Chapter 93: Chapter Ninety-Three: You Can’t Escape Your Destiny.

The Underworld.

Lucifer’s palace, Hell.

~~~
All his life, what Adrik has ever wanted was to live a normal life, yeah he understood that that normal life he wanted was going to be impossible considering the fact that his family’s business was involved in some shady business that always ended up with people dying.
His mother, Marilyn Monroe was the only daughter to the man, who owned Country A. Edward Monroe, he owes the biggest mafia in the east and his mother knew what sort of responsibility she had on her shoulder, as she grew older.
The life of a woman in the Mafia was to be cultured into an obedient toy, and used as a fork of alliance between wealthy families to seal off their business and get favors from all round the corners.
But his mother was the person who has escaped that cruel life, by getting pregnant with Jason. His father. This left her dad no other choice than to give in after she had threatened to kill herself.
This was where Lucifer, the main character in the game, appears. They met in a club, and he impregnated a human with his demonic seed, that gave birth to him. Adrik Ivanov..no, his real name is Adrik morningstar.
Adrik was left speechless, after his father had gave him a rundown of his history with his mother, but what he didn’t see coming was the part where Narika, daughter of the first witch, who he had fucked that ignited a war between the two dimensions, the crystal palace of heaven and hell, was his mate.
His mate!!
That only explained why he couldn’t stay away from her, even if he wanted to. It only explains why he didn’t feel like he was betraying Polina by falling for her niece, and that was only because it was written in the stars. They were meant to meet each other. They couldn’t escape it.
If their meeting each other, didn’t have to connect with his father benefiting with him getting a son from the both of them, who would only he used as weapon for him to sin this war, he would be very fucking happy.
But no!
Lucifer is a daydreamer to think that he would give him what he wanted.
That would only hurt Narika if he did that, the girl doesn’t even know that she’s nothing but a fucking baby breeding machine for his dad to use.
She doesn’t know what she is, and that’s why she had left home just to figure out what her purpose in life was, it would only be devastating for her if she learns of the truth, of who she was to him.
So, he refused to give in.
He pulled away from where his father stood watching him alongside his brothers who were waiting for his say in this.
"No." He muttered.
"What do you mean by no Adrik, this is your responsibility. You can’t run away from this." Dagan tried to advise him on his father’s behalf, since he was far too lost to coordinate himself to tell Adrik what to do.
"You must be fucking stupid to think that i would allow you near her, or force me to breed your fucking army for some stupid war!!" He roared, turning to face all of them who had been waiting for this moment, to tell him the truth.
Why him?
Why Narika?
The arrogant prince, Abbadon stood full with a satisfied smirk on his face, it was as if he knew that this was going to happen and he took joy in seeing that right now.
"Adrik, listen to me..." Lucifer tried talking some sense into him.
But Adrik was far lost in anger, "Don’t fucking call my name!" He roared, doing that he didn’t know when he attacked Lucifer, and he grunted in pain when one of his knees went to the floor.
"Father!!" The others shouted, Aurora rushed to his side and held his arm while the others turned to face Adrik, anger coating their faces as they stood at a stance ready to attack him.
"What have you done?" Ramiel asked, his eyes glowing red at his stupid brother. Who would rather allow the heavens win against his father, because of some girl?
"It’s okay," Lucifer said, telling them to stand down as Aurora was already crying like the crybaby she was. "Someone fucking shut her up!" He growled at Azazel, who took her into his arms and moved away.
"I told you that he isn’t right for this father. He’s a mistake." Abbadon tried changing his mind about Adrik, but there’s nothing anyone can do about it. They can’t change Adrik’s fate. He was the chosen one for this, and up to right now, Lucifer was still not sure about the reason for that.
His other children were all qualified, and ready to do his bidding, especially Abbadon who had always wanted to prove himself to him. Yet, the prophecy had chosed Adrik, his half demoned son.
"Stay away from Narika, this is a warning." Adrik said, with every seriousness lacing his tone. He’s sure that Lucifer knows that he isn’t bluffing. He’s going to kill anyone who touches Narika.
"It’s funny how you think we are the enemies here son, trust me your mindset will change soon." Lucifer smiles, keeping a cool demeanor when it’s obvious to him that Narika has been captured and she’s in the crystal palace.
"What do you..." Adrik trailed on, until something clicked, and he matched fearlessly to stop in front of his father. It gave him the upper hand knowing that he’s not going to hurt him even if he badly wanted to do that." Where is she?"
"I’m afraid your mate has been captured by our enemies, so you see that at the end you will come back to face your responsibility." Lucifer explained.
"They were not demons, I couldn’t get to know what they were." Adrik said.
Lucifer sighed, hiding the excitement brewing in him, that Adrik was finally warming up for his life as his son.
"They are cruel creatures that won’t think twice to kill her seeing that they know what she is, and what attribute she is to us. You will have to save her, Adrik. But you will have the help of me and your brothers as well. After All, we are family right?" Lucifer smirked.
At this point Adrik knew that there was no need trying to play smart, he couldn’t do anything but to listen to his father. Narika meant a lot to him than just what the prophecy says that she is, and at this point he knew how indispensable she was to him.
"So, what would it be, son? Would you run away like a coward or take up your full responsibility and live up to your name as my son. This is your destiny Adrik, you can’t escape it."
