Chapter 94: Chapter Ninety-Four: Insulting Her Captor.

Crystal palace.

Heaven.

Narika fluttered her eyes open to meet unfamiliar white walls, the last thing she remembered was the gray walls of the hotel Adrik had lodged her in.

But here she was staring at white walls, the bed she was on was unrealistically soft and she couldn’t help but moan, as this was the first time she was sleeping peacefully in such a long time.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that Adrik’s torment to her life was over, yeah. The ghost had been treating her so well that it was beyond her expectation of him.

When Narika comes out of her thoughts, and tries to stand up from the bed. Her right tugged at the hold on them, and she sat up instantly to see that she was chained to the bed, like some animal.

"No..no, this can’t be happening. He wouldn’t do this to me." Narika mumbled to herself, she tried letting her distressed mind that had chosen to forgive Adrik, and move on that this was not a serious situation. But when she tried releasing her hand from the silver handcuff, that looked quite exquisite and expensive. She was forced to believe that she had been conned again.

But this time by Adrik.

So much for her believing that they were friends, only to wake up chained to his bed. She should have known that he would take her to his world since she slept, but the Adrik of yesterday wasn’t having those thoughts.

Rather, he was trying to find out what creature had marked her. He didn’t even bring up the discussion about her accepting his proposal, so now what is all these?

Does it mean that i am in the ghost world?

Narika asked herself, looking around the room for something valuable she could use to break the hold on her.

I would be able to meet more monsters like him?

All colors drained in her face when she realized that this was a possiblity, handling Adrik was nearly impossible and the last thing she would need was an army of crazy psycho ghosts like him.

"Adrik! Get me out of here this instant!" Narika yelled, sitting on her bed and pulling her legs up on the bed, while tugging at the chain, the rattling sound was sure to alert whosoever that was outside that she’s awake.

No one answered her, until she saw the shadow outside her door. Two shadows, and then did she forget to mention the unfamiliar voice that made her rethink in the first place that she was here because of Adrik.

She did a second time scan of her room, this place was too unrealistic for it to be called Adrik’s world. Everything looked gorgeous starting from the chandelier and every other decors that graced the magnificent room she was in.

Narika was snapped out of her thoughts by the bright lights that seeped into the room, the moment the door was opened and two figures blocked the stream of lights coming into the room, making her crane her neck a little bit to see them because they were huge and tall.

Everything revealed itself, when one of the creature stepped forward away from the light , it made Narika gasp at the beatiful sight of a male specimen infront of her.

The man...no, the men in front of her were certainly not ghosts, they surpassed Adrik’s handsomeness on a certain level, which made her wonder how on earth can someone be this beautiful.

As shameless as it is, that she’s drooling and checking out creatures that she didn’t know what their deal was with her, her stance was broken by another voice that stepped into the room, making the two others to kneel as respect to him.

"I see our guest is awake." Michael said, stepping into the room with his hands at his back while looking down at the human/ witch that had no idea what she is.

He noticed the way she shuddered in fear when her eyes connected with his blue ones, he was used to people being intimidated at the first sight of meeting him. But that’s just the way it should be, he isn’t friendly like the humans and he’s not a human.

Narika knew that showing the handsome looking yet scary creature in front of her, that she was scared was certainly not her ticket out of here.

Here?

She doesn’t even know what here is, and from the look of things Adrik isn’t here. So, she opened her mouth and the first thing she asked was.

"Where is he? What have you done to him?" She demanded, she was forced to believe that this might be the man who had visited her in the dream, but at some second thought she’s unsure as he didn’t look any familiar to that demon.

She watched the way a frown settled on the strangers face, as if what she just asked wasn’t any reasonable question. From the look of things, she had hurt him and took her away from Adrik. There’s certainly no way Adrik would have her over to them right?

"Trust me, Witch. The last thing you would want to be worried about is about that demon." Michael said, stepping forward to grab her free hand, making her stand up on her knees in the bed, her face facing his angry one.

"What did you just call me?" Narika asked, sounding offended." Okay look Mr. man. Just because you think you are handsome and has the biggest ego doesn’t give you the right to call me a witch.." Narina trailed on, her mouth letting loose to insult Micheal without stopping to know the reason why he called her a witch, and Adrik a demon.

"Michael" Cameal, one of the man in the room called his brother, in a approach to the control of the situation and show Narika where her place is, but Michael raised his hand up halting him from doing anything.

"Okay Michael it is, you seriously don’t have to be rude to strangers, that makes you not look cool at at all. Although you look cool, it’s such a waste that you are nothing but an asshole that gets off on bullying women, and that is what i won’t tolerate..you hear me?" Narika spat, her chest heaving up as she tried to catch her breathe.

She didn’t know if it was her mere stupidity, or the heavens working in unison to plan her death that made her call the stranger an asshole, because when she looked up into his oceanic blue eyes once again. She was sure that this was her end.

He’s going to kill her, and she would become a ghost just like Adrik.

Oh! Narika, what have you done?
