"I want to go. Please, take me out of here." Narika begged Adrik, she shut out her parents’ voice as the both were shouting at each other and that made her son start crying.
"Narika, there’s...’’Adrik tried changing her mind, he wasn’t planning for the both of them to go to hell anytime soon. He wanted her to be with her family until she’s ready to take this great step, because he didn’t know what else his father had in store for them once they go back to hell.
"Your father said it’s not safe for Ares here, and you can see that too." She said, as Adrik looked at her parents. He understood how emotionally downcast she was right now, she just had a baby and none of them was considering that.
His girl could fall into postpartum depression at this rate if they continue to be here, so he wasted no time to do as she wished.
Their son stopped crying when he took him from her, while she went to say her goodbye to her grandfather, who didn’t let her change her mind. It’s obvious to the old man that her mother would kill her child if she stayed here, so it’s better she leaves.
Time would heal their wounds, so until then she wanted to keep her child away from all these.
"Let’s go." She told Adrik, who patted her cheeks, while she forced herself to smile at him. Adrik wasted no time before they arrived in hell, they stood outside and it was unusually quiet that made the both of them suspect that something was wrong.
"He knows we are coming, Adrik. What if he hurts our son?" Narina asked, scared.
"Trust me, that’s the last thing on his mind." He assured her before he took her hand, and kicked the gates open, then a firework went up in the skies that made Narika jump, startled.
"All hail, Hell’s savior!" A voice shouted from the crowd that gathered outside to welcome them back home.
"Welcome the new prince of hell, our prince Ares Morningstar! The one who’s going to lead us to our victory"
To say that they were surprised was an understatement, Adrik and Narika didn’t see this coming and it made them wonder what Lucifer was up to.
